Introduction
Thank you for purchasing our product and enjoy your new clock radio!
You may already be familiar with using a similar product, but do please take time
to read these instructions-they have been written to ensure you get the very best
from your purchase.

Please contact your dealer or Fulljoin if any of these items are missing.
Getting Started
1. Insert the included “AA” Battery inside the rear battery compartment (observing
correct polarity)
2. Push the rear “Time Set” button until the clock is set to the correct time.
3. Insert the external power supply’s connector into the rear power input and plug the
other end into a wall outlet.
Troubleshooting
If you experience any trouble with your wireless internet radio, then you may find it
useful to visit the help section on webpage:http://radio.vtuner.com/
If you have trouble connecting the radio to your wireless network, these steps may
help to resolve the problem:
1. Confirm that the Wi-Fi connected PC can access the Internet (i.e. can browse the
web) using the same network
2. Check that a DHCP server is available, or that you have configured a static IP
address on the radio. To configure the DHCP, you must read the instructions
supplied with the wireless access point.
3. Check your access point does not restrict connections to particular MAC address.
You can view the radio’s MAC address using the menu item configure-＞Network
Configure-＞View Configure-＞MAC address.
4. If you have an encrypted network, check that you have entered the correct key or
passphrase into the radio. Remember that text-format keys are case sensitive.
If your radio can connect to the network successfully, but is unable to play particular
stations, it may be due to one of the following causes:
1. The station is not broadcasting at this time of the day(remember it may be located
in a different time zone)
2. The station has reached the maximum allowed number of simultaneous listeners.
3. The station is not broadcasting anymore.
4. The link on the radio is out of date.
5. The Internet connection between the server(often located in a different
country)and you is slow. Try using a PC to play back the stream via the
broadcaster’s web site. If you can play back the station with a PC, use the form at
http://www.vtuner.com/stations/add station.asp to notify us so that we can change
the station data that is used by the radio.

Safety Warnings
Please read before installation
If this internet radio has been moved from a cold place to a warm place, DO NOT
plug it in for 2-3 hours.
(e.g. from a cold car boot to a warm room). There is a possibility that moisture may
have condensed in the internet radio, this can cause damage to your internet radio. To
avoid damage please unpack your internet radio and allow it to stand at room
temperature for 2-3 hours before use. This will help any moisture
evaporate and prevent unnecessary damage to your internet radio. Covers-Do not
remove any fixed covers as this may expose dangerous voltages.
Weather-It is advisable to unplug an external aerial during a thunderstorm.
Ventilation-The ventilation holes on the casing of your internet radio prevent it from
over heating. Do not block or cover these holes, especially which cloth or paper. It is
recommended you leave a 10cm gap all around your internet radio.
Damage-Never use your internet radio if it is damaged in any way. Always place your
internet radio on a flat level surface avoiding anywhere which may be subject to
strong vibration.
Temperature-Avoid extremes of temperature, either hot or cold, place your internet
radio well away form heat sources such as radiators or gas/electronic fires.
Moisture-Do not allow your internet radio to be exposed to rain, moisture or dust. If
any liquid is split into your internet radio it can cause serious damage. If you spill any
liquid into your internet radio switch it off at the mains immediately.
Caution-Do not open any covers and do not repair yourself. Qualified personnel must
carry out repair work.

Overview
Guide to Features
1. Power or Sleep: Power on/off the internet radio 开机/关机
Set the radio to a station you wish to fall asleep to and adjust the volume to the
desired level. Press the Sleep button and the corresponding blue LED will light. The
radio will turn off automatically after approximately 30 minutes. The LED will
remain lit until the Sleep button is turned off.
2. Back: Go back to previous menu page.
3. Select/ Enter: To choose and confirm the options.
4. Volume Mute: Rotate the volume knob to the right to increase the volume or to the
left to decrease the volume. This knob will also control the volume of headphones
(not included) when connected. If the volume ever sounds distorted, reduce the level
to prevent damage to the speaker.
5. Adjustable LCD Screen.
6. Snooze (Press the Volume Mute button to realize it ): When the Alarm sounds,
press, hold and then release the Snooze button to silence the Alarm for approximately
5 minutes. After 5 minutes, the alarm will automatically resume. The snooze time is
not adjustable.
7. Alarm: Once you have set the wake-up time using the Alarm Thumbwheel, push
this button in to activate the alarm and the corresponding blue LED will light. The
LED will remain lit until the Alarm button is turned off. Push the Alarm button out to
deactivate the alarm and the LED will extinguish. See” How to set the alarm” for
more information.
8. Alarm Thumbwheel: Rotate the aluminum thumbwheel counterclockwise until the
Alarm hand points to the designated time you wish to wake to. Do NOT turn the
Thumbwheel clockwise or you may damage the mechanism. See” How to set the
alarm” for more information.
10. Time Set: Briefly press and release this button to advance the hands in small
increments. Press and hold this button to continuously advance the clock’s hands.
Release the button when the clock is set properly. Be sure the alarm button is in the
Off position when setting the time. See “How to set the clock”.
The Select Rotary Encoder is used to highlight different options when a menu screen is displayed.
Clockwise rotation moves the highlight upwards and anti-clockwise moves the highlight downwards.
When a station is selected and the main screen shows, rotating this control will display a list of stations
from which the current station was selected and allow the user to highlight a different station from the list.
Configure menu
Choosing the option you want from the Configure menu
1. Press the SELECT button.
(Note: if you make a mistake at any point. Press the BACK button to go to the
previous screen.) Turn the knob until “configure” is displayed

2. Press the SELECT button to choose the option shown on the display. The options
are explained below.
<Network Config>
Enable you to scan again for connection to another wireless network, or to
manually configure the network parameters. Use this if you take the internet radio to
another building where you want to use it.这个选项<Network Config>
<Version>
Display the versions numbers of the various parts of software on your internet
radio. <Upgrade Firmware>
Use this option to download new firmware for the radio from the vtuner portal on
the internet. If there is new firmware available, then the radio will prompt you if you
want to download it or not. Note, at this stage, you can press the radio’s BACK button
to cancel the radio beginning a firmware upgrade A firmware upgrade may take
several minutes, so do no switch off the power to the radio until the operation is
complete otherwise the radio may become permanently damaged.
<Language>
Allow you to change the display language. The default language is English.
<Factory Reset>
Puts all the settings back to their defaults as they were when they left the factory,
if you perform a factory reset on your radio will lose all your presets and your
wireless network connection.

What you need before you can use your internet radio
Before you can use your internet radio, you need the following:
z A broadband internet connection.
z A wireless access point (Wi-Fi) connected to your broadband internet, preferably
via a router.
z If your wireless network is configured to use Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP) or
Wi-Fi protected Access (WPA) data encryption then you need to know the WPA
code so you can get the internet radio to communicate with the network.
z If your wireless network is configured for trusted stations you will need to enter
the radio’s MAC address into your wireless access point. To find the radio’s MAC
address into your wireless access point. To find the radio’s MAC address use
menu items as follows: Configure->View Configure->MAC address
z To enter the MAC address into your wireless access point, you must read the
instructions supplied with the wireless access point.
The internet radio should work anywhere within 100 meters of the wireless access
point.
Before you continue, make sure that your wireless access point is powered up and
connected to your broadband internet. To get this part of the system working you must
read the instructions supplied with the access point.
Steps for connecting your radio to your wireless network
Step 1-Power up the radio
Press and hold the Power/Sleep Button for three seconds, until the display light up
and show:

1. When the display shows<Scan for networks>, press the SELECT button.

2. The radio will now scan for all available wireless networks and will display:

If this happens, then you will have to get your wireless access point working-see the
instructions supplied with it.
When the radio finds your wireless network, it displays the SSID for the access point
on the screen-this is a name that is allocated to the access point by the person who set
up the network

For example:
It is possible, and in some locations highly likely, that your radio will find more than
one wireless access point, in which case you can choose which one you want to
connect to. Turn the knob on the radio to see the SSID each access point the radio has
found.
Step 3-Connect to the wireless network
When the SSID for the access point you want to is displayed on the screen, press the
Rotary Encode button, if your network is not configured to need an encryption code,
the screen should show:

The network is using one of the encryption systems: Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP)
or Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA). You therefore need to enter the correct WEP or
WPA code into the radio to get it to communicate with your network.
<Note: if you make mistake during the process, you should press the BACK button
for 3 second to back to the previous menu.>
Then choose one of WEP or WPA to enter the code.
To enter a character use the knob to choose the first character and then press the
select button, which moves the curser on to the next character in the sequence.
When the last character in the sequence has been entered, press select for 2
seconds or longer in order for the code to be accepted. When the key has been

entered the RadioPro returns to the normal screen.
Important Note:
When the last character has been entered it is important to hold the select button
for two seconds or longer or the code may not be accepted. A common mistake
when entering the last digit of the security code is that the select button is not held
down long enough.
Use the BACK button to erase incorrect characters.
After the final character, press select for 2 seconds or longer in order for the code to
be accepted. The radio should now be able to connect to the network.
If the display shows “Invalid Key” or “Network Error>, an incorrect password has
probably been entered.
<Note: if you make mistake during the process, you should press the BACK button
for 3 seconds to back to the previous menu.>
Powering On For the First Time
When the unit is powered on for the first time in a new network environment, the user
is shown the welcome splash screen.
1. The RadioPro will then run through a simplified network setup wizard. The
simplified network setup wizard will scan for networks, and then the user is presented
with a network list.
2. Highlight the network you wish to connect to and press the select button.
3. A screen will appear on initial connection that asks if you want to make the
selected network the default connection. Press the select button to confirm. If the
network is secured, the user is then prompted to enter the network key. The RadioPro
then returns the user to the normal screen, where connection sequence takes place.

Playing a Radio Station
1. Press the back button to go to the main menu, highlight All Stations and press
the select button.
Note:
The All Stations option is only available when RadioPro has established an
internet connection and can access the vTuner portal.
The All Stations menu allows the user to search for a radio station either by the
Location or the Genre of the station. In some cases, a list of Local stations will
become available as well.
2. Select a search method and browse for the required station. Use the select and
back buttons to navigate through the lists of stations.

2. Turn the knob to choose from <Location> or <Genre>

<Location> enables you to choose from the radio stations provided by any country
which you choose from a list.

<Genre> enables you to choose radio stations according to their content, for example
Classic, Rock, Sport, News, etc.

3. Press the Rotary Encode button to choose the option you want.

1. Turn the knob until the display shows the region you want (or select ‘All’ to
display all countries).

2. Press the Rotary Encode button and wait until the radio connects to that station.
Note that some radio stations do not broadcast 24 hours per day, and some stations are
not always on-line.
<Genre>
1. Turn the knob until the display shows the type of content you want, then press the
SELECT button.

If this station has on-demand content (that is , it gives the option of listening to

Changing the volume
When a radio station is playing, you can change the volume simply by turning the
Volume knob.
Playing a preset radio station When a radio is playing, briefly press button (1-5
seconds) for the station you want. (Note, do not hold the button down-if you do listen
the station currently playing will overwrite the one stored in the preset; be careful.)
How To Set The Clock Set the hands to the correct time with the Time Set button,
Push the Time Set Button in and release to move the hands in small increments or
hold the button in to continuously advance the hands, Be sure the front panel alarm
button is in the OFF position when adjusting the time.
How To Set The Alarm Rotate the alarm thumbwheel counter-clockwise and set the
alarm hand to the approximate time you wish to wake to. DO NOT TURN THE
ALARM BEZEL CLOCKWISE OR YOU MAY DAMAGE THE
MECHANISIM.
1. Press the Alarm button ON. The blue alarm LED will light and the radio sound
will turn off. The radio will turn back on when the clock time roughly coincides
with the setting of the alarm hand. If the Alarm is in the ON position and the
source knob is in the OFF position, the tone will sound during the set wake-up
time.
If the Alarm is in the ON position and there is a power failure, the tone will sound
in lieu of the radio during the set wake-up time, provided a fresh battery is
properly installed.
2. To turn the Alarm OFF, press the Alarm button again and the Alarm LED will
extinguish.
Important Note: Due to the nature of the alarm thumbwheel’s analog mechanism,
which was designed for simplicity, there can be up to a five-minute deviation
from when the alarm activates. For example, if the alarm is set for 10:00, it is
possible it could activate at 9:55 or 10:05. We recommend you set the alarm early
the first time you use it to accommodate for this. As you use your Model Three
you will get a better idea of where you need to set the alarm in order to wake-up
at the desired time.

products will perform well. Accordingly, we warranty this product against
manufacturing defects in material and workmanship to the original owner, for a period
of one year from the original date of purchase. This warranty is non-transferable.
This warranty does not extend to damage caused by improper use/installation, faulty
ancillary equipment, modifications, unauthorized repair, shipping damage or loss,
abuse, accidents, use on improper voltage/current, power surges, lightning or other
acts of God, normal wear and tear, or commercial use. Please consult the dealer
from which you purchased this product for warranty service or repair. Proof of
purchase may be required.
Please resist the temptation to take apart this product. There are no user serviceable
parts inside, and any attempt at modifying or repairing your unit will avoid the
warranty.
Fulljoin will not pay for costs incurred due to correction of reception problems,
elimination of externally generated static/noise, loss of time, inconvenience, loss of
use of product, or damage caused by improper use of this product.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights
which vary from state to state. Some states do not allow limitations on implied
warranties or the exclusion of consequential damages, therefore, such restrictions may
not apply to you.
If you purchased an extended service contract from your dealer and service is requied
after the manufacture’s warranty has expired, please contact your dealer to obtain
service.
