The two setup models are outlined below.Typical Home SetupThe diagram shows a typical home setup using a local area network (LAN). With the addition of IP PBX connects to a wireless IP or wireless phone.It provides not just Data IP network, but also provides Voice IP network.With subscribe to telephone service such as fix land line or SIP (SIP service provider), it would enable phone calls in and calls out.Typical Office SetupThe diagrams show the typical office communication setups. Stand along office or branch offices via Internet or Intranet. With subscribe to telephone service such as fix land line or SIP (SIP service provider), it would enable phone calls in and calls out.

To setup the MIP-200, perform the following steps:1. Ensure that the battery is correctly inserted and fully charged before continuing. See “Inserting the Battery” on page 4 and “Charging Your Phone” on page 5.2. Ensure that the time and date settings are correct. See “Setting the Time and Date” on page 10.3. Press the Left soft key ( ) to display the main menu.4. Using the Navigation Pad ( ) to scroll to AP Find and press the Left soft key () to select.The LCD screen displays Searching... and a list of available APs displays.5. Select the desired AP from the list and press the Left soft key ( ) to connect.The LCD displays Connecting... When the AP is detected, Make this the default connection? displays. And options Yes/ No displayed in the lower corner of the screen.6. Press the Left soft key ( ) to make this AP network as your default connection.Connection saved displays. The main screen is redisplayed with the con-nection type Peer2Peer in the Ready state.The MIP-200 is now connected to the AP and ready for use. Press the Right soft key ( ) to display the Phonebook screen.2. Press the Left soft key ( ) to enter the Options submenu.3. Using the Navigation Pad ( ) to scroll and the Left soft key ( ) to select items, go to New Entry.4. Enter the name of the contact in the Name field.5. Press the Left soft key ( ) to save changes.Profile SettingsYou can create new profiles or edit existing ones using the Profile Settings menu.Creating ProfilesTo create a new profile, perform the following steps:1. Press the Left soft key ( ) to display the main menu.2. Using the Navigation Pad ( ) to scroll and the Left soft key ( ) to select items, go to Phone Settings´ Profile Settings.3. Using the Navigation Pad ( ) to scroll and the Left soft key ( ) to select items, go to New Profile.4. Using the Navigation Pad ( ) to scroll the new profile editing items.The edit screen displays the following options:• Edit SIP—enter your SIP User Name, Password, and Display Name of the pro-file using the keypad.• Edit Domain—enter your SIP Domain and Domain Port of the profile.• Edit Out Proxy—enter your SIP Out Proxy and Out Proxy Port of the profile.• Edit STUN—enter your SIP STUN Server and STUN Port of the profile.• Save—save your settings by entering the name for the new profile settings. Then you can activate the new profile after the LCD displays Profile saved. Activate now?• Save As...—save and apply your settings to a profile you select. Then you can activate the new profile after the LCD displays Profile saved. Activate now?• Delete—delete the profile you selected.

Press the Left soft key ( ) to save the edited profile settings.For more information on SIP, Domain, Out Proxy, and STUN see the AP User Manual.Enabling and Disabling TonesTo enable or disable a tone, perform the following steps:1. Press the Left soft key ( ) to display the main menu.2. Using the Navigation Pad ( ) to scroll and the Left soft key ( ) to select items, go to Phone Settings´ Audio Settings.3. Using the Navigation Pad ( ) to scroll and the Left soft key ( ) to select items, go to Keypad Tone, Range Warning, or Battery Low.4. Press the Left soft key ( ) to enable or disable the selected tone.Note: If no profiles exist, only New Profile is available through this menu.

Press the Left soft key ( ) to display the main menu.2. Using the Navigation Pad ( ) to scroll and the Left soft key ( ) to select items, go to Phone Settings´ Display Settings.3. Using the Navigation Pad ( ) to scroll and the Left soft key ( ) to select items, go to Display Name.4. Using the keypad, enter a name to display on the main screen. You can enter numbers and letters.5. Press the Left soft key ( ) to save changes.Setting the Backlight DurationTo set the backlight duration time, perform the following steps:1. Press the Left soft key ( ) to display the main menu.2. Using the Navigation Pad ( ) to scroll and the Left soft key ( ) to select items, go to Phone Settings´ Display Settings.3. Using the Navigation Pad ( ) to scroll and the Left soft key ( ) to select items, go to Backlight Duration.4. Using the Navigation Pad ( ), select the duration between 5 and 40 seconds (the default is 10 seconds).5. Press the Left soft key ( ) to save changes.Configuring AP SettingsYou can set the default access point and configure phone IP and Security settings using the AP Settings menu.To configure AP settings, perform the following steps:1. Press the Left soft key ( ) to display the main menu.2. Using the Navigation Pad ( ) to scroll and the Left soft key ( ) to select items, go to Phone Settings´ AP Settings.

Using the Navigation Pad ( ) to scroll, press the Left soft key ( ) to set the selected AP as the default, and press the Right soft key ( ) to modify AP settings.The AP Settings screen displays the following options:• IP Settings—select DHCP or configure Static settings including IP Address, Subnet Mask, Gateway Address, and DNS Address.• Security Settings—enter the Security protocol. The key options are WPA Pass-phrase, WPA Key, WEP64 Key, WEP64 Passphrase, WEPl28 Key, and WEP128 Passphrase.• Delete—delete the selected AP.4. Press the Left soft key ( ) to save settings.Master ResetYou can return the MIP-200 to the factory defaults using the Master Reset menu.To reset all phone settings, perform the following steps:1. Press the Left soft key ( ) to display the main menu.2. Using the Navigation Pad ( ) to scroll and the Left soft key ( ) to select items, go to Phone Settings´ Master Reset.A warning message displays, to prevent accidental deletion of your set-tings.3. Press the Left soft key ( ) to reset all setting changes,OR4. Press the Right soft key ( ) to return to the Phone Settings menu.Upgrading FirmwareYour MIP-200 supports firmware upgrades as they become available from the vendor.Note: The security protocol selected must be the same as the AP in order for connection to establish correctly. See your AP User Manual for more information.

Using the Navigation Pad ( ) to scroll and the Left soft key ( ) to select items, go to Phone Settings´ Firmware Upgrade.3. Using a USB to mini-USB cable, connect the MIP-200 to a computer with a presaved firmware file or internet access.4. Press the Left soft key ( ) to execute firmware upgrades when the LCD displays Phone must be connected to computer. Phone will now power-down.5. Locate and install your USB driver by selecting Install from a list or specific location on the Hardware Update Wizard window if you install on a Windows platform.Note: Ensure that the battery is fully charged before starting the upgrade procedure.

Also, the protocol is meant to prevent home users from exposing their networks to any sort of attack, and especially free-loading onto their connection to the internet, by configuring the Wi-Fi Protected Access parameters of the Network in an easy way.The standard achieves its goal by putting much emphasis into usability and security, and the concept is implemented through four usage models that enable a user to establish a home network. so e.g. to add a new device to the Network the user can have up to two choices:1. PIN Method, in which a PIN (Personal Identification Number) has to be read from either a sticker on the new STA or a display, if there is one, and entered at the "representant" of the Network, either the AP or a Registrar of the Network, cf below the Protocol Architecture. This is the mandatory baseline model, every Wi-Fi Protected Setup certified product must support it. 2. PBC Method, in which the user simply has to push a button, either an actual or virtual one, on both the AP (or a Registrar of the Network) and the new wireless client device (STA).
