 1   Digital PDI User’s Manual
 2   Before Use   Before using Digital PDI, read the instructions thoroughly for proper operation.   This manual contains the basic instructions of Digital PDI.   The instructions provided by this manual is subject to change without prior notice.  The several features of Digital PDI application includes transfer data over cellular network which may result in additional fees. GIT has no liability for the additional fees from the usage of cellular network.   Safety Warning and Caution Before Use  This section contains WARNING and CAUTION for safe usage of product. Before using Digital PDI, user should read the following information.     WARNING This indicates incorrect handling may result in a  major accident involving death  or serious injury.   The HDP should be secured in a safe location when operating the vehicle to avoid interference with other vehicle equipment.    Only use the specified adapters and cables when connecting the HDP module. (7~18VDC)    Ensure all cables are properly connected during operation. Do not disconnect communication cable or power cables unless finished with the equipment.    Do not disassemble the HDP module.    Use only genuine accessory parts supplied by GIT.    Never connect the device to equipment rather than vehicles.    Products are to be stored within the right temperatures. (Refer to CAUTION)
 3     CAUTION This indicates incorrect handling may lead to injury or damage to property. Under certain conditions more serious consequences may result.    Keep liquids and other contaminants away from the HDP.    Do not drop the HDP.    Do not place any objects (tools, manuals, etc.) on the HDP.    Properly store all components when not in use.    Do not store products in places where;   Extremely high or low temperature (Refer to feature of products)   Extremely high or low humidity (Refer to feature of products)   Inside a vehicle during summer season for a long time   Exposed to direct rays    Avoid a shock or vibrations or under heavy weight.    Avoid a shock or vibrations during shifting.    Keep products away and store from moisture.    GIT is not responsible for those causes that are generated by Mobile Phones or Tablet PCs, which are not recommended by GIT.    Keep products away from flammable substances or places where fierce static electricity can occur.    Products and accessories are not to be coated or painted with chemical substances or acid that can corrode the equipment.    Do not expose the equipment to X-ray or Microwave. This might cause severe damage to the equipment.

 8   HDP Connection  The HDP is used for inspecting the vehicle systems. The HDP and Digital PDI is paired via Bluetooth communication and must be set up as figure below.  준비                    Notice   HDP must be connected to OBD-II connector of vehicle.

 10  • Login     ID  Type ID of inspector.  Password  Type password of inspector.  Save ID  Remembers the ID of inspector when checked.  Login Button Checking  the  validation  with  server  and  displays  the  main page  once  ID  and  password  is  filled  out  and  tap  [Login] button.  11  • Digital PDI Main Screen     Top Menu  Switch menu between vehicle inspection and result.  Logout Button  Logging out from the Digital PDI of current inspector.  Inspector Information  Shows the information of inspector.  VCI Status  Shows  connection  status  of  connected  HDP  that  paired  with mobile.  12 Pairing between HDP and Digital PDI    1. Tap the settings located on top menu of Digital PDI main screen. 2. Tap the ‘VCI Paring’ on list.         3. The  list  of  paired  VCI  is  displayed  on  upper  menu.  It  will  search  for  the available devices when you tap the [Scan] button. 4. Select VCI that you want to use. 2 13 4
 13    5. Type the PIN code of selected VCI when Bluetooth paring popup is displayed and tap [OK] button. 6. The selected VCI is added to paired VCI list. 65
