Thank you for purchasing this Godox product!
This product adopts 2.4 GHz wireless remote system and features single-channel triggering, stable signal transmission, and sensitive
reaction. Composed of transmitter and receiver, this product can function as a remote studio trigger, a speedlite trigger and a camera
shutter release. This product is compatible with all brands of studio flash, outdoor flash, and camera flash. It can work with almost any
camera brands such as Canon, Nikon, Sony, Pentax, etc by changing the camera remote cable. We provide different models of camera
remote cables. Based on the models of camera remote cables we include in the package, this product is divided into 3 models: for
Canon, for Nikon, and for Sony.

Failure to observe this precaution could result in electric shock
or product malfunction. Should the product break open as the
result of a fall or other accident, remove the batteries and take
the product to an authorized maintenance center.

Do not handle with wet hands, immerse in water, or expose to
rain. Failure to observe this precaution could result in fire or
electric shock.

Failure to observe this precaution could result in

smoke or an unusual smell come from this device, remove the
batteries immediately and take the device to an authorized
maintenance center, taking care to avoid burning. Injuries
could occur if it is further used.

Do not leave the device in a closed vehicle in the sun or in
other areas subject to extremely high temperatures. Failure to
observe this precaution could result in fire or damage to the
casing or internal parts.
A Observe precautionwhen handling batteries
Batteries may leak or explode if improperly handled. Observe
the following precautions when handling batteries for use in this
device:
• Use only batteries listed in this manual. Do not mix new and old
batteries. Neither use batteries of different brand.
• Read and follow all warnings and instructions provided by the
battery manufacturer.
• Batteries cannot be short-circuited ordisassembled.
• Do not put batteries into a fire or apply direct heat to them.
• Do not attempt to insert batteries in the reverse direction.
• Batteries are prone to leak when fully discharged. To avoid
damage to the product, be sure to take out the batteries ifthe
product will not be used for an extended period or the battery
power is empty.
• Should liquid from damaged batteries come into contactwith
skinorclothing,rinseimmediatelywithfreshwater.

Battery
• Installing Batteries
Slide the Battery Compartment ofthe transmitter and the
receiver. Insert two 1.5V alkaline AAA batteries (purchased
separately) according to the indications inside the Battery
Channel Settings
There are 16 channels in this device.
Set the transmitter and the receiver to the same
channel before use. Check the table for channel
setting as below.

Low battery powerwill result in no
case occurs, replace new good
batteries as soon as possible.
1. Power the camera off and
disconnect it from this product.
2. Take out the batteries and
insert new good ones.
When Not USING the Flash Remote Control
A Both the transmitter and the receiver have power off switch. In orderto reduce
power consumption, please turn the Function Switch to "OFF" when not using the
remote control.
Connecting to Camera/Flash/Light Stand
• Connecting the receiver to a speedlite
Insert the speedlite hotshoe into the Hot Shoe Speedlite Connection (11)
ofthe receiver and secure the speedlite.
• Mounting the receiver on a light stand
The receiver has a 1/4^ Mounting Bracket Hole (16) atthe bottom.
Therefore, the receiver can be directly mounted on a light stand.
* Mounting the transmitter on the camera hotshoe
The transmitter has a hotshoe to mount it on the camera hotshoe. Insert
the transmitter hotshoe into the camera hotshoe and secure the
transmitter.

Using the Remote Control
■ The device features the following functions:
Wirelessly Triggering Studio Flash Wirelessly
Triggering Speedlite
Wirelessly Controlling Shutter Release (normal shooting, long-
exposure shooting and delay shooting)
■ Wirelessly Triggering a Studio Flash
1. Connection
Turn offthe camera. Mount the transmitter on a camera and turn on
the camera. Turn offthe studio flash. Use the Flash Sync Cable,
insert one end ofthe cable into "Studio Flash Triggering Port" of the
receiver and the other end into the Sync Socket of a studio flash.
Power the studio flash on.
2. Operation
2.1 Slide the Function Switch to nFlash(studio flash and speedlite
triggering mode)" on both the transmitter and the receiver.
2.2 Set the transmitter and the
receiver to the same channel.
2.3 Press the camera shutter
release, and the studio flash will be
triggered simultaneously. Then both
the Transmitter Indicator Lamp and
the Receiver Indicator Lamp will
blink in red, meaning a good signal
transmission between the
transmitter and the receiver. If you
want to test the flash synchronization
condition without taking a picture,
press the Triggering Button on the transmitter.
■ Wirelessly Triggering a Speedlite 1.
Connection
Turn offthe camera. Mount the transmitter on a camera and turn on
the camera. Insert the speedlite hotshoe into the Hot
Shoe Speedlite Connection (11) ofthe receiver. Power the
speedlite on.
2. Operation
2.1 Slide the Function switch to
"Flash(studio flash and speedlite
triggering mode)11 on both the
transmitter and the receiver.
2.2 Set the transmitter and the
receiver to the same channel.
2.3 Press the camera shutter
release,and the speedlite will be
triggered simultaneously. Then both
the Transmitter Indicator Lamp and the
Receiver Indicator Lamp will blink in
red, meaning a good signal transmission between the transmitter
and the receiver. ■ Wirelessly Controlling Shutter Release
1. Connection
Turn offthe camera. Insert the Hot Shoe Mounting Stand of the
receiver into a camera hotshoe. Remove the hot shoe hatch ofthe
camera. Insert one end ofthe Camera Remote Cable into n Camera
Connection Port" ofthe receiverand the other end into the camera
hot shoe port. Turn on the camera. Hold the transmitter in hand.
2. Operation
2.1 Normal Shooting
2.1.1 Slide the Function Switch to
"Camera(normal shooting and long-
exposure settings)"on both the
transmitter and the receiver.
2.1.2 Set the transmitter and the
receiver to the same channel.
2.1.3 Press the Triggering Button on
the transmitter to shoot. In
normal shooting mode, half press the
Triggering Button to

transmit the auto-focus signal and the Transmitter Indicator Lamp
turns yellow. Fully press the Triggering Button to transmit the
shooting signal and its LED light turns red. Afterthe receiver gets
the auto focus signal from the transmitter, its LED light turns yellow.
After getting the shooting signal from the transmitter, the receiver
LED light turns red.
2.2 Long-exposure setting (with camera setto "bulb" mode)
2.2.1 Slide the Function Switch to n Camera (normal shooting and
long-exposure settings)" on both thetransmitterand the receiver.
2.2.2 Set the transmitter and the receiver to the same channel.
2.2.3 Holding the transmitter in hand, fully press the Triggering
Button, hold for about 3 seconds, and then release it. After
releasing the button, the Transmitter Indicator Lamp turns off but
the Receiver Indicator Lamp remains in red, and the camera stays
in exposure status. By pressing the Triggering Button again, the
camera stops exposure and the LED lights
on the transmitter and the receiver both turn off.
2.3 Delay shooting
2.3.1 Slide the Function Switch ton Delay(delay shooting)" on the
transmitter and slide the Function Switch to "Camera (normal
shooting and long-exposure settings)"on the receiver.
2.3.2 Set the transmitter and the receiverto the same channel.
2.3.3 Press the Trigger Button on the transmitterto shoot. In
delay shooting mode, half press the Triggering Button to transmit
the auto-focus signal and the Transmitter Indicator Lamp turns
yellow. Fully press the Triggering Button to transmit the shooting
signal and its LED light turns red and turns off after 0.5 second.
Afterthe receiver gets the auto-focus signal from the transmitter, its
LED light turns yellow. After getting the shooting signal from the
transmitter, the receiver LED light blinks in red. The camera will
shoot after 5 seconds' blinking.

FC-16 for Canon includes two camera remote cables:
C1 &C3.AFC-16forNikon includestwo: N1 &N3. While a
FC-16 for Sony includes only one: S1.

Troubleshooting
1. Your camera has no hot shoe.
—^*^Use the included PC Sync Cord to connect the camera and
the remote control.
2. Unable to triggerthe flash or camera shutter.
—^*^Make sure batteries are well installed.
—^*^Make sure the transmitter and the receiver are both powered
on.
>*Make sure the transmitter and the receiver are set to
the same channel.
•—**Make sure the hot shoe or cables are securely connected.
•—>*Make sure the transmitter and the receiver are set to the
correctfunction switch mode.
3. Camera shoots but does not focus.
>*Check if the lens focus mode is set to MF. If yes, change it to
AF auto focus mode.
4. There exists signal disturbance or shooting interference.
^-Change to a different channel on the device.
5. Operating distance is limited orthere existsflash missing.
—^*^Check ifthe batteries are exhausted. Try to replace
batteries.
Maintenance
▲ Avoid dropping. Strong shocks/impacts or excess stress may
result in malfunction, damage or breakdown.
^ Keep dry. The product is not water-proof. It will lead to
malfunction ifimmersed into waterorexposed in high humidity,
which causes malfunction, rust, orcorrosion.
^ Avoid sudden temperature changes. Condensation happens
if sudden temperature changes, for example, when taking the
transceiver out of a building with highertemperature to
outside inwinter.Pleaseputtheremotecontrolinahandbagora
plastic bag beforehand.
^ Keep away from strong magnetic field. The strong static or
magnetic field produced by devices such as radio transmitter
leadsto malfunction.
