Explanation of Graphical Symbols
The lightning flash with arrowhead symbol, within an
equilateral triangle, is intended to alert the user to the
presence of uninsulated “dangerous voltage” within
the products enclosure that may be of a sufficient
magnitude to constitute a risk of electrical shock to
persons.
The exclamation mark within an equilateral triangle is
intended to alert the user to the presence of important
operating and maintenance (servicing) instructions in
the literature accompanying the appliance.
Correct Disposal of This Product. This marking
indicates that this product should not be disposed
with other household wastes throughout the EU. To
prevent possible harm to the environment or human
health from uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle it responsibly
to promote the sustainable reuse of material resources.
To return your used device, please use the return and
collection systems or contact the retailer where the product
was purchased. They can take this product for environmentally
safe recycling.
The normal function of the product may be disturbed by Strong
Electro Magnetic Interference. If so, simply reset the product to
resume normal operation by following the instruction manual.
In case the function could not resume, please use the product
in other location.

Please take heed of the following before using the KEF
Speaker. Note also that the word “appliance” shall refer to
the KEF speaker, or any part of it.
1. Read Instructions – All the Safety and Operating
Instructions should be read before operating the appliance.
2. Retain Instructions – The Safety and Operating Instructions
should be retained for future reference.
3. Heed Warnings – All warnings on the appliance and in the
Operating Instructions should be adhered to.
Follow Instructions – All Operating and Use Instructions
should be followed. Only use attachments/accessories
specified by the manufacturer.
5. Important – Do not defeat the safety purpose of the
polarized or grounding type plug. The third prong is
provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit
into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of
the obsolete outlet. Refer all servicing to a qualified service
personnel. Servicing is required for any damaged parts such
as power supply cord or plug.
6. Water and Moisture – The appliance should not be used
in or near water, for example, near a bathtub, washbowl,
kitchen sink, or laundry tub, in a wet basement, near a
swimming pool, and the like. The appliance shall not be
exposed to dripping or splashing. Care should be taken so
that objects containing liquids are not placed upon or spilled
into the enclosure through openings and that no objects
filled with liquids, such as a vase, shall be placed on the
appliance.
7. Ventilation – The appliance should be situated so that
its location or position does not interfere with its proper
ventilation. For example, the appliance should not be
situated on a bed, sofa, or similar surface that may block any
ventilation openings.
8. Heat – The appliance should be situated away from heat
sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves or other
appliances (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
9. Power Sources – The appliance should be connected to a
power supply only of the type described in the Operating
Instructions or as marked on the appliance and it shall
remain readily operable. The mains plug is used as the
disconnect device. To be completely disconnected from
the power input, the mains plug of the appliance must
be disconnected from the mains completely. The building
installation shall be regarded as providing protection in
accordance with the rating of wall socket outlet.
10. Power Cord Protection – Power supply cords should
be routed so that they are not likely to be walked on or
pinched by items placed upon or against them. Pay particular
attention to cords at plugs, convenience receptacles and

the point where they exit from the appliance. The mains
plug should not be obstructed or should be easily accessed
during intended use.
Attachments and Accessories – Use only attachments/
accessories specified by the manufacturer.
Handling – The appliance should be transported with
the cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specified by
manufacturer, or sold with the apparatus. When a cart
is used, pay caution when moving the cart/ appliance
combination to avoid injury from tip-over.
Non-use Periods – Unplug the appliance during lightning
storms or when unused for long periods of time.
Damage Requiring Service – The appliance should be
serviced by qualified service personnel when:
a) The power supply cord or the plug has been damaged;
or
b) Objects have fallen or liquid has been spilled into the
appliance; or
c) The appliance has been exposed to rain; or
d) The appliance does not appear to operate normally or
exhibits a marked change in performance; or
e) The appliance has been dropped or the enclosure is
damaged.
Servicing – The user shall not attempt to service the
appliance beyond that described in the Operating
Instructions. All other servicing should be referred to
qualified service personnel.
WARRANTY INFORMATION
(A) IMPORTANT
1. Warranty may vary according to the local legal requirements
of the country concerned. Contact your local authorised
KEF distributor (“Authorised Distributor/s”) for details of
specific warranty terms and relevant service procedures. For
the list of authorised KEF distributors worldwide, please visit
www.kef.com
2. This warranty is in addition to, and in no way detracts from,
your statutory rights as a consumer under any applicable
laws governing this warranty.
3. If any provision of this warranty is unlawful, void or
unenforceable under the applicable laws governing this
warranty, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall
not affect the validity of any of the remaining provisions.
(B) WARNING
4. Purchase KEF products (including passive loudspeakers, active
loudspeakers, powered subwoofers, motorised speakers,
electronics and headphones [“KEF products”]) only from
dealers (“Authorised Dealer/s”) and distributors authorised
by KEF  in their respective jurisdiction to sell genuine KEF
products.   Do not entrust repair work to unauthorised
persons. The components necessary to maintain the
original performance of the KEF products are available only
through Authorised  Distributors.   Warranty is provided
only to KEF products purchased from an Authorised Dealer
and accompanied by proof of  purchase. No warranty is
provided to any product and/or any components not
purchased from an Authorised  Dealer/Distributor.   Keep
and produce receipt or proof of purchase in the event that
service of your product is required. Information such as the
date of the original purchase, the name and model number
of the product, and the details of the Authorised Dealer
must be clearly stated on the relevant receipt or proof of
purchase.
5. The terms and conditions of this warranty may be revised
from time to time by KEF and you agree to be bound by the
latest terms. Any updates to this warranty will be posted on
the official website for KEF products, www.kef.com.
(C) WARRANTY PERIOD
6. All KEF Products are precision engineered and the
Authorised Distributors provide warranty against FAULTY
MATERIAL  AND/OR WORKMANSHIP for the following
products from the date of original purchase is as follows:-
• Passive loudspeakers: FIVE years
• Active loudspeakers, powered subwoofers and motorised
speakers: ONE year, or TWO years if purchased in the
European Union
• Electronics and headphones: ONE year, or TWO years if
purchased in the European Union
This warranty will not be extended or renewed at the
expiry of the above period.
(D) WARRANTY COVERAGE AND LIMITATIONS
7. This warranty is only valid in the country of purchase and
only applies to the first purchaser of the KEF product(s)
from an Authorised Dealer. This warranty does not extend
to any other person or transferee, and terminates if you sell
or otherwise transfer the KEF product(s) to another party/
entity.
8. This warranty does not cover any of the following:-
(a) normal or fair wear and tear and/or any wear from
environmental deterioration of the KEF product and/
or its components
(b) mechanical damage or derangement of the KEF product
in transit that is not attributable to the fault of the KEF
and its Authorised Distributor
(c) deterioration of any consumable components of the
KEF product which would become worn or depleted
through use  (e.g. batteries)
(d) any KEF product whose serial number label(s) is/are
missing, made illegible, defaced, altered, removed, or
damaged
(e) any KEF product and/or any of its components that is
not purchased from an Authorised Dealer/Distributor,  
including any parallel imports or grey market products
(f) incorrect or unauthorised components which have
been substituted and/or used for the KEF Product;
(g) any KEF Product and/or any of its components which
have been installed, disassembled, repaired, converted,
modified,  tampered with or otherwise interfered
with in any way by any person/entity other than an
authorised representative of the KEF and its Authorised
Distributors
(h) any defects, malfunction, loss and/or damages caused by
or resulting from any of the following:-
o any of the circumstances set out in (a)-(g) above
o any accident or negligence not caused by the fault of
KEF and its Authorised Distributors
o any improper installation or connection of the KEF
product (including without limitation any improper
connection of the KEF product to improper voltage
or power source) not caused by the fault of any of
the KEF and its Authorised Distributors
o any improper care, dropping, mishandling, misuse,
abuse or unreasonable or improper use, operation
or maintenance of the KEF Product
o any operation of the KEF product with any faulty,
unsuitable or inappropriate apparatus and/or
ancillary equipment	
o any use of the KEF Product under abnormal or
inappropriate voltage or power surges;
o failure to use, operate or maintain the KEF product
in accordance with the instructions set out in the
users’ manual
o exposure of the KEF product to extreme
temperature, heat, water or other liquids, insects,
excessive moisture, sand, chemicals, battery leakage
or any other contaminants
o any force majeure events, including but not limited
to any acts of God, fire, lightning, typhoon, storm,
earthquake,  hurricane, natural disaster, tsunami,
flood, war, riot, public disturbance
o any other causes beyond the reasonable control of
either KEF and its Authorised Distributor.
(E) LIABILITY
9. Other than the warranty and services set out in this
warranty, to the fullest extent permitted by law, KEF and its
Authorised Distributors shall not be liable to you and/or any
third party or entity whatsoever for:-
(a) any loss, damages and/or malfunction caused to any
product(s) which is/are connected to any of the KEF
products
(b) any damages, loss and liability (except for any personal
injuries or death), whether direct, indirect, incidental,
consequential special, punitive or otherwise, howsoever
caused by, arising out of, or otherwise in relation to the
installation, delivery, use,  service, repair, replacement
and/or maintenance of the KEF product; or
(c) any damages, loss and liability (except for any personal
injuries or death) under this warranty in respect of any
act, omission, or negligence of any of their technicians,
employees, agents, representatives or independent
contractors relating  to the actual or purported
performance of any of the obligations under this
warranty.
10. Without limiting the above, the maximum liability of the KEF
and its Authorised Distributors under this warranty shall not
in any event or under any circumstances exceed the actual
purchase price paid for the KEF product(s).

und die Bedienungsanleitung, bevor Sie das Gerät in Betrieb
nehmen.
2. Bewahren Sie die Anleitung auf – Die Bedienungsanleitung
sollte zur zukünftigen Verwendung aufbewahrt werden.
3. Beachten Sie Warnungen – Alle Warnungen auf dem Gerät
und in der Bedienungsanleitung sollten beachtet werden.
4. Befolgen Sie Anweisungen – Alle Bedienungs- und
Verwendungshinweise müssen befolgt werden. Verwenden
Sie nur vom Hersteller angegebene Befestigungen/
Zubehörteile.
5. Wichtig - Umgehen Sie nicht den Sicherheitszweck des
polarisierten bzw. geerdeten Steckers. Der dritte Stift ist
für Ihre Sicherheit gedacht. Wenden Sie sich im Servicefall
bitte stets an qualifiziertes Fachpersonal. Wartungsarbeiten
oder Reparaturen sind erforderlich, wenn Teile wie das
Netzkabel oder der Stecker beschädigt sind.
6. Wasser und Feuchtigkeit - Verwenden Sie das Gerät
nicht in der Nähe von Wasser, z. B. in der Nähe einer
Badewanne, eines Waschbeckens, einer Küchenspüle oder
einer Wäschewanne oder in einem feuchten Keller etc.
Das Gerät muss vor Tropfen und Spritzwasser geschützt
werden. Achten Sie darauf, keine Gegenstände mit
Flüssigkeiten auf das Gehäuse zu stellen, und verhindern
Sie, dass Flüssigkeiten durch Öffnungen in das Gehäuse
gelangen. Mit Flüssigkeiten gefüllte Gegenstände wie z.B.
Vasen dürfen nicht auf das Gerät gestellt werden.
7. Belüftung – Das Gerät muss so aufgestellt werden, dass die
Belüftung des Geräts nicht beeinträchtigt wird. Das Gerät
sollte beispielsweise nicht auf einem Bett oder Sofa oder
auf einer ähnlichen Oberfläche positioniert werden, welche
eventuell die Ventilationsöffnungen blockieren könnte.
8. Wärme – Stellen Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von
Wärmequellen, z. B. Heizkörper, Heizstrahler, Öfen oder
anderen wärmeerzeugende Geräten (auch Verstärker), auf.

verwendet. Für eine vollständige Trennung der Verbindung

Schutz des Netzkabels – Netzkabel sollten so geführt
werden, dass nicht darauf getreten wird oder sie durch
Gegenstände, die darauf oder dagegen gestellt oder gelegt
werden, eingeklemmt werden. Achten Sie besonders auf
die Kabelabschnitte an Steckern, Verlängerungsleitungen
und an dem Punkt, an dem sie aus dem Gerät kommen.
Der Netzstecker darf nicht versperrt sein, ODER muss bei
der beabsichtigten Verwendung leicht zugänglich sein.
Befestigungen und Zubehörteile – Verwenden Sie nur vom
Hersteller angegebene Befestigungen/Zubehörteile.
Handhabung – Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur mit dem vom
Hersteller angegebenen oder mit dem Gerät gelieferten
Wagen, Ständer, Stativ, Tisch oder entsprechender
Halterung. Wenn ein Wagen verwendet wird, seien Sie
vorsichtig, wenn Sie den Wagen mit dem Gerät bewegen,
um Verletzungen durch ein mögliches Umfallen zu
vermeiden.
Nichtbenutzung – Ziehen Sie bei Gewittern oder im Fall,
dass das Gerät für längere Zeit nicht verwendet werden soll,
den Stecker aus der Steckdose.
Beschädigungen, die eine Reparatur erforderlich machen
– In folgenden Fällen sollte das Gerät von qualifiziertem
Servicepersonal repariert werden:
a) Das Netzkabel oder der Stecker sind beschädigt; oder
b) Gegenstände oder Flüssigkeiten sind in das Gehäuse
gelangt; oder
c) Das Gerät war Regen ausgesetzt; oder
d) Das Gerät scheint nicht richtig zu funktionieren oder zeigt

e) Das Gerät wurde fallen gelassen, oder das Gehäuse
wurde beschädigt.
Wartung – Der Anwender darf keine Wartung am
Gerät durchführen, die nicht ausdrücklich im Handbuch
beschrieben ist. Alle anderen Wartungsfälle sollten
qualifiziertem Fachpersonal überlassen werden.

2. Diese Garantie ergänzt die grundsätzlichen Rechte als
Konsument in Ihrem Land und beeinträchtigt diese auf
keinen Fall.
3. Falls eine Bestimmung dieser Garantie ungesetzlich, nichtig
oder unter dem anwendbaren Recht, dem die Garantie
unterliegt,  nicht durchführbar sein sollte, so soll diese
Bestimmung ausgeklammert werden und nicht die Gültigkeit
der übrigen Bestimmungen beeinträchtigen.
(B) WARNUNG
4. Kaufen Sie KEF-Produkte (inklusive Passivlautsprecher,
Aktivlautsprecher,
aktive
Subwoofer,
motorisierte
Lautsprecher,  Elektronikartikel und Kopfhörer [„KEFProdukte“])nur
von
Händlern
(„autorisierte(r)
Händler“)   und Vertriebspartnern, die in  ihrem jeweiligen

zu verkaufen. Vertrauen Sie Reparaturarbeiten nur einer
autorisierten Person an. Die Komponenten, die notwendig
sind, um die Originalleistung von KEF-Produkten zu erhalten,
sind nur über autorisierte Händler/Vertriebspartner
erhältlich. Die Garantieleistungen für KEF-Produkte fallen
nur dann an, wenn besagte Produkte bei einem autorisierten
Händler gekauft wurden und   ein Kaufbeleg vorliegt. Die
Garantie  gilt nicht für Produkte und/oder Komponenten,
die nicht bei einem autorisierten Händler/Vertriebspartner
gekauft wurden. Bewahren Sie den Kaufbeleg auf und legen
Sie ihn vor, falls Serviceleistungen für das Produkt notwendig
werden.  Informationen wie das ursprüngliche Kaufdatum,
der Name und die Model-Nummer des Produkts, und die
Details zu dem autorisierten Händler müssen klar lesbar auf
dem relevanten Kaufbeleg zu finden sein.
5. Die Bedingungen dieser Garantie können von Zeit zu Zeit
von KEF geändert und angepasst werden, und Sie stimmen
zu, dass  die jeweils aktuell gültigen Bedingungen auch für
Sie Gültigkeit haben. Updates zu dieser Garantie (falls es
welche gibt),  werden auf der offiziellen Website für KEFProdukte, www.kef.com, veröffentlicht.
(C) GARANTIEDAUER
6. Alle KEF-Produkte sind mit großer Sorgfalt und Präzision
hergestellt, und die autorisierten Vertriebspartner bieten,
vom  Moment des ursprünglichen Kaufs, für die folgenden
Produkte eine Garantie bei MATERIAL- UND/ODER
VERARBEITUNGSFEHLERN
• Passivlautsprecher: FÜNF Jahre;
• Aktivlautsprecher, aktive Subwoofer und motorisierte
Lautsprecher: EIN Jahr, bzw. ZWEI Jahre, wenn der Kauf
in der Europäischen Union getätigt wurde;
• Elektroartikel und Kopfhörer: EIN Jahr; bzw. ZWEI
Jahre, wenn der Kauf in der Europäischen Union getätigt
wurde.
Diese Garantie wird mit Ende der oben genannten Dauer
weder erweitert noch erneuert.
(D) GEWÄHRLEISTUNGEN UND EINSCHRÄNKUNGEN
DER GARANTIE
7. Diese Garantie ist nur in dem Land gültig, in dem das
Produkt gekauft wurde, und gilt nur für den Erstkäufer, der
das  KEF-Produkt von einem autorisierten Händler gekauft
hat. Diese Garantie bezieht sich nicht auf weitere Personen
und ist nicht übertragbar. Diese Garantie verfällt, wenn das
KEF-Produkt verkauft oder anderweitig an eine andere
Person/Partei weitergegeben wird.
8. Diese Garantie deckt keinen der folgenden Fälle ab:
(a) Den normalen oder nachvollziehbaren Verschleiß der
KEF-Produkte und/oder ihrer Komponenten, und/oder
die Abnutzung  durch Umwelteinflüsse;
(b) Mechanische Schäden oder Störungen der KEFProdukte, die sich durch den Transport ergeben
und sich dem Einfluss  von KEF und des autorisierten
Vertriebspartners entziehen;
(c) Der Verschleiß von Verbrauchskomponenten der
KEF-Produkte (z.B. Batterien), die durch die Nutzung
verbraucht werden;
(d) KEF-Produkte,
deren
Seriennummern
fehlen,
unkenntlich gemacht, verunstaltet, verändert, entfernt
oder beschädigt wurden;
(e) KEF-Produkte und/oder jegliche Komponenten, die
nicht bei einem autorisierten Händler/Vertriebspartner
gekauft wurden, inklusive Parallelimporte und Produkte
vom grauen Markt;
(f) inkorrekte oder nicht autorisierte Komponenten, die
für das KEF-Produkt verwendet wurden;
(g) KEF-Produkte und/oder deren Komponenten,
die von einer anderen Person/Partei als einem
autorisierten Vertreter von KEF und den autorisierten
Vertriebspartnern installiert, demontiert, repariert,
umgebaut, modifiziert, geändert oder  anderweitig
beeinflusst wurden;
(h) Defekte, Funktionsstörungen, Verlust und/oder Schäden,
die aus einer der folgenden Ursachen resultieren:
o Jegliche Umstände, die bereits in (a)-(g) dargelegt
wurden;
o Unfälle oder grobe Fahrlässigkeit, die nicht von KEF
und den autorisierten Vertriebspartnern verursacht
wurden;
o Unsachgemäße Installation oder Verbindung des
KEF-Produkts (einschließlich, aber nicht beschränkt
auf, fehlerhafte  Verbindung des KEF-Produkts mit
falscher Spannungsversorgung oder Stromquelle)
die nicht von KEF und den  autorisierten
Vertriebspartnern verursacht wurden;
o Unsachgemäße Pflege, Fallenlassen,  Bedienungsfehler,
falsche
Verwendung,
Missbrauch
oder
unangemessene oder  unsachgemäße Verwendung,
Betrieb oder Wartung des KEF-Produkts;
o Betrieb des KEF-Produkts mit jeglichen fehlerhaften,
ungeeigneten oder unangemessenen Gerätschaften
oder Peripheriegeräten;
o Betrieb des KEF-Produkts bei ungewöhnlicher
oder unpassender Versorgungsspannung oder
Stromschwankungen;
o Missachtung der Bedienhinweise für die Benutzung,
den Betrieb oder die Wartung des KEF-Produkts,
wie sie im Benutzerhandbuch erklärt werden;
o Aussetzung des KEF-Produkts zu extremen
Temperaturen, Hitze, Wasser oder anderen
Flüssigkeiten, Insekten,  übermäßige Feuchtigkeit,
Sand, Chemikalien, ausgetretener Batterieflüssigkeit,
oder jegliche andere Schadstoffe;
o Höhere Gewalt, inklusive aber nicht beschränkt
auf Feuer, Blitzschlag, Taifune, Stürme, Erdbeben,
Orkane, Naturkatastrophen, Tsunamis, Flut, Krieg,
Aufstände, Störung der öffentlichen Ordnung;
o Jegliche anderen Gründe, die außerhalb des
vernünftigerweise anzunehmenden Einflusses KEF
und den autorisierten Vertriebspartnern liegen.
(E) HAFTUNGSAUSSCHLUSS
9. Mit Ausnahme der Garantie und der Serviceleistungen, die
in dieser Garantie dargelegt sind, schließen KEF und die
autorisierten Vertriebspartner, im größtmöglichen gesetzlich
zugelassenen Umfang, die Haftung gegenüber Ihnen und/
oder jeglicher dritten Partei aus, die sich aus den folgenden
Gründen ergeben können:
(a) Verlust, Schäden und/oder Störungen jeglicher
Produkte, die mit einem KEF-Produkt verbunden
werden;
(b) Schäden, Verlust und Haftung (ausgenommen
persönlicher Verletzungen oder Todesfälle), ob direkter
oder indirekter, begleitender, späterer, spezieller oder
strafbarer Natur, egal wodurch diese bedingt sind,
die aus oder im Zusammenhang  mit der Installation,
Lieferung, dem Gebrauch, Service, Reparaturen, Ersatz
und/oder Wartung des KEF-Produkts hervorgehen;
oder
(c) Schäden, Verlust oder Haftung (ausgenommen
persönlicher Verletzungen oder Todesfälle) unter dieser
Garantie in Bezug auf eine Handlung, Unterlassung oder
Fahrlässigkeit ausgehend von einem Ihrer Techniker,
Angestellten, Vertreter oder selbständiger Unternehmer
in Bezug auf die tatsächliche oder angebliche Erfüllung
jeglicher Verpflichtungen aus dieser Garantie.
10. Ohne die bisherigen Punkte einzuschränken, soll die
höchstmögliche Haftung von KEF und der autorisierten
Vertriebspartner  durch diese Garantie auf keinen Fall und
unter keinen Umständen größer sein als der tatsächliche
Kaufpreis, den Sie für das/die KEF-Produkt(e) gezahlt
haben.

3. Si l’une ou l’autre clause de cette garantie est illégale, nulle ou
inapplicable selon les lois en vigueur encadrant cette garantie,
cette clause sera écartée et n’affectera pas la validité des
autres clauses.
(B) AVERTISSEMENT
4. Achetez vos produits KEF chez un Revendeur Agréé
ou un Distributeur Agréé par KEF dans le territoire
concerné  pour la vente d’authentiques produits KEF
(enceintes passives, actives, caissons de basses amplifiés,
enceintes motorisées, les produits électroniques et les
casques).  Ne confiez pas de réparation à des personnes non
autorisées. Les composants nécessaires pour maintenir les
performances d’origine des produits KEF ne sont accessibles
qu’en s’adressant aux Revendeurs  Agréés/Distributeurs
Agréés. La garantie ne s’applique qu’aux produits KEF
achetés chez un revendeur agréé et accompagnés  d’une
preuve d’achat. En d’autres termes et pour éviter tout
malentendu, aucune garantie ne sera apportée pour un
produit et/ou pièce détachée qui n’aura pas été acheté chez
un Revendeur/Distributeur Agréé. Conservez la facture ou
la preuve  d’achat que vous présenterez en cas de besoin
d’un service après-vente de votre matériel. Les informations
telles que, -la  date de l’achat initial, le nom et le numéro
de série du modèle, les infos détaillées concernant le
Revendeur Agréé, doivent être clairement indiquées sur la

corrigés par KEF et vous acceptez les termes des dernières

(C) PERIODE DE GARANTIE
6. Tous les produits KEF sont conçus avec précision et les
Distributeurs Agréés fournissent une garantie contre tout
matériel  défectueux et toute malfaçon, depuis la date
d’achat initial pour une durée variable selon les catégories
de produits suivantes :
• Enceintes passives – 5 (cinq) ans
• Enceintes actives, caissons de basses actifs et enceintes
motorisées – 1 (un) an ou  – 2 (deux) ans pour un achat
effectué dans l’Union Européenne.
• Produits électroniques et casques - 1 (un) an ou   –
2 (deux) ans pour un achat effectué dans l’Union
Européenne.
La garantie ne sera ni étendue ni renouvelée à l’expiration
de cette période.
(D) COUVERTURES ET LIMITES DE GARANTIE
7. Cette garantie n’est valide que dans le pays d’achat et ne
s’applique qu’au premier acheteur du ou des produit(s) KEF
chez un Revendeur Agréé exclusivement. Cette garantie ne
s’étendra pas à un tiers ou autre destinataire du produit
et s’achève si  vous vendez ou cédez d’une quelconque
manière le(s) produit(s) KEF à un tiers.
8. Cette garantie ne couvre pas les cas suivants :
(a) usure normale et/ou détérioration liée à l’environnement
du produit KEF et/ou de ses composants.
(b) tout dégât mécanique ou altération du produit KEF dans
un transport qui ne serait pas imputable au Groupe GP
et de son Distributeur Agréé ;
(c) toute détérioration de tout élément consommable
faisant partie du produit KEF et qui deviendrait usé ou
usagé (ex. les piles) ;
(d) tout produit KEF dont le(s) numéro(s) de série
manque(nt), est ou sont illisible(s), effacé(s), altéré(s)
ou supprimé(s)
(e) tout produit KEF et/ou l’un de ses composants qui
n’aura pas été acheté chez un revendeur agréé, et cette
exclusion  comprend tout import parallèle ou réseau
non agréé
(f) tout composant incorrect ou non autorisé qui aura été
remplacé et/ou utilisé pour un produit KEF;
(g) tout Produit KEF et/ou un de ses composants qui a
été installé, désassemblé, réparé, converti, falsifié ou
modifié de n’importe quelle façon par toute personne
ou entité autre qu’un représentant autorisé par KEF et
de ses Distributeurs Agréés.
(h) tout défaut, dysfonctionnement, perte et/ou dommages
causés par ou étant le résultat d’une des situations
décrites ci-dessous :
o toute circonstance décrite dans les articles (a) à (g)
o tout incident ou négligence non cause par KEF et de
son Distributeur Agréé
o toute installation inappropriée ou branchement d’un
produit KEF (incluant sans limite tout branchement
d’un produit  KEF à une source d’alimentation
ou voltage incorrects) non causé par KEF et ses
Revendeur Agréés
o prise en charge inadéquate, chute ou mauvaise
manipulation, utilisation et entretien inadapté(e) ou
déraisonnable d’un produit KEF
o toute utilisation du produit KEF avec un appareil et/
ou équipement auxiliaire défectueux, inadéquate ou
inapproprié
o toute utilisation du produit KEF à un niveau anormal
ou inadapté de voltage ou de surcharge électrique
o défaut d’utilisation et d’entretien du produit KEF en
conformité avec les instructions du mode d’emploi
o exposition du produit KEF à des températures
extrêmes, à l’eau ou autres liquides, aux insectes,
à la moisissure  excessive, au sable, aux produits
chimiques, piles usagées ou autres produits polluants
o tout évènement majeur dont (sans restriction),
incendie, foudre, ouragan, tempête, tremblement de
terre, 
o toute autre cause que KEF et son Distributeur Agréé
ne pourraient raisonnablement pas contrôler.
(E) RESPONSABILITE
9. En dehors de la garantie et des services exposés dans
cette garantie, et jusqu’aux plus   complètes extensions
consenties par la loi, KEF et son Distributeur Agréé ne sont
pas responsables vis-à-vis de vous, d’un tiers ou toute autre
personne, dans les cas suivants :
(a) toute perte, détérioration et/ou dysfonctionnement
d’un quelconque produit qui a été connecté à l’un de
nos produits KEF.
(b) toute détérioration, perte et responsabilité (en dehors
de blessures corporelles ou de décès), que ce soit de
manière  directe, indirecte, incidemment, consécutive,
punitive ou autre, causée par ou en relation avec
l’installation, la livraison,  l’usage, la mise en œuvre, la
réparation, le remplacement et/ou la maintenance du
produit KEF ; ou
(c) tout dommage, perte et responsabilité (en dehors de
blessures corporelles ou de décès) sous cette garantie
eu égard à  tout acte, omission, ou négligence de
n’importe quel technicien, employé, agent, représentant
ou sous-traitant en relation avec la réelle ou supposée
performance de ces obligations sous cette garantie.
10. Sans limiter les clauses précédentes, la responsabilité
maximale de KEF et de ses distributeurs agréés dans le cadre
de cette garantie ne pourra en aucun cas ni circonstance
excéder le prix réel de l’achat de ce produit KEF.

Agua y humedad – El aparato no debe usarse dentro o

Fuentes de alimentación – El aparato debe conectarse a
una fuente de alimentación únicamente del tipo descrito
en las Instrucciones de operación o según lo que se

completamente de la entrada de alimentación, el enchufe de
conexión a la red eléctrica del aparato debe desconectarse
de la red completamente.
Protección del cable de corriente – Los cables de corriente
deben ubicarse de modo tal que no se puedan pisar o
pellizcar con artículos que se coloquen encima o contra
ellos. Preste especial atención a los cables en los enchufes,
las tomas de corriente y en el punto en donde salen del
aparto. El enchufe de conexión no debe estar obstruido O

Accesorios – Use únicamente los accesorios especificados
por el fabricante.
Manejo – El aparato debe transportarse con el carro, el
pie, el trípode, el soporte o la mesa especificados por el
fabricante o vendidos con el aparato. Al usar el carro, tenga
cuidado al mover la combinación de carro/aparato para
evitar heridas que podrían ocurrie si se vuelca.
Períodos en los que no se utilice – Desconecte el aparato
durante tormentas eléctricas o si pasa un largo período sin
usarse.
14. Daños que requieren servicio técnico – El aparato debe
ser revisado por personal de servicio calificado cuando:
a) El cable de alimentación o el enchufe estén dañados; o
b) Cuando se hayan caído objetos o derramado líquidos
dentro del aparato; o
c) Cuando el aparato haya estado expuesto a la lluvia; o
d) Cuando el aparato parezca no funcionar normalmente o
exhiba un marcado cambio en el desempeño; o
e) Cuando el aparato se haya caído o la carcasa esté
dañada.
15. Servicio técnico – El usuario no deberá intentar reparar
el aparato más allá de lo descrito en las Instrucciones de
operación. Todas las demás reparaciones deben derivarse
a personal de servicio técnico calificado.
INFORMACIÓN SOBRE LA GARANTÍA
(A) IMPORTANTE
1. La garantía puede variar de acuerdo con los requisitos
locales legales del país en cuestión. Póngase en contacto

Autorizado / s”) para obtener detalles de los términos
específicos de la garantía y los procedimientos pertinentes

2. Esta garantía es adicional a, y de ninguna manera desvirtúa,
sus derechos legales como consumidor bajo las leyes
aplicables que rigen esta garantía.
3. Si cualquier disposición de esta garantía es ilegal, nula o
imposible de cumplir bajo las leyes aplicables que rigen la
presente garantía, dicha disposición se considerará separable
y no afectará la validez de ninguna de las disposiciones
restantes.
(B) ADVERTENCIA
4. Comprar productos KEF (incluyendo altavoces pasivos,
altavoces activos, subwoofers, altavoces motorizados,
electrónica y auriculares [“productos KEF”]) sólo de los
dealers (“Dealer Autorizado / s”) y los distribuidores
autorizados por KEF en sus respectivas jurisdicciones

para vender auténticos productos KEF. No confíe la
reparación a personas no autorizadas. Los componentes
necesarios para mantener el rendimiento original de los
productos KEF sólo están disponibles a través de dealers
/ Distribuidores autorizados. La garantía se proporciona
sólo a los productos KEF comprados en un distribuidor
autorizado y acompañado del comprobante de compra.
Ninguna garantía es proporcionada a cualquier producto
y / o cualquier componente que no sea comprado en un
dealer/ distribuidor autorizado. Mantenga el recibo y/o  
comprobante de compra en caso de que el servicio de
su producto es necesario. La información como la fecha
de la compra original, el nombre y número de modelo
del producto y los detalles del Distribuidor Autorizado
deberá indicarse claramente en el recibo correspondiente
o comprobante de compra.
Los términos y condiciones de esta garantía podrán
ser revisados de vez en cuando por KEF y usted acepta
que quedará vinculado por los últimos términos. Las
actualizaciones de esta garantía será publicado en la página
web oficial de los productos KEF, www.kef.com.
(C) PLAZO DE GARANTÍA
6. Todos los productos KEF están diseñadas con precisión
y los Distribuidores Autorizados Ofrecen garantía contra
defectos de materiales y / o de fabricación para los
siguientes productos de la fecha de compra original es el
siguiente: -
• Altavoces pasivos: cinco años
• Altavoces activos, subwoofers y altavoces motorizados:
UN año, o DOS años si se adquiere en la Unión
Europea
• Electrónica y auriculares: UN año, o DOS años si se
compra en la Unión Europea
Esta garantía no será prorrogada o renovada al vencimiento
del período anterior.
(D) COBERTURA DE LA GARANTÍA Y LIMITACIONES
7. Esta garantía sólo es válida en el país de compra y sólo
se aplica al primer comprador del producto(s) KEF del
distribuidor/dealer autorizado. Esta garantía no se extiende
a ninguna otra persona o cesionario, y se anula si usted

vende o transfiere el producto KEF (s) a otra persona /
entidad.
Esta garantía no cubre lo siguiente: -
(a) el desgaste normal o justo por el uso y / o cualquier
desgaste del deterioro medioambiental del producto
KEF y / o sus componentes
(b) daños mecánicos o alteración del producto KEF en
tránsito que no es imputable a la culpa de la KEF y su
Distribuidor Autorizado
(c) el deterioro de los componentes consumibles del
producto KEF que se desgastan o se agotan por el uso
(por ejemplo, baterías)
(d) cualquier producto KEF cuyo número de serie (s) es /
son que falta, ilegible, mutilado, alterado, eliminado o
dañado
(e) cualquier producto KEF y / o cualquiera de sus
componentes que no se compra a un dealer/
distribuidor autorizado, incluidas las importaciones
paralelas o productos del mercado gris/negro
(f) los componentes incorrectos o no autorizados que han
sido sustituidos y / o utilizados para el producto KEF;
(g) cualquier producto KEF y / o cualquiera de sus
componentes que se han instalado, desarmado,
reparado, convertido, modificado, alterado o no
interferido de ninguna manera por cualquier persona
/ entidad que no sea un representante autorizado de
KEF y su Distribuidores autorizados
(h) cualquier defecto, mal funcionamiento, pérdida y / o
daño causado por o resultante de cualquiera de los
siguientes: o cualquiera de las circunstancias establecidas en (a)
- (g) anterior
o cualquier accidente o negligencia no es causado por
la falta de KEF y sus Distribuidores Autorizados
o cualquier instalación o conexión impropia del
producto KEF (incluyendo, sin limitación alguna
conexión incorrecta del producto KEF a voltaje
o fuente de alimentación) causada por la falla
de cualquiera de los KEF y sus Distribuidores
Autorizados
o Cualquier cuidado inadecuado, caídas, mal manejo,
mal uso, abuso o uso indebido o inadecuado,
operación o mantenimiento del producto KEF
o cualquier operación del producto KEF con cualquier
aparato defectuoso, inadecuado o inapropiado y / o
equipos auxiliares
o cualquier uso del producto KEF bajo voltaje anormal
o inadecuado o subidas de tensión;
o no usar, operar o mantener el producto KEF de
acuerdo con las instrucciones indicadas en el manual
del usuario
o La exposición del producto KEF a los líquidos de
extremas temperatura, calor, agua u otros, insectos,
exceso de humedad, arena, productos químicos,
fugas o cualquier otro contaminante
o cualquier evento de fuerza mayor, incluyendo
pero no limitado a actos de Dios, incendios, rayos,
tifones, tormentas, terremotos, huracanes, desastres
naturales, tsunamis, inundaciones, guerras, disturbios,
conmoción pública
o cualquier otra causa fuera del control razonable de
cualquiera de los KEF y su Distribuidor Autorizado.
(E) LA RESPONSABILIDAD
9. Aparte de la garantía y los servicios establecidos en la
presente garantía, en la máxima medida permitida por la ley,
KEF y sus Distribuidores Autorizados no será responsable
frente a usted y / o cualquier tercera persona o entidad
alguna para: -
(a) cualquier pérdida, daños y / o mal funcionamiento
causado a cualquier producto (s) que es / son
conectados a cualquiera de los productos KEF
(b) cualquier daño, pérdida y responsabilidad (excepto
por las lesiones personales o muerte), ya sea directo,
indirecto, incidental, consecuencial especial, punitivo
o de otra manera, por el motivo que fuera, que surja
de, o en relación con la instalación, entrega , uso,
servicio, reparación, reemplazo y / o mantenimiento del
producto KEF, o
(c) cualquier daño, pérdida y responsabilidad (a excepción
de los daños personales o la muerte) bajo esta
garantía con respecto a cualquier acto, omisión o
negligencia de alguno de sus técnicos, empleados,
agentes, representantes o contratistas independientes
en relación con el real o intención de cumplimiento
de cualquiera de las obligaciones establecidas en esta
garantía.
10. Sin limitar lo anterior, la máxima responsabilidad de KEF
y sus Distribuidores Autorizados bajo esta garantía no
excederá en ningún caso y bajo ninguna circunstancia el
precio de compra real del producto(s) KEF.

保証に関するお知らせ
(A) 重要
1. 保証に関しては当該国の法律に従います。詳しい保証
に関する規定と修理手順等に関しては正規代理店に
お問い合わせください。正規代理店はwww.kef.com
にてお調べください。
2. この保証規定は法律によるお客様の権利を損なうも
のではありません。
3. この保証規定がもし法律の規定を逸脱している場合
は、
その部分のみは法律を優先とするが、抵触しない
部分は保証規定は有効なものとします。
(B) 注意
4. KEF製品（スピーカー、
アクティブスピーカー、パワードサ
ブウーハ―、電動スピーカー、
エレクトロニクス製品、ヘッ
ドフォーン）
のKEFのその国における正規代理店、正規販
売店よりお求めください。修理に関しては、認定されてい
ない人による修理は行わないでください。パーツも本来の
性能を維持できるものを正規代理店または販売店よりお
求めください。
日本国において保証を受けるには当該製
品を日本国における正規代理店の正規販売店にてお買
い求めになり、且つ領収書が必要となります。並行輸入、
正規販売店以外で購入したものは保証対象外となりま
す。領収書やその他の証明できる書類は大切にとってお
いてください、保証修理を受けるときに必要となります。
購入日、製品のモデル名、正規販売店が明確に表示され
ている領収書が必要です。
日本の保証規定は日本国内の
み有効です。尚、
日本国内では保証書は発行しておりませ
ん、正規販売店の領収書が保証書の代わりとなります。
5. 保証期間と規定は必要に応じて修正されることが有り
ます。
お客様におかれましては最新の保証期間と規定
にお従い戴きます。本保証規定に変更が有ればKEFの
ウェッブサイトに掲載されます。
(C) 保証期間
6. KEF製品はすべて最高の品質でお届けいたしておりま
す。正規代理店はパーツや作業による不良など自然故
障に対してお買い求めになった日より下記の期間内で
あれば保証修理をいたします。
• スピーカー：２年間
• アクティブスピーカー、
モータライズドスピーカ
ー：1年間   パワードサブウーハ―：2年間
• アンプなどのエレクトロニクス製品やヘッドフォ
ン：1年間
保証期間が切れた製品には、保証の延長などはありま
せん。
(D) 保証の範囲と限度
7. この保証規定は製品をお買い求めになった国内のみ
有効で且つ正規販売店よりお買い求めになったご本
人のみ有効です。最初にお買いになったご本人以外の
方や譲り受けた方は保証対象外となります。
8. 下記の事項に該当する場合は、本保証の対象外となり
ます。
(a) 生活環境内での擦りきず、剥げや環境によるKEF
製品の劣化。
(b) KEF及びKEF関係者以外による機械的損害、移
動時のKEF製品への損害。
(c) KEF製品の経年変化（バッテリーの劣化によるも
のも含まれる。）
(d) シリアルナンバーが無かったり、改ざんされたり、
読めなくされたKEF 製品。
(e) 非正規販売店や非正規代理店（平行輸入業者や
グレイマーケットもふくむ）
より購入したKEF製品。
(f) 正しくないパーツや認定されていないパーツを使
ったKEF製品。
(g) 認定されたサービスマン、正規販売店以外によっ
て修理されたり改造されたりしたKEF製品。
(h) 以下の事由によって破損させられたり、欠品した
り、動作しなくなったもの。
o (a)-(g)の状況下で発生した事象。
o KEFやその正規代理店の過失でない、事故
や不注意。
o KEFや正規代理店の過失でない、適切でな
い取り付けや配線（電源電圧の誤りも含む）
をKEFの製品に対して行い事故や故障が起
きた場合。
o 適切でない取扱い、落下、誤った操作、間違
った使用、破壊、適切でない操作や管理を
KEF製品に行うこと。
o KEFの製品を壊れた、
不適切なものに接続し
て使用すること。
o KEF製品を不適切な電源につなぐこと。
o KEF製品のユーザーマニュアルに指定されてい
る使用法を無視してKEF製品を使用すること。
o KEF製品を異常な低温または高温のもとで
使用すること。
また、高熱、水やその他の液
体、昆虫、高湿度、砂、化学物質、電池の洩
れ、汚染物質の中で使用すること。
o 火事、落雷、台風、嵐、地震、
ハリケーン、
自然
災害、津波、洪水、戦争、騒乱のもとで使用す
ること。
o それ以外の事由で、常識の範囲内でのコント
