ANALOG 900m: CORDLESS TELEPHONE SYSTEM
Ar SECURITY CODE SETTING DURING THE CHARGE
D Place the handset on the base cradle after autnmatically a special security code
(65,536) is setting.
B. TELEPHONE OPERATION
1‘ T0 PLACE A CALL
1) Press TALK/L1 or LINE 2 and then lift the Handset.
2) LINE 1 or LINE 2 LED turn on after HANDSET is talk on.
3) BASE LINE 1 or LINE 2 LED is turn on.
4) Listen for dial tone and then dial the required telephone number
2. TO RECEIVE A CALL
1) Auto talk if the HANDSET is on the BASE.
2) Press talk key it the HANDSE’I‘ is out of the cradle.
*. The LINE 1 or LINE 2 LED. on the HANDSET will flash when the HAND
SET rings through ringer on mode.
3. TO END A CALL
l> Press the TALK/L1 or LINE 2 button or return the HANDSET to it‘s cradle on
the BASE
4. OUT OF RANGE DETECTION
1) More than 305ec, the BASE not send terminal code to cut off RF link.
2) The HANDSET emit warning tone after detect out of range.
3) You must return the HANDSET to the BASE re—establish the link if the
HANDSET lose the BASE.
5. LAST NUMBER REDIAL(Up to 32 digits)
[> If you want to call the same number again,simply press the RE/PA button
on handset or base unit.
The last phone number dialed will be,redialed automatically.

D AUTO SCAN
When you initiate or receive a call, the excursion auto-scan for the best
channel available.
7. MIXED MODE DIALING
D If you are in an area that has rotary(pulse) dialing service. you can temporarily
switch to tone dialing by pressing the " ' “(star) button.
8. MEMORY DIALING
D to telephone number(up to 24 digit each).
1) Storing telephone numbers into memory.
a. Dial the telephone number(maximum of 24 digits).
b. Press the MEM button.
c. Press 3 location number(0 through 9).
(1. You will hear confirm tone that the numbers was properly stored.
More than 24 digits, emit error tone.
2) Dialing number from memory.
a. Press the TALK/L1 or LINE 2 button.
b. Press the MEM button.

9. PAUSE FUNCTION
I> Each 4sec pause occupies one digit of the available 24digits per memory location.
10 FLASH FUNCTION

To end conversation, press the TALK/LI or LINE 2 button or place the handset

15 SWITCHING BETWEEN LINES DURING A CALL
1) During a call on line 1. you can make or answer a call on the line 2 by pressing
HOLD.
3) While using Line 1 and then LINE 2 ringing.
b) Press HOLD to hold line Line 1
c) Press LINE 2 to answer the other call.
d) Press TALK/L1 or LINE 2 to hang up Line 2 and return to your first call.
2) During a call on line 2, you can make or answer a call on the line 1 by pressing
HOLD.
a) While using Line 2 and then LINE 1 ringing.
b) Press HOLD to hold line Line 2
c) Press LINE 2 to answer the other call.

16 CONFERENCE CALLS
You can use both lines at the same time to setup a three—way conference call.
1) Make or answer a call and press HOLD.
2) Establish a call on the other line.
3) Press CONFA to end a conference call, press a line button
4) All parties will be disconnected.

17 LINE STATUS LIGHTS
D Whenever any extention line is in use, the line status light for that line
will be on.
D When a call is put on hold at this phone. the light for the line on hold blinks.
C. MAINTENANCE
1. Maximizing Ni—Cd battery life
l> Repeated use/recharge of Ni—cd batteries without periodic full is change
results in reduced useable time.
D When you notice the usable charge duration decreasing, fully discharge the
Ni—cd battery and recharge as described below.
2. DISCHARGING
1) Unplug the telephone line cord from the BASE.
2) Make sure that the DC adapter is connected,
3) Press the talk button of the HANDSET(lN—USE indicator should light).
4) Place the HANDSET out of the BASE cradle to start discharging.
5) Once the lN—USE indicator starts flashing. it means that the battery level
is low. Let it fully discharge for 12 hours or overnight.
6) Once the Ni—cd battery is fully discharged. you may new charge the
battery to it‘s full capacity.
3. CHARGING
1) Make sure the DC adapter and telephone line cord is connected to the BASE.
Place the HANDSET on the BASE cradle.
2) The lN—USE/CHARGE indicator will steadily light up on the BASE.
3) Leave the HANDSET charging on the BASE for 12 hours to get a maximum
charge.
4) The battery will be good for 7 days on ring on mode or 5 hours straight on talk
mode.
