2  Quick Start ManualCharging the deviceNOTICE To prevent corrosion, thoroughly dry the mini-USB port, the weather cap, and the surrounding area before charging or connecting to a computer.1.  Plug the AC charger into a standard wall outlet. 2.  Pull up the weather cap from the mini-USB port.3.  Plug the small end of the AC charger into the mini-USB port.To connect the device to your computer using the USB cable, see page 11. 4.  Charge the device for at least three hours before you begin using it. A fully charged battery can run for up to 18 hours before it must be recharged.Installing the deviceFor the best GPS reception, position the device so the front of the device is oriented toward the sky.  1.
