Forautomatic scoring, a sensormust be attached to your putterto accurately detect thenumber of strokes.Pairing Your WatchBefore you can record shots,you must pair your ApproachCT10 sensors with acompatible Garmin golf wa ch,and assign sensors t  yourclubs.NOTE: You may need toupdate the software on yourwatch before pairi g yoursensors.1Attach all sensors to yourclubs (page 2).2Take a club out of your golfbag.You should keep all of theother clubs in your golf bagwhile pairing.3Bring the club within 0.3 m(1 ft.) of your watch.NOTE: The club headshould be pointed towardthe ground.4From the watch settings,select Club Sensors >Add New.The watch beginssearching for the sensor. Store your clubs upside downin your golf bag. The sensorsenter sleep mode, and aredisconnected from your pairedwatch.Recording Your Shot1On your paired Garmin golfwatch, start a round.2Take a club out of your go fbag.The sensor wakes up andconnects to you  pairewatch. Your watch  isplaysthe nam  of the  onn ctedclub and your typi al shotdistance with that club.NOTE: Your typical shotdistance is not displayedfor the putter.3Hit a sh t.The sen or records yourshot and uploads data toyour paired watchautomatically.Upload scorecards to theGarmi  Golf™ app after eachround to view updatedstatistics on your watch. Tips for Using theSensors• For best results, try not tobump your clubs togetheror drop them on theground.• Carry your clubs upsidedown or horizontally toavoid falsely detectingshots.•Take practice swings f omthe same locati n.The sensors autom ticallydistingui h the d fferencebetween practice  wingsand valid shots if they aretaken from the samelocation.NOTE: This does not applyto the putter.
