La estaca decorativa con temporizador 24 horas y 6 tomas es la solución perfecta para automatizar la
iluminación alrededor de su casa en las o sencillamente para decorarla. Esta cómoda combinación ofrece
seis tomas con conexión a tierra y protección contra la lluvia en un lugar conveniente, cuatro de las

FOR STAKE MOUNTING: Attach the stake to the timer by screwing both sections of the stake into the base of the unit.
FOR WALL MOUNTING: Two Keyholes are available for wall mounting. Mount at least 3 feet above the ground with the timer on top.
IN THE EVENT OF AN OVERLOAD: The circuit breaker will trip, shutting off power to the device. Remove the source of the overload and press the circuit
breaker to reset. Circuit breaker is located under the front cover.
ALWAYS OPERATE THE DEVICE WITH THE COVER CLOSED.

TIMER INSTRUCTIONS:
When the timer is plugged in, the timer’s dial will turn clockwise. The pointer, on the face of the dial, points to
the current time of day.
1. Locate the segments on the outer edge of the timer’s dial. These segments, each representing 30 minutes,
can be pushed down (try using the tip of a pen or pencil). Conversely, segments pushed down can be easily
pushed back up by hand. Be sure all segments are pushed up before programming. Select a time period
(or periods) you want the device turned on, push down the segments that fall on or within that time period.
For example, to have the timer turn a device on at 10PM and off at 2AM, push down the segments
representing 10PM and 2AM, and ALL the segments in between. See Figure 1. You may need to turn the
dial clockwise to access the desired segments.
2. Rotate the timer’s dial clockwise until the pointer on the face of the dial points to the current time of day.
Note: Nighttime hours (from 6:30PM to 6:30AM) are highlighted.
3. Plug the timer into an electrical outlet convenient to the device to be controlled.
4. Plug the device into an outlet on the timer. Turn the device’s switch to the on position for automatic
control. The timer will not turn the device on if the device‘s switch is in the off position. The device will now
turn on and off at the times you have set. In case of power failure, reset the time of day as explained in
step 2.
DO NOT PLUG IN MORE THAN THE RATED LOAD (SEE RATINGS).
To find total watts being used: if watts are not marked on the appliance, multiply ampere rating (on nameplate) by 125 volts to determine equivalent watts.
For lamps with multiple bulbs, sum wattage on bulbs.

2. Haga rotar el dial del temporizador en sentido de las manecillas del reloj hasta que el puntero en la
esfera del dial señale la hora actual del día. Nota: Las horas nocturnas (de 6:30 pm a 6:30 am)
aparecen resaltadas.
3. Conecte el temporizador a una toma eléctrica próxima al electrodoméstico que se va a controlar.
4. Enchufe el dispositivo a uno de los tomacorrientes del cronómetro o regulador eléctrico. Ajuste el
interruptor del dispositivo a la posición para control automático. El cronómetro o regulador eléctrico
no actuará el dispositivo si el interruptor del mismo está en la posición de OFF. El dispositivo ahora se
encenderá y apagará a las horas que usted haya establecido. En el caso de falla eléctrica, se
recomienda restablecer la hora del día como está explicado en el paso 2.
NO CONECTE MÁS DE LA CARGA ESPECIFICADA (VER ESPECIFICACIONES LÍMITE).
Para saber el total de vatios utilizados: si los vatios no aparecen marcados en el electrodoméstico, para
determinar el equivalente en vatios, multiplique el amperaje (en la placa de especificaciones) por 125
voltios. Para lámparas con varias bombillas, sume el vataje de las bombillas.
