Quick Installation Guide

QUICK START GUIDE  Package Contents  Olympia USB Adaptor CD-ROM Quick Start Guide  System Requirements  Your Desktop PC or Notebook PC should match the following requirements in order to run the software:  Hardware: Pentium II Class PC, CPU speed 200MHz or above RAM: Minimum 64MB (128MB recommended) USB port: supports USB 1.1 standard Operating System: Windows 2000, Windows 98SE, Windows Me, Windows XP Professional, Windows XP Home Edition. CD-ROM drive  Quick Software Setup and Driver Installation   For Windows XP: Click “Start”, “Control Panel”, “Data, Time, Language and Regional Options”.  “Regional and Language Options”, and then Select the region and Click “OK”.  For Windows 2000: Click “Start” “Setting”, “Control Panel”, and then Select the region and Click “OK”.   Do not insert Bluetooth USB Dongle before BTW software has been installed.  1.  Insert the Software installation CD into the CD-ROM drive of your PC or Notebook and Follow instructions given on the screen to install the software.   Install Olympia USB Dongle Device Driver  1.  Plug the Olympia USB Dongle into the USB port. 2.  The “Add New “Hardware Wizard” window appears.  Choose “Automatic search for a better driver [Recommended]; (Note: choose “CD-ROM drive) then click on Next. 3.  The system will find the setup files and follow the instruction of the setup file to copy drivers.  Confirm the device driver found; click on Next. 4.  Confirm the completion of driver installation;  click on Finish.  (If you’re experiencing difficulty in installing the device, please go to “Troubleshooting” in the User Manual for more details) 5.  A “My Bluetooth Places” icon appears on the desktop.  The “My Bluetooth Places” program, provides a quick and easy way to perform different application services through Bluetooth connections. 6.  Fore detailed explanations and the operation of how to use the “My Bluetooth Places” program, please find the ‘User’s Manual and Application Setup Guide in the CD-ROM. 7.
