WELCOME  Thank you for choosing the CP300 IP Phone. It will allow you to make phone calls using your broadband connection, whether you’re at home or in your office.
     4CP300 can connect to your wireless router or access point to receive telephone service through your cable or DSL Internet connection.  Note: For information about your Internet phone service, refer to the materials provided by your Internet phone service provider.  3. Signal Strength: Indicates the signal strength of the access point you’re IP Phone is connected to.        Mute icon         Vibration is on.        Key lock icon        Call forward icon        Battery Level: Indicates the amount of battery power you have remaining.  Left-Soft-Key: Enter to MENU  Right-Soft-Key: Enter to PhoneBook   SSID  Display name of current SSID   3.5 Insert and Charge the Battery   Install and Charge the Battery Pack:  1  Open the battery compartment by sliding the cover down. 2  Plug the Rechargeable Battery into the Handset socket 3  Slide the battery cover back into place.
     74  Plug the power cord into the corresponding jack on the bottom of the handset or place the handset in the charging cradle properly.   5  Connect the power supply to a live outlet.  6  Leave the Handset for 15 hours so that the battery pack is fully charged. 7  The battery icon will flash during charging. While the battery is fully charged, it stops flashing.                                                    4. BASIC OPERATION    4.1 Switch the Phone On/Off  Press and hold the [END] key for 2 seconds to turn the Phone on or off. The phone will display the power on / off graphic.   4.2 Setting Up the Phone (Run Easy Setup)  NOTE: Before you begin, make sure you have an active Internet connection and the account information provided by your Internet phone service provider. 1.  Press and hold the [Power key] for 2 seconds to turn on the Phone.  2.  Press [Left-Soft-key] to enter MENU.  3. Scroll to Admin Conf, and then press the [Left-Soft-key] to enter.  4. Input the Admin Password. Default Admin Password is 1111. You can press [*] key to change the input method.  5.  When you are finished entering a password, press [Left-Soft-key] to confirm.  6. Scroll to Others, then press [Left-Soft-key] to enter.  7. Scroll to Easy Setup, then press [Left-Soft-key] to enter.  8.  Select your desired SSID or input the SSID name manually, then press [Left-Soft-key] to confirm.  9. Select the Encryption Mode (None, WEP or WPA Personal) 10. Select WEP Bits (64 or 128). If you select None or WPA in step 9, just press [Left-Soft-key] to jump to next step.  11. Input the WEP Key. If you select None or WPA in step 9, just press [Left-Soft-key] to jump to next step. 12. Input the Passphrase of WPA. If you select None or WEP in step 9, just press [Left-Soft-key] to jump to next step. 13. Input the Username of your Internet phone service provider’s account.  14. Input the Password of your Internet phone service provider’s account.  15. Input your Display Name of your Internet phone service provider’s account. 16. Input the Domain of your Internet phone service provider’s account. 17. Input the Registrar of your Internet phone service provider’s account.
     818. Input the Registrar port of your Internet phone service provider’s account. 19. Input the OB proxy (Outbound Proxy) of your Internet phone service provider’s account. 20. Input the OB proxy (Outbound Proxy) of your Internet phone service provider’s account. 21. Input the OB proxy port of your Internet phone service provider’s account. 22. Easy setup finished.    4.3 Make a call  NOTE: Before making or receiving calls, the phone must be associated with wireless Access Point (AP) and registered to your Internet phone account provided by your Internet phone service provider.   1.  In home screen, key in the phone number. Press [Right-Soft-key] to clear input.  2.  Press [SEND] key to call the number.  3.  To end the call, press the [END] key.   4.4 Speed Dial  If you have assigned a phone number to one of speed dial key 1 to 9, you can make a quick call to that number.   1.  In home screen, press and hold the corresponding speed dial key to automatically dial the assigned phone number.  2.  For details of speed dial settings, refer to PHONE MENU.  4.5 Answer a Call or Reject a Call   When there is an incoming call, you may press [SEND] key to answer the call or press [END] key to reject a call.   4.6 Mute/Unmute  •  While on a call, press [Left-Soft-Key] to open More. Select Mute.  •  After mute the call, press [Left-Soft-Key] to open More. Select Unmute to turn off the mute function.   4.7 Speaker on/off •  While on a call, press [Left-Soft-Key] to open More. Select Speaker on.
     9•  After mute the call, press [Left-Soft-Key] to open More. Select Speaker off to turn off the speaker function.    4.8 Dial a New Call  There are 2 ways to dial a new call while on a call.   Dial a New Call from [Left-Soft-Key] 1.  While on a call, if you need to connect to a third party, press the [Left-Soft-Key] to open More.  2. Select Dial new call and input the new phone number of third party.  3.  Press [SEND] key to dial the new phone number,  4.  When the connection succeeds, you can start the call with the third party. The original call will be placed on hold.   Dial a New Call from [Right-Soft-Key] 1.  While on a call, if you need to connect to a third party, press the [Right-Soft-Key]  to activate Hold function.  You can press the [Right-Soft-key]  again to unhold.   2.  After holding a call, press [Left-Soft-Key] to open More.  3. Select Dial new call and input the new phone number of third party.  4.  Press [SEND] key to dial the new phone number.  5.  When the connection succeeds, you can start the call with the third party. The third party call becomes an active call. The active call icon  is turned on. The original call will be placed on hold. The call hold icon  is turned on.   4.9 Call Hold/Call Transfer/Call Swap  While holding two calls, you can transfer the call to third party or swap the calls.   Call Transfer 1.  While holding two calls, press [Up] or [Down] key to select the active call (the call with active call icon   ), then press [Left-Soft-Key] to open More.  2. Select Call transfer.  3.  The call placed on hold would be transferred to the active call.  4.   The phone returns to home screen.
     10 Call Swap 1.  While holding two calls, press [Up] or [Down] key to select the active call (the call with active call icon   ), then press [Left-Soft-Key] to open More.  2. Select Swap.  3.  The call originally placed on hold would be swapped to be active call and the active call would be swapped to be placed on hold.  Note: You can also active swap function by selecting the call placed on hold.   4.10 Redial  1.  In home screen, press [SEND] key to enter Dialed Calls. The dialed numbers are shown.  2.  Press [SEND] key to dial the number.   4.11 Adjusting Earpiece / Speaker / Hands free Volume  •  While on a call, press [Volume up] or [Volume down] key to adjusting the volume of earpiece.  •  If speaker is turned on, press [Volume up] or [Volume down] key to adjusting the volume of speaker.  •  If earphone (optional accessories) is being used, press [Volume up] or [Volume down] key to adjusting the volume of hands free.     5. PHONE MENU  You can refer to the Menu Structure in below.  1. In home screen, press [Left-Soft-key] to enter Menu. 2.      12   Yes      No   Direct IP     5.3.1 Call Forward  5.3.2 Speed Dial The Speed Dial menu allows you to assign up to nine phone numbers you frequently call to the number keys on the phone. Follow the steps below to assign a contact to your Speed Dial list.  1. If necessary, press [Left-Soft-key] in home screen to enter MENU Æ Call Features Æ Speed Dial.   2. Highlight the number your would like to assign a contact’s phone number to. If you already have a contact assigned to the speed dial location, you see the phone number next to speed dial number.  3. Press [Left-Soft-Key] to select.  4. Enter a phone number, then press [Left-Soft-Key] to save.  5.
