Safety precautions
Safety Symbols
Make sure to follow the directions below to prevent accidents and damage to the
product.
Failure to follow the accompanying directions may lead to

Connecting the power and USB:
Connecting Power:
1. Connect the power adapter to the DC 5V/ 3A terminal at the back of the unit.
2. Plug the power cord for the product into a nearby outlet.
3. Slide the Power Switch to [ON] position to turn the unit on.
Connecting USB:
1. Connect an external USB-supporting device to your digital picture frame.
Tips
The external devices connected to your Digital picture Frame are not
recognized by your PC.
When connecting an external device to the down stream port, use the USB
cable provided with the external device.
Some external products provide a cable that does not meet USB standards.
Hence, they may cause a malfunction.
If an external storage device does not work normally when connected to your
digital photo frame, try to connect it to your PC. If it still does not work normally
when connected to your PC, contact a service center for that external device
or your PC.
1. Power On:
Slide the Power Switch to [ON]. The system will power on and go to home
screen (please refer to 2. Home Screen)
Tips
If it’s your first time to power on / power on after factory reset / power on after
pressing the reset button, you need to go through the step 1.1 to 1.3.
1.1 Calibrate the Touch Screen
5 points are needed to tap to calibrate the touch screen, 1 st in center and 4 points
on every corner. The next interface will not be entered until 5 points are calibrated
OK.
After complete the calibration, user will enter to select the language screen.
1.2 Select the Language
Tap [+] button to select the language.
1.3 End User License Agreement (EULA)
After select the language, user can review the Agreement.

User can tap the check box of [I accept the terms in the license agreement]
and tap [Ok] button. Use will enter into home screen.
If user can the check box of [I do not accept the terms in the license
agreement] and tap [OK] button, then a pop up will display below;

In Home screen, click the wall paper area, it enters to Home Settings.

2.1 Home Settings Selection:
2.1.1 Wallpaper
You can choose a still picture or slide show as wall paper in Home Screen.

Notes
After factory reset, the wall paper would be changed to default wall paper
The selected still picture will be copied to internal memory. If users delete the
picture in Photo application; it would not affect wall paper setup.
If you want to add the background music or change the other settings for slide
show in Home screen, please go to Photo Setup. (Refer to Photo Setup)
User can select play slideshow from internal memory or card. Web or PC is
NOT allowed.

3.1 Add Alarm

3.2 Alarm Control
When the Alarm time is reached, the alarm sounds is on. At same time, the Alarm

Tips
If users don’t tap Snooze button, it will beep the alarm tone for 5 minutes and it will

The alarm will repeat this sequence in 40 minutes. Afterward, it will turn off
automatically.
3.3 Calendar
In Home screen, user can tap the red area to switch between Date Display or
Month Display.

4. Photo Player
Double tap Photo icon in main menu to enter into photo player. User can view

Tap the screen anywhere, a tool bar will be popped up and the photos will stop slide

4.2 Disk
User inserts a memory card or USB device, tap the [Disk] button, it will display
At this moment, select a card or USB device and double tap, user can see the
photos/files in it.
4.3 PC
4.3.1 Settings for Sharing the Photos on your PC
A) Adding Photos to the Library
.Run Windows Media Player (version :need Windows Media Player 11).
Click the [Library] tab at the top.
Click [Add To Library] in the [Library] tab.
In the [Add To Library] screen, select [My personal folders] under the [Select the
folders to monitor] section and select the folder containing photos and click [Add].
Select the folder to share and click [OK] to add it.
When user clicks [OK], the [Add To Library] window is closed and the [Add to
Library by Searching Computer] is displayed. Wait until it finishes the operation and
click [Close] when it is completed.
B) Checking Shared Photos
In the Window Media Player, set the Category, which is under the [
] symbol at
the top left to [Picture].
In the [Library], select the All Pictures, Keywords, Date Taken, Rating, Folder settings
and check whether the added photos exist in the library.
C) Sharing Settings for Accepting Connections from Your Photo Frame
In the [Library] tab, click on [Media Sharing]. If your network is a Private network, the
[Available Device] list and the [Settings] button are displayed in the [Library Sharing]
window.
In the [Available Device] list, select [WiFi DPF] and click [Allow] button.
In the [Library Sharing] window, click [Settings]. The [Library Sharing-Default Settings]
window is displayed.
In the [Library Sharing-Default Settings] window, set the [Media Type] to [Picture],
both [Star ratings] and [Parental ratings] to [All ratings] or a required rating under
the [Default Settings] section. If you want to add a device or computer which tries to
connect to the library to the list automatically, check the [Add new devices and
computers automatically] checkbox.
4.3.2 Settings for Sharing the Photos on your IV7300
Tap [PC] button, you will see photos via uPnP network if there’s uPnP server. To
select a PC icon and double tap the PC icon, then user can see the photo in this PC
just like in Frame and Disk.
4.4 Web
Tap [Web] button, user can browse pictures in network album.
User selects and taps the Web icon, then user can see the photo in it.
It supports four kinds of photo frames: Picasa, Flickr, Frame Channel, Windows Live
Space and Other.
4.5 Photo Setup
4.5.1 Setup Slide Show
Tap the
button, a drop down menu will be prompted.
Tap [Setup] to set the slide show mode.

Display Mode
User can select the display mode of photo in Slide Show
Selections: [Original], [Auto fit], [Fit to width] and [Fit to screen].
Transition Type
User can select the transition type of photo in Slide Show
Selections: [Dissolve], [Slide], [Blind], [Wipe], [Random] and [None].
Photo Interval
User can select the photo interval time in Slide Show
Selections: [5 Seconds], [15 seconds], [30 Seconds] and [1 Minute].
Repeat
User can turn on / off the repeat mode in Slide Show. If user taps [ON], all the
photos in the current folder will be played repeatedly.
Selections: [ON], [OFF].
Shuffle
User can turn on / off the shuffle in Slide Show. If user taps [ON], the pictures in
the current folder will be played randomly.
Selections: [ON], [OFF].
Background Music
User can turn on / off the background music in Slide Show.
If user taps [ON] button, user can select one music file. The background music
will be started from this file.
Tips:
If user wants to change the slide show background music mode (Music repeat/
shuffle playback), please go to Media Setup to change the settings.
4.5.2 Setup Web Photo Account
Get Web Photo from Internet
We will explain by using Frame Channel. User can create your own account and upload
photos. Connect to (http:// www.framechannel .com) and sign in your own account.
When the user signed in your own account, and click [my account], then user can enter
into My account details screen.
You can see your own account’s 4 Digit PIN. User name is your sign in name.
User need to input the User name and 4 Digit PIN in Digital Picture Frame (Please refer
the next section.).
Note: If user wants to get photos from their friend’s Frame Channel account, user must
know their friend’s User name and PIN code.

button, a drop down menu will be prompted and tap the [Setup].

Tips:
For Frame Channel, user need input a pin code. For Picasa and Windows live
space, user only needs to input username. For Flickr and other, user needs to
input the whole RSS link in Link.
Save
Tap [Yes] to save the web photo account settings and go back to previous screen.
Tap [No] to exit without save.
Note:
If the user name input by user contains some invalid characters, there will be a
pop up dialog to prompt user.
User can tap [Yes] to re-input the username, or [No] to go back to Web photo
setup screen.

4.6 Copy/ Delete Photos
4.6.1 Copy one/ Copy all
User can copy one photo or copy all photos in current directory to your
destination.

Tap a photo you want to copy.
Tap the
button, a drop down menu will be prompted. Tap [Copy one] to
copy your selected photo to you destination. See screen below.

Select your destination and tap [Yes] to confirm. User can tap [No] to cancel the
copy.

Select any photo. Tap
button and select the [Copy all], user can copy all the
photos in current directory to your destination.

copy all.
4.6.2 Delete one / Delete all
User can delete one photo or delete all photos in current directory.

Tap to select a photo you want to delete.
Tap the
button, a drop down menu will be prompted. Tap [Delete one] to
delete your selected photo.

button and select the [Delete all], user can delete all
the photos in current directory.
Note: In PC and Web, [Delete one] and [Delete all] buttons are disabled.
5. RSS News Reader (RSS2.0)
Tips
To ensure you can view RSS news normally, the feed you added should comply
with the standard RSS 2.0 protocol. You can search a feed link in internet with
your PC, and then add it to your RSS News Reader.
ATOM and KML format cannot be supported
5.1 RSS News Feed Screen
In Main Menu, tap [News] button to enter RSS News Feed Screen. It displays
the News Feed which input by users or by default.

Note
If your RSS news can’t be refreshed successfully, it might due to your RSS feed is
not in RSS 2.0 standard or your RSS feed might be experiencing technical
difficulties.
5.4.1 In RSS News Feed Screen;

Scroll down to the bottom of that page and click on the [NEWS SERVICES] Menu
bar located there. And click the submenu about the [News via RSS].
When clicked the [News via RSS]. Then user can find the RSS list.
When clicked [RSS] icon, an XML page is displayed, Copy the address displayed in
the Internet Explorer Address box. This is the RSS address. Please make sure this
is RSS2.0 format.

In RSS News Setup, tap
button enter to Feeds Setup screen.

can add 256 news feed in maximum.

User can input the name of news feed by keyboard.

Category
User can choose one category for the inputted news feed
Selections: [Local], [World], [Business], [Science], [Entertainment], [Sports],
[Society] and [Other].
Save
Tap [Yes] to save the news feed settings and go back to previous screen.
Tap [No] to exit without save.

The new created RSS news feed will be displayed in Feed Setup Screen, like this:

6. Media Player
In Main Menu, tap [Media] button to enter Media Player.

6.1 Music / Video
User can tap [Music] button to enter Music screen or tap [Video] to enter Video
Screen.
Tap once to select a file / disk / folder and tap again to open a disk / folder or start
playback a media file.
Frame
Frame is the internal memory of the device. User can connect PC with provided USB
cable to manage the audio/ video files. After successfully connected, user can see a
new Removable Disk under My Computer in PC.

If user inserts a memory card or USB device, tap the [Disk] button to show the external
memory disk.

Music / Video Now Playing Screen
When a music file is playing, the Now Playing Screen is shown.
Audio Now Playing Screen
Tips
When video file is playing, simply tap the video playback area once to scale to
full screen. Tap anywhere again to close full screen video display.
In order to provide the best video performance, the suggested video resolution
is 320x240 or below and frame rate is 25fps or below.
6. 2 Internet Radio
User can tap [Internet Radio] button to enter Internet Radio screen.
Tap once to select a folder or an internet radio station and tap again to open the folder
or start connecting to station.

Tap the [Stations] button to display all the of default internet radio stations.
More
Tap the [More] button, user can find the folder of My Favorite and the folder of My Added
Stations.
Internet Radio Now Playing Screen
When connecting a radio station, the Now Playing Screen is shown. User can see
the connecting status message or buffering status message.
Tips:
If the connection is failed, it may due to the internet radio server is shut down
temporarily or the format is not supported.
6.3 Media Setup
6.3.1 Setup Media Playback
Tap the
button in Media Player, a drop down menu will be prompted. Tap
[Setup] to set Media settings.

Repeat Mode
User can select the repeat mode of media playback.
Selection: [None], [Repeat one] and [Repeat All]
Repeat One = Repeat the current music/video file over and over again.
Repeat All = Repeat all songs/video in the current playing list.
Shuffle
User can turn on / off the shuffle media playback.
Selection: [ON], [OFF]
ON = The media files will be played randomly.
OFF = The media files will be played in sequent. The playback sequence is
sorted by file name.
6.3.2 Add / Edit a Internet Radio Station
User can add internet radio stations.

6.4 Copy / Delete Media Files
6.4.1 Copy one/ Copy all
User can copy one media file or copy all media files in current directory to your
destination.
Copy One
Tap to select a media file you want to copy.
Tap the
button, a drop down menu will be prompted. Tap [Copy one] to
copy your selected media file to you destination.

Select your destination and tap [Yes] to confirm. User can tap [No] to cancel the
copy.

Select any media file. Tap
button and select the [Copy all], user can copy all
the media files in current directory to your destination.

copy all.
6.4.2 Delete one / Delete all
User can delete one media file or delete all media files in current directory.

Tap to select a media file you want to delete.
Tap the
button, a drop down menu will be prompted. Tap [Delete one] to
delete your selected media file.

Select any media file. Tap
button and select the [Delete all], user can delete
all the media files in current directory.
Note: In PC and Web, [Delete one] and [Delete all] buttons are disabled.
7. Tools
In Main Menu, tap [Tools] button to enter Tools Screen. It includes two applications;
Clock and Calendar.

Tap Clock or Calendar to open clock / calendar application. (See 3. Clock and
Calendar)
8. Settings
- In Main Menu, tap [Settings] button to enter Settings. It includes five settings; Network,
Date/Time, Display, System, and Power Management.
8.1 Network
After you enter into Main Menu Window, click Settings icon to set network.
1. Wi-Fi
User can configure your Wi-Fi network. Please consult your Wi-Fi network administrator
for all of the network settings. The device doesn’t support Hotspot login / web browser
internet login.
Tips:
Please make sure the Wi-Fi network is connected successfully before you use any
network related applications, e.g. Web Photo, Internet Radio, RSS News Reader.

Steps of Setup Wi-Fi Network (Your access point’s DHCP settings is On and the AP
SSID is not Hidden)
Go to Network Settings Screen.
Turn on Wi-Fi: Tap ON button of WiFi
to search the available Access Points (AP). All the

available APs and signal strength are listed in Wi-Fi Network Search Screen. If the
AP has network key, the lock icon
will be displayed.

Tap [Connect] button to select an AP to connect. If the AP has network key, a
screen will be prompt to remind user to input the network key. Please consult
your Wi-Fi network administrator to get network key. Tap
button to input the
network key.
Tap [OK] to confirm.
A Pop up “Connecting…” screen is displayed.

After successfully connected to AP, user can see a green tick icon next to AP SSID
name.

Note:
User can tap

User can tap [Clear] button to disconnect current AP connection and clear
all of the settings in current AP including the network key.
If connection is failed, a pop up message “Network Connection Failed” will
alert user.
Steps of Setup Wi-Fi Network (Your access point’s DHCP settings is ON but the AP
SSID is Hidden)
Tips:
- Follow the steps ONLY if your AP SSID name is hidden. Please consult your Wi-Fi
network administrator to confirm.
- Since your AP SSID is hidden, you can’t see your AP in Wi-Fi Network Search
Screen. After you input your AP details in Manual Edit Wi-Fi Network Screen, your
AP can be shown in Wi-Fi Network Search Screen.

- User can input a Wi-Fi AP SSID name by keyboard manually.

- User needs to select a correct network key mode. If there is no network key,
please select [No]
- Selections: [No], [WEP], [WPA] and [WPA2]

- User needs to input a correct network key if the Network Key Mode selections
are WEP/WPA/WPA 2.
Save
- Tap [Yes] button to save and return to previous screen.
- Tap [No] to exit without save.

After successfully added the Wi-Fi network manually, tap
WiFi Network. User can see the new manual added Wi-Fi network name.
Tap [Connect] button to connect the new manual added Wi-Fi network.
2. LAN
Click [ON/OFF] button to enable or disable it.
Click [MORE] button, you can view the details.
3. Advanced Settings
Tips:
- Follow the steps of Advanced Settings ONLY if your access point’s DHCP setting
is OFF. The device needs to use a fixed IP address to connect to the AP. Please
consult your network administrator to confirm.

o User can select turn on / off the DHCP. In normal case, the DHCP is ON and
the device can get the IP address which assigned by the AP. If the DHCP
is OFF, the device will use a fixed IP address to connect to AP.
o Selections: ON / OFF

o If the DHCP is [OFF], user needs to input a fixed IP address by keyboard.
o Tap
to input the IP address. For example, 192.168.0.2
Subnet Mask / Default Gateway / DNS Server
o If the DHCP is OFF, user needs to input a Subnet Mask / Default Gateway /
DNS Server by keyboard.

o Tap [Yes] to save the advanced network settings and go back to previous
screen
o Tap [No] to exit without save.
After successfully set the Fixed IP address (DHCP is OFF) in Advanced Settings,
please follow the same procedures of Setup Wi-Fi Network. (See 8.1)
Show Network Status
If Wi-Fi or LAN is connected successfully, the SSID name of AP (Access Point)
and “Connected” message or IP Address is shown in Network Settings Screen.

Note:
If the connection is failed, the Status bar displays “Not Connected”
When the Status is showing “Connecting”, the device has just finished the
association with AP and is trying to make connection. Please be patient until it
shows “Connected”.
Tap the
button to view the network details, including IP Address, Subnet
Mask, Default Gateway and DNS Server.
8.2 Date / Time
In Settings, Tap
button to enter to Date/Time Settings Screen.

to enter Set Time Screen to set the Hour / Minute and AM / PM.

Note: If user selects 24 hours in Time Format, AM/PM will not be displayed.

- User can select different Time Format.
- Selections: [12 hours] or [24 hours].
Internet Time Synchronization
- User can turn on / off the Internet Time Synchronization.
- Selection: ON / OFF
- If user select ON, the system time of your device would be synchronized with
network GMT time. The network GMT time is from internet. If user select OFF, this
function will be disabled and the system time of device will follow the local settings.
(See Time in 8.2 Date/Time)
Time Zone
- User can select a Time Zone that you locate. If the Internet Time Synchronization
is ON, user must set the Time Zone to adjust the system time locally.

8.3 Display
In Settings, tap

Screen Calibration
User can calibrate the touch screen in order to have a more precise sensitivity of
touch panel.
Tap the
button to start calibrate the screen. 5 points are needed to tap (4
points are on every corner and the 5th in the center)
8.3.2 Brightness
User can adjust the LCD Brightness level.

8.4 System
In Settings, tap
button to enter System Settings Screen.

Language
User can select the Language of system.
Selections: [English], [French], [Spanish], [German], [Italian] and [Dutch].
Firmware Upgrade
1. Manual Firmware Upgrade
- Tap the [Confirm] button to start checking for upgrade.
-
If the device firmware is the most upgraded, user doesn’t need to upgrade the
firmware.
If the device finds a new firmware in network, there will be a pop up dialog to
remind user.
Tap [Yes] button to download the new firmware or tap [No] button to cancel.
If user selects [Yes] button, it starts downloading the new firmware.
-
After downloaded successfully, user is requested to restart the device to install
new firmware.
Tap [Yes] button to restart now or tap [No] to restart later and return to System
Settings Screen. The new firmware will be automatically installed next time the
device is power on.
After restart the device, please wait for installing the new firmware.
Tap [OK] to return to Home Screen after the upgrade process is success.
2. Auto Firmware Upgrade
- The device always checks for upgrade automatically. If a new firmware is found,
please follow the procedures to finish the upgrade.
Factory Reset
User can reset the product settings to factory defaults.
Tap the [Confirm] button and tap [Yes] to confirm.

User can review the system details
In Show Details, it displays Software version, MAC Address, End User License
Agreement and Frame memory status.

User can turn on / off the screen tap sound.
Selection: ON / OFF.
8.5 Power Management
In Settings, tap
button to enter Power Management Settings Screen.

Sleep Mode
User can set Sleep Mode and the sleep time in Interval Time. During the sleep
time, the device will be turned off to save power. Press [Mode] key to wake up the
device. The alarm is still active during the sleep mode.

Press [MODE] key at the back casing to open the OSD buttons.

In all application’s setup (Photo, News, Media, Home, Clock and Calendar) and
Settings under Menu, the OSD buttons are disabled. There is no function when press
[Mode] key during that time.

Troubleshooting
This section lists various problems and solutions encountered by users while using the
Digital Picture Frame. When encountering a problem, first check the list below and follow
the suggested action if one matches your problem. If the problem still persists, contact or
visit the nearest service center.
Symptoms
The digital picture frame does not turn on.

Check the power connection between the
Digital Picture Frame and the power adapter.
The Digital Picture Frame may be in sleep
The power turns on but the screen is blank.
