Copyright © 2013 Glow Motion Technologies UK Ltd Page 2 15/10/2014 Rev:- 1.1 1. Overview 1.1. The Ghostband is a wearable wirelessly controlled LED wristband for use in the entertainment industry. Audience members wear the wristband and become part of the overall lighting scheme of a show or corporate event. 2. Operation 2.1. LEDs 2.1.1. The Ghostband module has between 2 and 5 LEDs fitted to the PCB to illuminate the wristband. The LEDs light up when they receive a command wirelessly from the stage transmitter. 2.2. Pushbutton 2.2.1. Press and hold the button for 3 seconds to power ON the Ghostband. 2.2.2. Press and hold the button for 7 seconds to power OFF the Ghostband. 2.3. Environment 2.3.1. The Ghostband is water resistant but not water proof. Do not submerge the Ghostband as this will damage the device. 3. Battery 3.1. Type 3.1.1. The Ghostband is fitted with a replaceable Alkaline AAA 1.5V battery. After use the battery should be disposed of responsibly. 3.2. Replacement 3.2.1. Remove the Ghostband module from the silicone wristband be stretching the silicon and pushing the module from the front. 3.2.2. The battery can be clearly seen now the module is removed. Remove the battery from its sprung holder and replace with the appropriate type of battery. Observe the positive/negative symbols on the bottom of the battery holder to ensure the battery is fitted correctly. 4. Wirstband 4.1. Aftercare 4.1.1. Industry Canada Statements "Under Industry Canada regulations, this radio transmitter may only operate using an antenna of a type and maximum (or lesser) gain approved for the transmitter by Industry Canada.To reduce potential radio interference to other users, the antenna type and its gain should be so chosen that the equivalent isotropically radiated power (e.i.r.p.) is not more than that necessary for successful communication."
