Caution marking and nameplate are located on back of product. BATTERY INSTALLATION The battery compartment is located on the back of the remote control. 1. Remove the battery compartment door by pressing in on the tab and lifting it off. 2. Insert two (2) AAA size batteries (not included) into the battery compartment following the polarity markings inside the battery compartment. 3. Replace the battery compartment door. 4. Battery Precautions Replacement of batteries must be done by an adult. Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries. The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited. Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged. Exhausted batteries are to be removed. Only batteries of the equivalent type are to be used. Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity. Dispose of batteries properly. Do not dispose of batteries in fire. The batteries may explode or leak. This unit should not be adjusted or repaired by anyone except qualified service personnel. Important: Since movement of the CD mechanism and the sensitive circuitry may cause interference to the radio tuner nearby, switch this unit off while operating other radio devices. Precautions for use installation Unpack all parts and remove protective material. Do not connect the unit to the mains before checking the main voltage and before all other connections have been made. Do not cover any vents and make sure that there is a space of several centimeters around the unit for ventilation. Quick guide connection Please follow the following steps and procedures to set up your music tower I) Main unit + sun-woofer connection 1 1) 2) 3) Place the main unit vertically down to the sub-woofer top as show on picture Pull the main unit backward unit the bracket hook up & tightly as show on picture Try to lift up the whole system and check whether the main unit & sub-woofer are being combined tightly. II) Wire connection 1) Connect the end of the speaker cable(RCA plug) to the speaker out jack (red & white head) (22) at the back of main unit, another Terminal connect to the speaker clip of the Speaker box back side (red color of speaker Cable to red color of speaker clip). 2) Connect one end of the RCA cable (yellow head) To the sub-woofer out jack (24) at the back of Main unit to the sub-woofer in jack (28) at the Back of the sub-woofer III) Power supply Connect the AC power cord from the main unit (25) to the AC socket(29) of Sub woofer unit and AC power cord from sub-woofer unit (27) to the main power supply from your home area. Turn on the unit by On/Off button at main unit (14) and switch on the sub-woofer (13) respectively. If the LCD display (2) and the Sub-woofer on/off indicator (13) is light up with blue light. It means the system is now ready to play the music. Setting the clock 1. 2. 3. Set unit in standby mode. Press & hold the “ Mem/Clk-adj ” button (16), the LCD display (2) will show “ 24hr ” and flashing. Press Skip up or Skip button (10) to select the appropriate area hour format (12hr/24hr). Press the “ Mem/Clk-adj ” button (16) the first down or Skip down button (10) to set the & second digit of “ 00 ” is flashing on the LCD display (2). Press Skip up correct hour. Press “ Mem/Clk-adj ” button (16) to store the correct hour. or Skip down button (10) to set the correct minutes. The third & fourth digit of “ 00 ” is flashing, press the Skip up Then press “ Mem/Clk-adj ” button (18) to store the correct minute. The clock setting mode will automatically quit if no button is being pressed in a period of about 5 seconds after pressing the “ Mem/Clk-adj ” button. The pre-set time will be re-set completely if dis-connecting the main power supply. You are recommended to switch the system into standby mode for convenience usage. Listening to radio Manual tuning 1. 2. 3. 4. Press Function button (15) to select “ Tuner ” mode. Tune to the required station by pressing the Tuning “ up “ or ” down ” button (10). Adjust Volume up/down button (3) to the desired main volume level. Adjust the sub-woofer volume control (26) to proper level match the main unit volume level. Auto tuning 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Press Function button (15) to select “ Tuner ” mode. Tune to the required station by pressing the Tuning “ up “ or ” down ” button (10) for 1-2 seconds and then release. The unit will start seeking automatically and stop until a radio station is reached. Repeat step 2 & 3 until the desired radio station is being reached. Adjust volume up/down button (3) to the desired volume level. Preset stations You can store up to 20 radio stations in the memory Set to tuner mode. 1. Turn to the desired radio station by “ manual” or “ auto ” tuning method. 2. Press the Mem/Clk-adj ” button (16) until the “ MEM ” indicator and preset station number flash on LCD display (2). 3. Press “ Folder / Pre-up button (17) to select the desired station memory for storage. 4. Press “ Mem/Clk-adj ” button (17) again to confirm the setting. 2 5. 6. Repeat step 1 to 4 to store other stations. Now you can select the presets stations in order by pressing the “Folder/Pre–up ” button (6) The pre-set memories will be cancelled completely if dis-connecting the main power supply. You are recommended to switch the system into standby mode for convenience usage. There are 5 seconds for program state, after 5 sec. This state would resume to normal tuner mode automatically. You can overwrite a present station by storing another frequency in its place. FM-stereo reception Press the “ Stop/Mono ” button (9) repeatedly, the FM programs are receiving in mono and stereo mode repeatedly. In particular when stereo signals are weak. It is preferable to receive the program in mono. If stereo signal is being received, the stereo indicator “ ” will appear on LCD display (2) to show FM stereo program is now receiving. Hints for best reception:- FM : the receiver has a build-in FM wire antenna (23) hanging at the rear cabinet. This wire should be totally unraveled and extended for the best reception. ID3 function (on remote control only) Press the “ ID3 “ button repeatedly, the LCD display (2) show “ file - … "during playback of MP3 file, the song file/album/artist name is being displayed in sequence . Press the “ ID3 ” button until display show the running time to disable the function. Remark:- In that case of no name or not supportive languages had been assigned for the track, LCD display will blank (2) when press the ID3 button. No title/album name can be recognized if the input format on the disc/mass media is not supporting by the system. The system support only English and Arabic number for ID3 function MP3 track format requirement:Bit rate : 32 kbps~320kbps, sampling rate : 32khz, 44.1khz and 48 kHz decodable The performance of playing MP3 disc is various from the quality of recording disc and the method of recording. Furthermore, the searching lead-time for MP3-CD is longer than normal CD due to difference format. Repeat/Random mode Press the “ Play mode ” button (7) during playback to select repeat and random function, a single track, all the tracks repeat or folder repeat(MP3 only) and random can be played in difference mode as follow:- 3 For CD (1) repeat 1 Play mode Repeat track Repeat all Random Off mode (2) repeat all track (3) random (4) off mode Indicator on LCD display & flashing RAN -------------- For MP3 disc/file (1) repeat 1 (2) repeat all tracks (3) repeat 1 folder (5) off mode Play mode Repeat single track Repeat all tracks Repeat single folder Random mode Off mode (4) random Indicator on LCD display & flashing RAN Repeat play You can listen the desired track or whole disc repeat by this function. Random play You can listen all the tracks in a random order by this function CD programming Up to 20 tracks can be programmed for disc play in any order. Before use, be sure to press the “ Stop ” button (9). 1. Set in CD mode & stop the CD playback. 2. Press the “ Mem/Clk-adj ” button (16) and “ MEM ” will appear on LCD display (2). or down button (10). 3. Select a desired track by pressing Skip up 4. The programming mode will automatically stop if no button is being pressed in a period of about 10 seconds after pressing the “Mem/Clk-adj ” button. Bluetooth connecting and playback 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Press the Function button (15) to select “ BLUETOOTH(BT) ” mode. The Bluetooth LED indicator (20) will flashing, it means the Bluetooth in non connection / searching mode. Switch on the Bluetooth feature of your Bluetooth device(such as mobile phone) and select “BT9201MO” Bluetooth equipment to connecting. Once the connecting was finish and connect successfully, the Bluetooth LED (20) will change to light up. Start to playback your Bluetooth device and enjoy the music by the main unit. Aux 1 in for small portable device 1. Press the Function button (15) to select “ Aux 1 ” mode. 2. Connect your small portable device such as MP3 player, mobile phone…etc to the Aux 1 in 3.5mm plug (11) and place your device on the holder (12). 3. Start to playback your portable device and adjust the volume level properly to enjoy the music by the system. 4 Aux 2 in connection 1. Press the Function button (16) to select Aux 2 mode. 2. Connect another audio device, e.g. DVD player, VCR player, etc. to this system via a cord with RCA plug. 3. Connect one end of this cord to line out jack on the external device and the other end to the aux-in jack (21) on the back of the unit. 4. Start to playback your home audio device and adjust the volume level properly to enjoy the music by the system. More features (ALL OF BELOW FEATURE ONLY CAN OPERATE BY REMOTE CONTROL ONLY) A. Sleep function 1. 2. Press “ Sleep ” button “SLP-90 “ will shown on the LCD display (2). Keep pressing the button to adjust the sleep timer in the order of 90 > 80 > 70 >….10 minutes respectively and sleep icon “ ” will indicate on LCD (1). 3. System will stop and go to standby mode automatically after running the selected time. 4. To cancel the sleep mode, press “ Sleep ” button until “SLP-off’ displayed and the “ “ indicator disappear on LCD display. B. Alarm clock setting This function allows the system to turn on automatically and wake you up by CD , Tuner, mode respectively. Press and hold the “ Alarm ” button to enter the alarm setting mode, the first two digits of clock will flashing with alarm icon “ / down ” button to set the hour & then press “ Alarm ” button again to confirm. Then press Skip up “. Press Skip up ” button to set the minutes & press “ Alarm “ button to confirm the alarm time, press Skip up / down ” down button to select wake up mode & press “ Alarm “ button to confirm. Then press Volume up/down button to adjust the wake up volume level. Press the “ Alarm “ button to complete the alarm setting. Remark: If there is no music source being detected (CD) when the preset time is reached, system will default to “ Tuner ” function for wake up mode automatically. The system will preset at the latest radio frequency being listened before switching off For tuner wake up, the system will preset at the latest radio frequency being listened before switching off. There are about 4 seconds for alarm setting mode, this system will return to normal mode automatically if no keys being pressed in this time frame. During the alarm on mode, press the “Power on/Standby “ button will switch off the system. Active/de-active timer function 1. To active the alarm function, press the “ Alarm ” button repeatedly until the alarm indicator “ display (2). 2. To cancel alarm function by press again “ Alarm” button until the alarm indicator “ ” is shown on LCD ” disappear. C. Mute function Press to terminate the sound output from speaker temporarily and press again to resume normal playback. D. Pre-set EQ function This unit provides 4 differences sound mode to enhance your listening experience. You can select the desired effect by pressing the “ preset EQ ” button repeatedly at following sequence:- Flat Classic Rock Pop Jazz E. Display function For convenience usage, press “ Display/ID3 “ button when system is on at any mode, the LCD display (2) will show the current time. F. Snooze function During the alarm on mode, press “ Snooze “ button once to terminate the alarm mode temporarily, and system will re-start again after 9 minutes on each press.
