We cannot replace or return the product after acceptance under any condition! NOTE After unwrapping the protective shipping wraps and straps have someone assist you with opening the box and lifting the model out of the box. Do not attempt to do this by yourself as damage to the model may occur! Before lifting the model out of the box locate the boat stand parts on the side of the box where it usually sits between the packaging foam and the cardboard and assemble it. Carefully lift the model out of the box and place it on the boat stand. Make sure that there is plenty of clear space around the boat stand before placing to model on it. The model superstructure and hull are strapped together for shipping purposes. The straps need to be removed by carefully cutting them until all straps have been removed. Connections Each of the superstructures of the Udaloy can be removed for access to the electronics. The superstructures are already wired to the radar motors and navigation lights. A single wire with a JST connector powers both the motors and lights and is connected to a power wire extender with JST plugs that connects to the electrical switching module. NOTE The operating voltage on the Udaloy for the radar motors and lights is 3V. Exceeding that voltage will most likely cause damage to the lights or motors. Always use the supplied switching module. The Udaloy comes with a 30A waterproof ESC with a built in BEC. The BEC can provide power to the receiver, steering servo and 2 turret servos’. If you plan to use more electronics with your receiver or think you will be overloading the BEC with excessive use of the servos we recommend installing a separate BEC or power source to avoid overloading the existing BEC. Always consult the Udaloy wiring diagram if you plan to make any changes to your setup. Page 5 of 7 Maintenance The product requires regular care and maintenance.
