IMPORTANT
You must activate your Lively system,
at app.mylively.com/start, in order to set up the
safety watch. During the activation process,
you will receive a test emergency phone call.
Once activated, your safety watch must
maintain a constant connection to the Lively hub
at home, or be paired on-the-go with a
smartphone, for emergency-response use.

Lively is much more than a traditional emergency
response “button.” Of course, Lively is there when
you need to summon help at the push of the button.
But we wanted your safety watch to be useful—
and fun—for all aspects of your active lifestyle.
We started with a fashionable watch that you can
customize and accessorize to fit your personality.
With smart medication reminders, the safety watch
notifies you only when you might have missed taking
medication or vitamins. And the watch includes a
pedometer for simple step-counting to help you measure
how active you are being throughout the day.

Tip: After a new battery has been
installed, the safety watch will re-activate
once it is within range of the Lively hub.

Installing the battery
• Remove the Lively safety watch and
battery from its packaging.
• Insert the coin battery (standard Li-Ion
battery, CR-2032) into the watch.
• Using a coin, twist the back cover
firmly to close it. This is important to
ensure waterproofing.

Activating the watch
• Make sure the safety watch is near the
Lively hub for activation.
• Make sure you have completed the
online Lively activation process up to
the “Activate system” step.
• Follow the on-screen instructions
to activate the watch.
During this process, you will perform
a test of the help button and receive a
phone call from the Lively Care Team.
If you do not currently have online access
via a computer or tablet, please call the
Lively Care Team at 888-757-0711.
• After you have completed activation
and successfully received a test phone
call, your watch will be ready for use!

Note: The Lively safety watch will
not function until you complete the
activation process.
Tip: At a minimum, we recommend
testing your help button when you
replace the battery. Just press the
button to test the response of Lively’s
Care Team. Once you receive a
confirmation phone call in response,
let Lively know you’re ok and there’s
no need for assistance.

Pushing the help button
Lively Safety Watch
• Your safety watch must be connected to
the Lively hub or paired on-the-go with
your smartphone for emergency response
use. See page 12 to pair with a smartphone.
• If you need assistance, press the help
button.
• The Lively Care Team will call you at the
phone number you provided during the
initial setup of Lively. You can update this
phone number by visiting app.mylively.com
from a computer or tablet.
Tip: The watch’s range of use in the
home or the yard is up to 1,500 ft., when
unobstructed.
Important: Lively is not a substitute for 9-1-1. In the event of a critical emergency, always contact
9-1-1 immediately. By subscribing to the Lively service, you accept, without limitation or qualification,
the Lively Terms and Conditions.

• The watch will display the following while the
phone call is being placed to you. >>
• If you do not answer the telephone, or if you
request emergency services while talking to a
Lively Care Team member, emergency services
will be dispatched.
Note: Emergency services will be dispatched
to the address you provided during the initial
setup of Lively. To update your home address,
visit app.mylively.com
• The watch will display the following while help
is on the way. >>

Receiving medication
reminders
• With Lively’s safety watch and pillbox activity sensors,
you will be reminded automatically whenever you’ve
missed taking your medication.
• Set up medication notifications during the activation
process, or go to app.mylively.com and choose Settings >
Set Notifications. Simply choose when you want to take
medication, and start receiving notifications.
• If the pillbox sensors do not detect movement during
the window of time when the medicine should be taken,
our Lively system automatically sends a helpful reminder
to the watch. >>
Lively Safety Watch
• The medication reminder will repeat once after fifteen
minutes, unless the pillbox sensor has registered
movement, indicating the medication has been taken.
• If medication does not register as taken by the end of
the allotted time, notifications will be sent to the Circle
members who have been set up to receive them.

Having fun with step-counting
Lively Safety Watch
• Your Lively safety watch also includes
a pedometer to keep track of your steps,
wherever you are, throughout the day.
• Activity is sent to the Lively hub
approximately every 15 minutes,
when you are in the home, and when
you return from being away.
• To see how many steps you take each
day, simply tap on the edge of the watch
face to see your latest activity.
• You and your family can see step activity
by using a Lively smartphone app or visiting
app.mylively.com on a computer or tablet.

Using the safety watch with
a smartphone
• Connecting your Lively safety watch to a smartphone
enables 24/7 help outside the home.
• To use the watch with a smartphone, download
the Lively app and sign in. Smartphone use
requires Bluetooth LE and GPS; please go to
support.mylively.com and search “smartphones”
to find a list of supported phones.
In order for the alert button to work, your watch
must be within range of the phone. Your watch
screen will confirm connection. >>
• 911 services will be dispatched to the GPS location
automatically provided by your phone, unless you
confirm help is not needed.

Customizing your Lively
safety watch
The Lively safety watch can be customized
by logging in at app.mylively.com from a computer
or tablet. Choose Settings > Safety Watch.
In settings you can:
• Pick analog or digital watch display
• Turn on/o vibration of the watch
• Turn on/o medication reminders
Visit Settings at app.mylively.com to see more
customization options.

Using Lively’s custom
watch band
We hope you enjoy the elegant custom watch band from
Lively. We’ve taken great care to design a watch that
provides the ultimate comfort, convenience and durability.
Features of our custom band include:
• Wide-body bands made of super soft-touch silicone
• Waterproof and washable
• Oversized holes for easy adjustments
Feel free to replace the Lively band with your own favorite
band, as long as it has a standard width (20mm).

IMPORTANTE
Para configurar el reloj pulsera de seguridad, debe
activar su sistema Lively, en app.mylively.com/start.

Cómo recibir los recordatorios
de medicamentos
• Con el reloj pulsera de seguridad y los sensores de
actividad del pastillero de Lively, usted recibirá un
recordatorio automático cada vez que no tome sus
medicamentos.
• Configure las notificaciones de medicamentos durante
el proceso de activación, o vaya a app.mylively.com y elija
Configuración > Configurar notificaciones. Simplemente
elija cuándo quiere tomar los medicamentos y comenzar
a recibir las notificaciones.
• Si los sensores del pastillero no detectan movimiento
alguno durante el lapso de tiempo en que debe tomarse
el medicamento, nuestro sistema Lively envía
automáticamente al reloj un recordatorio. >>

• El recordatorio de medicamentos se repetirá una
vez cada quince minutos, a menos que el sensor del
pastillero haya registrado algún movimiento, lo que
indica que el medicamento se ha tomado.
• Si no se registra ninguna toma de medicamentos al
final del tiempo asignado, se enviarán notificaciones
a los integrantes del Círculo que se hayan configurado
para recibirlas.

• Su reloj de seguridad Lively también incluye
un podómetro para contar sus pasos, donde
quiera que se encuentre, a lo largo del día.
• Se enviará actividad al centro de actividad
Lively cada 15 minutos aproximadamente,
cuando esté en el hogar y cuando regrese
luego de su salida.
• Para ver cuántos pasos da cada día,

reciente.

con un teléfonos inteligentes
• Conectar su reloj de seguridad Lively a un teléfonos
