This component has been granted modular approval by the FCC and Industry Canada. The
module may not be modified from its original design, including but not limited to component
changes, Shield Changes, Antenna Changes, or PCB layout changes.
The device should only be connected in your device using the provided connection points on the
module.
The device should not be installed in a host system containing another transmitter. An
assessment of the RF exposure condition in any host system containing another transmitter must
be performed, with an appropriate filing the FCC.
Host product labeling requirements:
1. Host product label must have the following: “Contains FCC ID: PAV05358“ and
“Contains IC: 6384A-PRT05358“
Manual statements - The followings regulatory statements must appear in the user’s manual
documentation of the host device.
FCC 2-part statement: “This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject
to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this
device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired
operation.”
“Modifications not approved by <<insert host company name>> could void the user’s authority to
operate the device.”
Industry Canada statements:
“This device complies with Industry Canada license-exempt RSS standard(s). Operation is subject
to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this
device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired
operation.”
French language version (must also be included): “Cet appareil est conforme avec Industrie
Canada exempts de licence standard RSS (s). Son fonctionnement est soumis aux deux
conditions suivantes: (1) cet appareil ne doit pas provoquer d'interférences nuisibles, et (2) cet

Industry Canada statements (continued):
IC statement concerning using the correct antenna: “Under Industry Canada regulations, this radio
transmitter may only operate using an antenna of a type and maximum (or lesser) gain approved
for this transmitter by Industry Canada. To reduce potential radio interference to other users, the
antenna type and its gain should be so chosen that the equivalent isotropically radiated power
(e.i.r.p.) is not more than necessary for successful communication.”
French translation: “Conformément à la réglementation d'Industrie Canada, cet émetteur radio ne
peut fonctionner à l'aide d'une antenne d'un type et maximum (ou moins) Gain approuvé pour cet
émetteur par Industrie Canada. Pour réduire le risque d'interférence avec d'autres utilisateurs, le
type d'antenne et son gain doivent être choisis afin que la puissance isotrope rayonnée
