iTRIP QUICK START (Mac)
0 lnserttne included iTrip CD-Rom rnto your Mac.
Launch and run the iTrip lnstallor.All necessaryfiles
are now instailed rnto iTunes.
9 Connect and sync your iPod with iTunestThis will
transfer the newly created iTrip Stations playlist and
flies into your iPod
9 Properly disconnect the FireWire cable and firmly
attach the iTrip into tlre headphone rock oflhe iPod
The blue LED on the iTrip wlII light up to confirm that
it is plugged in and ready to broadcast your music.
The iTrip IS preset to 87.9 on your FM radio.To select
your own StationrfOHOW the instructions that
contlnue inside this booklet.
iTRIP QUICK START (PC)
0 insert the included iTrip CbcRom into your PC.The iTrip
installer should begin automaticallyifthis does not happen,
simply run the Setup.EXE file located on the iTrip CD—Rom.
Thls will install all necessary files into Musicivlatch.
Q Connectand sync your lPod with MusicMatch.This wlli
transfer the newly created iTtip stations playlist and files into
your iPod.
9 Properly disconnect the FlreWire cable and firmly attach
the lTr'lp into the headphone jack of the iPod.The blue LED on
the iTrip will light up to confirm that it is plugged in and ready
to broadcast your music.
The rTrio is preset to 37.9 on your FM radio.To select your own
stationifollow the instructions that continue inside this booklet
The iTiip can broadcast [0 any spot on any FM Stereo Scan your PM dial to find
the area that has the least amount of rad'lo stallolls.Thell follow these simple
steps to set your ‘iTrip to broadcast to a flequency ‘in that area.

9 Highlight the chosen frequency and click the puw button on your lPod.

its frequency successfully.

TURNING THE LED ‘OFF’ OR ‘ON’ / inin statinns
To turn the status LED on the front of the iTnp OFF,
navigate to the bottom of the iTlip stations playlist and
select ”LED off". Then fol low these two simple steps.
0 Click the PLAY button on your iPod.
6 When the blue LED begins to rapidly blink,dick the PLAY button again The
LED will pulse three times slowlyto confirm the min has received the command.
The LED will remain offuntil you changefrequencles. lt will turn on to give you
visual leedback during the procedureiand then turn olfagain.
To tum the status LED on,select “LED on" at the bottom of the iTrip Stations
playlist, and follow the two steps Ilsted above
TURNING THE iTRIP OFF
The iTrip never needs to be turned off, It (urns off automatically if no music is
present for 60 seconds It turns back on when any music comes from the iPod.
CHARGING YOUR iPOD WHILE usms THE iTRIP
To charge your iPod while your ITer is in use, simply lift and rotate the iTrip a
quarter tum counter—clockwlse. Reconnect the ‘lTrip perpendlcularto the iPod by
pushing down until the LED comes on This exposes the Firerre port for charging.
iTRIP TROUBLESHOOTING
The iTrip LED won't come on or wake up from sleep.
Reconnect the iTrip,pushing down firmlyto make sure it’s solidly connected to
the lPod.When the LED lrghts.the ITr'Ip is connected correctly.
I tried to change frequencies on the iTrip. but it didn'twork.
check your iPod‘s volumerhe level needs to be between 40% . 30% for the
frequency change to work correctly. Check and adjust the volume selling before
choosing a newfreouency.
Alsorbe sure that you click the PLAV button twice to change frequencies.0nce to
choose the frequency and then a second time when the blue LED begins to blink
rapidlyThe LED will pulse three times to confirm the frequency change.

The iTrip works best when tuned to the clearest frequency possible. Make sure
the frequency you chose doesn’t have a strong radio stat‘lon close to it. ll it does,
try to find a clearer frequency range,
