DESCRIPTION:
The AT-5BLF Active Label is an RFID tag used for locating, tracking, and protecting equipment
and other assets that require an ultra-low profile tag with a small footprint. The tag can be mounted
to almost any flat surface, including metal surfaces, using a double-sided adhesive label, without
significant degradation in performance.
The tag regularly transmits beacon messages using its UHF transmitter, which are received by
GuardRFID Tag Readers. Argus Server process the tag transmissions to generate presence and
long-range location data. Tags also contain a low-frequency receiver that instantly detects LF
fields generated by GuardRFID Exciters installed at critical security zones or other locations of
interest.
The tag has an integrated motion sensor that can be used to trigger alarms on movement, and
which increases the beacon rate when the tag is in motion. A temperature sensor allows
monitoring of ambient temperature between -30º to +50º Celsius.
The AT-5 tag features an optical tamper sensor on the underside, enabling it to detect and alert
users when it is detached from its asset. Use the tag to protect high-value assets that may be
targeted for theft with the knowledge that thieves cannot remove the tag without raising an alarm.
