Chrome Remote Control How to use the remote control You can use the remote control that comes with your Chrome system trom any direction, when the remote control is within 20 leet oi the receiver. The unique pairing of the remote control with the receiver allows more than one Chrome system to be used in the vicinity of other Chrome systems The provided remote control and receiver are paired before delivery The remote control is powered by a small battery The battery will last for approximately one year under normal daily operation When the battery has depleted, instructions are provided in this guide to replace the battery. The following table describes the most common functions ofthe buttons on the remote control provided with your Chrome system Some buttons have more than one tunction, depending on what is displayed on the display at the time you press the button Remote Control navigation Press the Mute button to mute your microphone @ Press the HangrUp button to end the meeting or call @ Press the Menu Key to display the toolbar buttons (only available within a call) La ) Press the Select button (in the middle ot the D»Pad) to select the currently highlighted display element. Len or Right arrow keys to highlight an on»display elements Press the Menu key to display the toolbar buttons (only available within a call) Replace Remote Control Battery Follow these steps to remove and replace the battery olttle remote control: 1. é.“ Locate the narrow end of the remote control with the battery compartment It will be the end that has an open slot to fit a screwdriver. Place a small flat head screwdriver in the slot of the battery compartment and slowiy lilt the screwdriver toward the front olttle remote control (away from the keyboard side). The battery holder will pop-outjust enough to easily extract the holder with lingers. Remove the depleted battery fromthe battery holder, Replace with a new CR2032 battery. Minus (-) side of the battery will be up. There is only one way for the battery to easily (it into the battery holder. Align the battery holder with the battery compartment of the remote eontroi and push into place. Battery holder will be iuiiy contained within the remete eentrel when correctly in position.
