NewFI Mobile Quick Start Guide1.Download and InstallationoNavigate to App Store on iOS devices or Google Play store on Android devices and search for ‘NewFI Mobile’.oFollow the instructions on the device in order to download and install ‘NewFI Mobile’ app on your device.oMake sure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device.oPower the Bluetooth module either using the USB connector or by connecting to the appliance.2.IPhone/ IPad pairing to diagnostic toolTo pair IPhones/IPads to diagnostic tool (Bluetooth Module), navigate to Bluetooth settings.oThe Bluetooth module broadcasts as ‘GE Service’.oThis signal is visible on the Bluetooth settings screen.oSelect “GE Service” from “OTHER DEVICES”.o“GE Service” will show in “MY DEVICES” as ‘Connected’.oThis indicates the Bluetooth module has been paired and connected to the phone.3.RegistrationoOpen the NewFI Mobile AppoClick on ‘Non GEA Employee’.oFirst Time users, click on the “Register” tab to register a new account.oEnter Email Address, Password, Country and Language and click on Register tab.o“Register New Account Almost Done” message is displayed.oAn Email will be sent to the account you registered with.oConfirm the email address.o“Congratulations!” message is displayed after confirming the email address.oYour first attempt to login will result in a “Access Denied” message.oYou must request access.4.Access RequestoOpen the App and attempt to log in for the first time with the email and password you just used to register.oWhen you first log in “Access Denied” message is displayed.oClick on the “Request Access” tab.o“Access Request Submitted” message is displayed.oRequest will be approved within 24 hours.oAttempt to login again after 24 hours.5.LoginoOpen the App and select “Non GEA Employee”.oClick on “hci_iap2” in IOS and/or “GE Service” in Android.99-3000067   01-30   GEA
