PAL-100/PAL-100R fast getting started Read this chapter to learn about PAL-100/PAL-100R features, how to use the controls, and more. 1. The description of appearance
2. main keystroke ① Power button：Long press the power button to start up;after the machine being turned on,tap the power button to turn off the monitor,and the machine enters the alert status; when the screen is unlock,long press the power button,then the system will pop up shutdown/restart dialoge box.Long press the power button to 12s, the machine will start up directly and reset the time and date. ② Menu button: press the menu button to open menu option. ③ main screen button: main screen is the key interface logged in after the machine being turned on, that is the normal state without opening any software feature. Press the main screen button, close the menu or the application procedure, then return to main screen. Long press the main screen button, it will display the application procedure used recently, and user can open the application procedure needed through spot press the
crresponding button. ④ Return button: Press the return button to return or cancel operation. ⑤ headphone jack：The machine, equipped with 3.5mm standard headphone jack ,make it easy for users to use all kinds of headphones in professional levels. ⑥ Micro USB: The USB port ,support hot-swappable, can transfer data through connect ing with the other computers with USB cable. ⑦ Expansion card slot: It applies to Micro SD/TF.It can be used to store personal data,such as digital photos、MP3、games， applications for machine , personal data, and so on. ⑧ Power interface: The machine connects to the charger ,and charge itself through this interface. ⑨ Record hole: it can be used to input and record speech and sound ⑩ Loudspeaker(left and right):The machine turn it up and spread sound by loudspeaker. ⑪ Volumes up-and-down: With this button to adjust volume,and realize the volume raising and lowering. ⑫ Reset hole:Reset is used to reboot your system after the crush.Users can fit in needle and push to realize system reset. ⑬ Front camera/rear-mounted camera: Through Front camera or rear-mounted camera, the machine can realize the fouction to make pictures、record videos and internet video.（rear-mounted camera only equipped for PAL-100R ） Other functions built into ： Photo sensor: it can automatically adjust brightness of the screen according to the intensity of the light to protect your eyes. Digital compass: through this to show directions. Bluetooth: to satisfy the demands to transferring files in many occasions. 3 Power on and off.
Power on: When the battery capacity is sufficient, Users can press down the power button directly(2s) to start up, then go into the lockscreen. Power off: Long press the power button (2s),the system will pop up equipment selection dialogue box, select shutdown, then system will then pop up OK to shutdown option, choose OK you can shut down. 4 Unlock the screen. Unlock the screen from the outset, press on the icon and drag to left or right to enter main interface. 5.OS(Android 2.2) The machine carried with Android2.2 smart OS can support Flash10.1 6. How to use Memory card The machine support Micro SD/TF memory card expanding, You can use memory card to Preserve the multimedia documents such as picture, music, the video, the document, and so on. Insert memory card: Insert memory card to the card slot. Use finger to put the card into the slot upper the screen will prompt: SD card is ready. A glance at the file in the memory card: Run the “file browser”, showing all the files under the root directory, Slect “extsd”open to browse the contents of Cary. Remove memory card. Closes all the documents opened from the card ;Enter the menu→settings →Micro SD/TF and the device storage, click “unload the Micro SD/TF”， the system will prompt “Micro SD/TF has been removed safetly”;Please press down the card lightly, the card will spring one section, take it out; upper the left corner will prompt“Sdcard has been removed”。 Note： ① insert the card to the right position, otherwise it will damage the card. ② Don’t draw out the memory card forcefully before not having “unload the
Micro SD/TF”, otherwise it will damage the card. ③ Don’t insert and remove the card repeatedly in a short time. It may cause the card damaged. 7．USB connection The equipment can connect to the computer, and then copy the files. If the equipment has the memory card, it will display two disks after connecting to the computer . One is the memory card the device owns; the other is the internal storage for equipment. Connect: ① Connect one interface of the USB cable to the equipment USB, the other interface connects to computer's USB connection; ② click the menu →USB connection; After popping up tip box , click “ open USB storage device” . ③ Now the device has been connected with the computer, then going to my computer under the removable disk ,user can copy files among the internal device storage,SD card and the computers. Turn off: Click the menu→turn off USB storage, and then click “turn off ” after the pop-up box, user can disconnect the device and the computer .or through click the removable disk icon, select the security delete ,user also can disconnect the device and the computer. 8. battery charge
PAL-100 has an internal charge battery. We suggest to charge up the battery when the battery power is low. One end of the USB power adapter connecting the socket, and the other end of the power adapter connecting the socket of the PAL-100/PAL-100R,then the PAL-100/PAL-100R can be charged. the way to charge battery: 1. Plug in the power adapter, the status bar will indicate charging . 2. When the battery is fully charged , take out the battery charger plug from the pad,and draw out another plug from the power socket. 3.During Battery Charging,user can operate PAL-100/PAL-100R. 9. Standby time
The primary factors that influence standby time include: wireless network signal, screen luminance, screen standby time, internet, picture , video broadcast and game. You can lengthen standby time by setting up lower screen luminance, shorter screen standby time, the closure background and sync automatically. 10. Notice  Please do not place objects on the touch screen surface,it may be scratched or crushed.  Please keep the pad off the water or liquid.  Please do not expose the pad under the direct solarization, or lay it away from the heat source.  Please do not jam its port (hole), the air vent ,etc, and do not insert the other matter in the pad.  Please do not expose the pad in the high magnetic field.  Please don’t shake the pad excessively.

(Example- use only shielded interface cables when connecting to computer or peripheral devices). 12. RF warning statement The device has been evaluated to meet general RF exposure requirement. The device can be used in portable exposure condition without restriction.
