CLIENT PAGER PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS
General Product Features and Specifications. All Devices shall have the following features and
meet the following specifications.
1. User Interface and alerts
a. Default alert to be Vibe/Flash
b. Must be able to change to Vibe/Flash or Chirp/Flash at PPS level
c.
Stand by status - shows no LED's,
d. When Client pager is sent a message an 4/8/16/12 seconds vibe/flash LED will
stay on until button is pushed 1 second.
e. Reminder vibe will continue to alert every 0/30/60 seconds for 2 seconds until
button is pushed 1second.
f.
To stop the reminder alert, pager button is pushed 1second. This will discontinue
the vibe but the LED's will remain on
g. To stop the All LED or the reminder and all LED, hold the button for 3 seconds.
After that go to stand by status.
h. All LED’s on, No Vibe–signifies pager has been paged and reminder has been
turned off

To turn pager back on and ready, hit button once and the all LED’s will flash 1
second to let you know it is working.
j.
When battery is low - Low Battery LED will turn on

We are not requiring this pager be UL approved
l.
MUST be approved by the FCC
2. Capcode Specifications
a. Numeric – minimum of 2 (1 primary address and 1 additional address)
3. Barcode
a. Must be readable by a 2 dimensional scanner
b. Barcode must have the ability to be scanned without obstruction from the holster
or clip
4. Pager Programming Software
a. Compatible with Windows 2000/XP/ME
b. Supplier will provide ten (10) sets of programming stations including accessories
as follows at no charge with additional quantities to be purchased by VWMS at
Supplier’s cost with the first purchase order of 5,000 units;
i. Interface and cables
ii. Cradles
iii. Software
5. Physical Specs:
a. Paddle should be 5 1/2 inches long + the length of the pager
b. Agreed on a blue plastics color
c.
Only change from picture provided is “Low Batt” should be “Low Battery” and
written as an arch
d. “Low Battery” will be embossed on the pager
e. Button needs to be recessed so that it is flat with the face of the pager to
decrease the chance of the pager accidentally being turned off.
