CAUTION
This pump has been designed
for use with water only.
WARNING
IMPORTANT! For your own safety – before
starting to run the pump, please have the
following items checked by an expert:
1. Risk of electric shock – This pump is supplied
with a grounding conductor and grounding-
type attachment connector. To reduce the risk
of electric shock, connect only to a properly
grounded, grounding-type receptacle.
2. Risk of electric shock – This pump is not
designed for use in swimming pools.
3. The electrical connections must
be protected from moisture.
4. Circulation of caustic uids, as well as
the circulation of abrasive materials,
must be avoided at all costs.
5. The pump must be protected from frost.
6. The pump must be protected from running dry.
7. Access by children should also be
prevented with appropriate measures.
8. This pump is intended to reduce the effects
of nuisance bilge water only and is not
designed to prevent sinking in the event of
leakage. Never leave a boat unattended or
take a boat away from shore with a leak.
9. Install with a secondary back-up bilge
pump and oat switch (sold separately)
wired separately to prevent ooding
if the rst bilge pump fails.
10. To prevent re, only install on 12VDC
power supply protected by 15A fuse.
11. WARNING: Handling the Cords on this
product will expose you to lead, a chemical
known to the State of California to cause
cancer, and birth defects or other reproductive
harm. Wash hands after handling. (California
Health & Safety Code § 25249.5, et seq.)
12. The warnings, precautions, and instructions
discussed in this instruction manual cannot
cover all possible conditions and situations
that may occur. It must be understood by
the operator that common sense and caution
are factors which cannot be built into this
product, but must be supplied by the operator.
Fluid Type
The Pump is designed for use with water with a
maximum temperature of 77° F (25°C).
Do not use the pump for other uids, especially not
fuels, cleaning uids, or other chemical products.

Installation
This pump must be installed in
a stationary position.
Please note!
1. Do not install the pump by suspending it
unsupported from the discharge hose or wires.
Place the pump on the bottom of the bilge.
2. Depress the tabs on each side of the
bilge pump and remove the screen.
WARNING! Verify that installation
surface has no hidden utility lines
before drilling or driving screws.
Do not drill through the bottom of the boat.

3. Choose the area to install the bilge pump and
use appropriate hardware (not included) to
secure the screen to the bottom of the bilge.
4. Connect the pump to the screen with the tabs.
5. Install the pump with an automatic oat
switch, power switch, and fuse (none
included) to prevent damage to the pump.

Operation
After reading these instructions, consider the
following points before starting the pump:
1. Verify that the pump rests on
the bottom of the bilge.
2. Verify that the discharge hose is
properly connected. A smooth bore
discharge hose is recommended.
3. Verify that the electrical connection
is a 12 VDC battery.
4. Wiring that may be exposed to moisture
should be sealed with heat shrink tubing.
5. Verify that water and moisture cannot
get near the power supply.
WARNING! If the wire insulation or housing is
damaged, do not use the pump. Repairs should
be done by a electrician to maintain waterproong.
6. Verify that the pump is installed
to prevent dry running.
7. To ensure that the pump works properly,
keep the bottom of the bilge
free from dirt and debris.
Monthly Maintenance
TO PREVENT INJURY FROM ACCIDENTAL OPERATION:
Disconnect Pump from battery before maintenance.
Note: Maintain more frequently in dirty conditions.
1. Clean sludge and debris from
the bottom of the bilge.
2. Rinse the housing off with clean water.
3. Depress the tabs on the sides of the
pump and remove the Screen.
4. Clean the impeller with clean water.
To prevent damage, do not rest the pump
on the impeller or pry on the impeller.
5. Reassemble in reverse order.
Troubleshooting

Follow all safety precautions whenever diagnosing or servicing the tool.

OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS
OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES
OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS.
To take advantage of this warranty, the product
or part must be returned to us with transportation
charges prepaid. Proof of purchase date and an
explanation of the complaint must accompany the
merchandise. If our inspection veries the defect,
we will either repair or replace the product at our
election or we may elect to refund the purchase
price if we cannot readily and quickly provide
you with a replacement. We will return repaired
products at our expense, but if we determine
there is no defect, or that the defect resulted from
causes not within the scope of our warranty, then
you must bear the cost of returning the product.
