UNPACKING
When unpacking, check to make sure all the parts shown on the Parts List on page 8
are included. If any parts are missing or broken, please call Harbor Freight Tools at the
number shown on the cover of this manual as soon as possible.

ASSEMBLY AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE: For additional information regarding the parts listed in the following pages, refer
to the Assembly Diagram on page 9.
Warning! Always make sure the Power Cord of the Fan is unplugged from its electrical
outlet prior to making any adjustments to the fan.
Warning! To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not use this fan with any solidstate speed control device.

ASSEMBLY
1.	

Attach the two Wheels (10) to the Drum (3) using three Bolts (11) per Wheel.

2.	

Assemble the Base (12) to the Drum (3) using the four Bolts (11).

3.	

Inspect the fully assembled fan with it resting on its wheels and the base.	
IMPORTANT: The Pads at the bottom of the Base MUST sit flat on the floor.
If they do not, remove the Base (12), turn it 180°, and reinstall it.

OPERATION
1.	

Situate the Fan in a dry location out of children’s reach and away from normal
room traffic.

2.	

Plug in the Power Cord (8).

3.	

Set the Control (7) to either LOW or HIGH, depending on your preference.

4.	

When finished, set the Control (7) to OFF.

INSPECTION, MAINTENANCE, AND CLEANING
1.

WARNING! Make sure the Control (7) of the Fan is in its “OFF” position
and that the Fan is unplugged from its electrical outlet before performing any
inspection, maintenance, or cleaning procedures.

2.

BEFORE EACH USE, inspect the general condition of the Fan. Check for
loose screws, misalignment or binding of moving parts, cracked or broken
parts, damaged electrical wiring, and any other condition that may affect its safe
operation. If abnormal noise or vibration occurs, have the problem corrected
before further use.
Do not use damaged equipment.

3.

Periodically, check to see that the Blade (4) has no dirt or debris accumulating on
its surface. If necessary, use compressed air to clean the unit.

4.

Before each use, check that the Power Cord (8) has no tears, frays, or cracks. Do
not use the Fan if you find any irregularities. Contact a qualified service technician.

from defects in materials and workmanship for the period of 90 days from the date of
purchase. This warranty does not apply to damage due directly or indirectly, to misuse,
abuse, negligence or accidents, repairs or alterations outside our facilities, criminal
activity, improper installation, normal wear and tear, or to lack of maintenance. We
shall in no event be liable for death, injuries to persons or property, or for incidental,
contingent, special or consequential damages arising from the use of our product.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential
damages, so the above limitation of exclusion may not apply to you. THIS WARRANTY
IS EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED,
