The Magic Chalkline Hilti PR 16 rotating laser Simply the better line. For alignment in horizontal, vertical and inclined planes, setting out and transferring right angles. Simply practical The fully-automatic Hilti PR16 rotating laser comes into its own in indoor applications, particularly where conventional, traditional measuring equipment is presently used. With the Hilti PR16 rotating laser, many of these everyday tasks can be carried out by a single person in only a fraction of the time previously taken. Quite simply, this tool makes alignment in horizontal, vertical and inclined planes at a distance of up to 150 metres, as well as setting out and transferring right angles and measuring points, easier than ever before. Save even more time and money with the PR16’s new “smart scan” function! At distances of up to more than 30 metres, with the aid of only a simple beam catcher plate, the laser beam can be stopped at the desired point where it is then conveniently projected as an easily visible line Versatility all round Dependable ■ Even when knocked off level by an impact or vibration, the horizontal and vertical monitoring system and shock cut-out prevent the transfer of incorrect readings. Versatile One person can quickly and easily align horizontal, vertical and inclined planes or transfer measuring points at right angles. ■ Variable speed of rotation for a wide range of indoor applications and optimal beam visibility up to 30 metres. ■ Convenient Setting up is straightforward and convenient as the PR16 levels itself automatically (±5° vertically and horizontally) for reliable accuracy. ■ Conventional batteries provide power for up to 80 hours. ■ Simple Thanks to its self-explanatory control panel, working with the Hilti PR16 is very straightforward. ■ Measuring and aligning jobs that previously required several persons can be carried out more easily and more quickly by one person. ■ Efficiency counts! Hilti PR16: simple + efficient Traditional methods: complicated + costly Vertical alignment of pipes and ducts in plumbing, heating and air conditioning installations Horizontal alignment for electrical installations Alignment at right angles for drywall installations Installation of conveyor belts on an incline Hilti rotating lasers Ideal for indoor and outdoor applications Hilti PR16: Practical and versatile Hilti PR60: Simple and robust For alignment in horizontal, vertical and inclined planes and transferring right angles. The Hilti PR16’s innovative beam catcher stops the beam and then projects it as a reference line – without need for a remote control unit. Both hands remain free. The Hilti PR60 is specially designed for levelling work in outdoor applications. This robust tool is sealed to prevent the entry of dust and water and is equipped with an outstanding vibration absorption system. Hilti PR16 rotating laser Hilti PR 60 rotating laser ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ Mainly for indoor applications For short- to medium-distance work High accuracy Laser class 2: red, easily visible Applications Horizontal alignment of suspended ceilings and for electrical installations ■ Vertical alignment of pipes and ducts in plumbing, heating and air conditioning installations ■ Transferring right angles for drywall installations ■ Installation of conveyor belts on an incline ■ For outdoor applications For medium- to long-distance work Very high accuracy Laser class 1: infrared, invisible Applications Levelling work in general construction and civil engineering Foundation excavations Alignment of formwork, pouring and compacting concrete Concrete foundations, floors and decks ■ ■ ■ ■ For precise, convenient alignment in indoor applications Pointing the way Practical accessories from Hilti such as robust tripods, telescopic staffs for transferring heights and useful adaptors make the Hilti PR16 rotating laser easy to use for a wide range of jobs. On the mark – without remote control At a distance of up to 30 m, where most remote controls are already out of range, the innovative beam catcher can be used to stop the laser beam at any desired position, where it is then projected as a clear, extendable line. Magically simple, or simply magic? The Hilti PR16 not only leaves both hands free, it also projects a precisely aligned line at the desired point, no matter whether in the vertical or horizontal planes or at the correct inclination. It can also set out right angles – quickly and easily.
