STEP Connect your cable outlet to the device’s CABLE connector.
STEP Use the cables to connect your phones and fax machines to the
4 LINE ports. Do this only if you ordered phone/fax service.
STEP You can connect computers to the wireless network. Look at the
sticker on the bottom of the device, and make a note of the SSID
and Wireless PassPhrase.

Next, look at the LEDs (lights) on
the front of the device. Wireless LED .
x on, or blinking? If so, the wireless network is on.
If not, turn the wireless network on by pressing the WiFi
W button on the side of me device for at least 1 second.
Press this button more than 5 secconds for WPS function.
STEP Connect the power adaptor to the POWER port.
STEP Look in the box and make sure you have the following:

STEP You can use the included Ethernet cable to connect a computer to

On your computer, open your wireless network utility (this example uses
Windows XP). Refresh the network list and locate your device’s SSID.

Select the network. In the next screen, enter the Wireless PassPhrase.

Click Connect. The next screen shows that you are securely connected.
Setup Complete
STEP Use the configuration interface to complete control over the
7 device’s behavior. In a Web browser, enter 192.168.0.1 in the
address bar. Enter admin as the usemame and password as the
password in the screen displays .

Green-Blinking: Tel line is in use.
Green: Gateway’s Tel port is online.
Dark: Gateway’s Tel port is not online.
Blinking: Data traffic on WiFi interface.
On: WiFi is enabled.
Off: WiFi is disabled.
