How to assemble your R/C MicroSizers PowerBrute How to install the batteriesSTEP 2: Mount the body.STEP 3: Install the tool attachment.Place the numbered stickers at the locations shown in the illustration.➊Pull to remove the front grille.➋Press in and push up at the front to remove the hood.Reverse these steps to reattach the hood and grille.➌  Fit the rear of the tool attachment against the chassis tablocated directly below the body’s front windshield. Snap the toolattachment down to fit securely onto the chassis. Make sure thatthe tool snaps into place firmly. If it does not operate properly, tryinstalling it again. Reverse these steps to remove the tool.☞IMPORTANTThis raised knob on the chassis must be in the slot on the toolattachment’s moving arm.➋Open the cover on the right side of the transmitter. Position themodel parallel to the transmitter with the headlights pointing up. Usethe illustrations above to align the model with the pins on thetransmitter and snap it into place.➊Thread the antenna through the hole in the top of the body.➋ ➀ Fit the slot in the rear of the body over the tab at the backof the chassis. ➁ Then snap the front in place.➌ For maximum control (8 to 10 ft. [2.4-3.0m] range), extendthe antenna wire straight up.➊Remove the battery cover screw with a Phillips screwdriver.➋ Install your batteries with the correct polarity.This transmitter requires 2 "AA" alkaline batteries. Never useother types of batteries.➌ Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw.How to charge the vehicle➊Set the transmitter switch to ON.ON/OFFSWITCHTRANSMITTERCHARGERDOOR➌  The metal contacts on the modeland the charger must make contact.While charging, keep pressing thechassis against the transmitter andmake sure the CHG light is on.➍ The LED (CHG) on the front of the transmitter will light for 45seconds. When it goes out, the battery has completed charging.☞If the model is attached before the transmitter is switchedon, it will not charge.STEP 1: Apply the stickers.CHARGELEDCHARGERCOVER As a reference point,start by inserting thispin in the middleof this slot.
How to driveAfter runningHow to operate the tool attachmentANTENNA➊  Gently pull up the antenna by hand. Never attempt to extendthe antenna by turning or pushing the dial on the back ofthe transmitter.➋ Turn on the transmitter switch.Throttle (left toggle control) - Move the truck forward by pushingup, or reverse by pushing down.Steering Wheel (right toggle control) - Steer the front tires left orright by pushing the right toggle control.By operating the toggle controls on both the right and leftsimultaneously, the truck can move forward-right, forward-left,reverse-right, or reverse-left.☞To run two R/C MicroSizers cars or PowerBrutes together,each must be on a different frequency.➊  Turn the winder on the back of the transmitter to store theantenna. Do not force the antenna back inside the transmitter by hand.➋ Switch the transmitter off. Always turn the switch off when notin use to extend your battery life.☞If the truck does not gostraight when pushing the lefttoggle control up, move thetrim lever on the bottom ofthe chassis to the left or rightto make adjustments.ON/OFFSWITCHANTENNA WINDERSTRAIGHT LINETRIM CONTROLTHROTTLECONTROLSTEERINGCONTROL➊ Press the transmitter’sAction Activator button to move the tool up and down.➍  When installing a motor,make sure that the motorcontacts are in the properposition as shownModel Battery Care Transmitter Battery CareA rechargeable battery has been built in to the main body of themodel. Using the battery incorrectly will cause it to leak, ruptureor ignite. Follow these precautions:·If your R/C MicroSizers PowerBrute has been unused for a longperiod or you are charging its built-in battery for the first time,the battery may not charge to full capacity. This does notindicate battery failure. Recharging and running the model 4 or5 times will gradually lengthen run times.·Fully discharge the battery by running the truck before recharging.·Charge the battery only when the truck is NOT running. To preventovercharging, never recharge a battery which has already beenfully charged. This will not increase running speed.·Recharge the battery only with the transmitter's built-in charger.·If the chassis becomes warm, let it cool before running again.This product uses a NiCd battery. NiCd batteries are recyclable,and a valuable resource. To dispose of the battery, remove it andtake it to a recycling center.Always use AA alkaline batteries. If improper batteries are usedin the transmitter, they may become hot, leak and may rupture.Follow these precautions:·Never use rechargeable batteries, such as NiCds, in the transmitter.·Do not mix different types of batteries, or old and new batteries.·When changing batteries, replace ALL of the old batteries with new ones.·Make sure the batteries are installed with the correct polarityas shown in the battery compartment.·Do not charge or disassemble your transmitter batteries. Neverallow them to become hot or to burn. To avoid short-circuits,avoid getting them wet.·If liquid from inside the batteries contacts your skin or clothes,wash them with water. If leaked battery fluid gets into your eyes,flush them immediately with cool water and seek medicalattention.
