2.4GHz i>clicker Remote Basic Instructions
Registering your i>clicker Remote
Check with your instructor to find out whether you should register your remote through your institution’s
Learning Management System of the i>clicker website. User the 8-character ID printed on the back of
the remote to register.
Turning on your i>clicker Remote
Press the POWER button. A solid green power light indicates your remote is on.
Changing the Frequency
1. Press and hold the POWER button until the POWER light flashes green.
2. Use the A-D buttons to enter the 2-letter frequency code provided by your instructor. All of the
A-E lights will flash green when the code has been entered correctly.
Flashing A-E red lights indicate that the frequency was not changed successfully. Check the
frequency code provided by your instructor and try again.
Answering Questions
Press the A-E button that corresponds to your answer. A steady green light indicates that your answer
was received. A flashing red light indicates that your answer was not received or your instructor has not
yet started polling.
Replacing the Batteries
A flashing red Low Battery indicates less than 10 hours of battery life remain.
1. Open the battery cover on the back of the remote.
2. Remote both batteries.
3. Replace the batteries with two new AAA batteries. Alkaline batteries are recommended.
4. Replace the battery cover.
