   Lyric-CDMA Installation Instructions   Lyric-CDMA  Communication Module Installation Guide For Documentation and Online Support: http://www.security.honeywell.com/hsc/resources/MyWebTech  General Information The Lyric-CDMA Communication Module allows the Lyric Smart Controller to communicate with the Central Station via the cellular radio network. NOTE: Before installing the communication module, remove power from the control or use the “Install Cell” mode described in the Replacing the Module section below.  Installing the Lyric-CDMA Module 1. Install the provided FCC/IC label (P/N 800-19688) on the control’s case back.  2. Remove bezel from right-hand side of control to expose the radio module slot To remove bezel, push upward.  3. Insert the module into the slot. Push firmly to mate the edge connector.  4. Replace the bezel.  5. Use AlarmNet Direct to enable the Lyric-CDMA module, configure alarm reporting and module supervision, and register the module.  Typical FCC/IC Label Location     Removing the Bezel    Installing the Lyric-CDMA Module  Replacing the Module In the event the module needs to be replaced, the Control must first be put in module replacement (“Install Cell”) mode to avoid causing a tamper alarm.  1. Select  the Install Cell button.    (Security – More – Tools – enter code – Test – Install Cell)  This mode deactivates tamper protection so the side bezel can be removed without causing an alarm.  2. Remove the side bezel. See diagram above.  3. Remove the screw that secures the module to the control.  4. Remove the communication module from its connection slot. 5. Insert the new module into the slot. Push firmly to mate the edge connector. Replace the securing screw.  6.  Replace the bezel.  7.  Use AlarmNet Direct to enable the Lyric-CDMA module, configure alarm reporting and module supervision, and register the module.
