WARNING: Changes or modifications made to this equipment not expressly approved by Huf Hülsbeck & Fürst GmbH & Co. KG may void the FCC authorization to operate this equipment.  This hand-held radio transmitter is primarily used for vehicle remote locking / unlocking (keyless entry) applications. It must be kept away from the reach of children. In the event of RF failure, the key blade can be used to open the vehicle doors.   WARNING! Improper use of vehicle keys can result in serious personal injury.  Always take the key with you when you leave the vehicle. The engine can be started and vehicle systems such as the power windows can be operated leading to serious personal injury.  Never leave children, disabled persons or anyone who cannot help themselves in the vehicle. The doors can be locked using the remote control key. This would result in people being trapped in the vehicle in an emergency. For example, depending on the time of year, people trapped in the vehicle can be exposed to very high or low temperatures.  Never remove the key from steering lock while the vehicle is moving or while it is rolling to a stop. The steering wheel column will lock up and you will not be able to steer or control the vehicle.  NOTE! The keys with the remote control contain electronic components. Protect these keys from moisture and rough handling. Never leave any vehicle keys inside the vehicle. Entry by unauthorized persons could harm the vehicle or your vehicle could be stolen. Always take the keys with you whenever you leave your vehicle. Unsuitable batteries can damage the remote control key. Replace used batteries with new ones of the same voltage and size.
1.1 Remote Keyless Entry  This hand-held radio transmitter allows you to lock / unlock the doors, remotely start, open trunk and activate the panic alarm within a range of around 100 m of the vehicle.   1.1.1 To Unlock doors   Press and release the UNLOCK button on the RKE Transmitter once to unlock.   1.1.2 To Lock doors   Press and release the LOOK button on the RKE Transmitter once to lock.   1.1.3 Trunk   Press and release the TRUNK button on the RKE Transmitter once to open the Trunk, Liftgate, Hatch.   1.1.4 Panic Alarm   Press and release the PANIC button on the RKE Transmitter once to turn the Panic Alarm On and OFF.
 1.1.5 Remote Start   This button allowes the user to REMOTE START the vehicles engine.  NOTES: If any of the buttons are pressed and not released within a 60 second duration (5 second duration for Korea version) the RKE Transmitter will stop transmitting and shut down to prevent battery drainage.   2 Flap Key Power Supply  The Flap Key power supply is realized by a single Li MnO2 3V button cell type CR2032 installed into a PCB battery holder with +V side facing upwards. The display in the instrument cluster will let you know when your battery in the remote control is getting weak..The battery indicator light in the instrument cluster flashes when the battery voltage level gets lower than 2.3V so you should replace the battery. Minimum operating voltage is approximately 2.1V, if the voltage drops below this level the transmitter will cease operation, and the battery will need to be replaced. Please replace battery with the aforementioned part number.   2.1 Battery
2.2 Replacing the battery  With the transmitter buttons facing down, open the battery box cover.   Remove the old battery from the PCB battery holder.   Replace the new battery with +V side facing upwards. Avoid touching the new batteries with your fingers. Skin oil may cause battery deterioration.   Do not touch the printed circuit board or the PCB battery holder. To reassemble the transmitter case, snap the battery box cover to the housing lower shell. Make sure that the battery box cover reliably engage.
