Bluetooth headset and audio gateway user guide
Bluetooth headset features
1) Talk Key & Headset indicator light To accept/end call; blue/red colors indicating the status of the headset.
2, 3) Volume control button up and down Adjust the speaker volume (2 dots volume up, one dot volume down)

Bluetooth audio gateway features

Introduction
This bluetooth headset and audio gateway are light weight wireless system utilizing bluetooth wireless
technology. The headset contains a microphone and a speaker; it’s for hands free communications with
mobile phones. While the audio gateway provides a linkage between the non bluetooth phone and bluetooth
headset. The headset and audio gateway’s power are provided by integral rechargeable battery.
Before use the headset, please make sure you:
1. Fully charge headset & audio gateway over night before you use it the first time.
2. Make sure that you pair the headset with audio gateway before you start making calls.
What's in the package?
1. One bluetooth headset.

Choose right or left ear wearing style
Headset can be worn on either ear by adjust the ear hook.
Note: The ear hook can plug into the socket by either side of the headset. Please see below.
Important: Please follow the below picture arrow angle to insert the ear hook, avoid vertical insert.
Adjustable hook’s angle for your ear
The angle of headset’s hook can be adjusted that to fit your ear.
Note: The hook includes the function that the hook can be adjusted. You can use it to fix your ear. Please see
below.
Important: Please be careful when you are adjusting the hook’s angle. Do not force it too much which to avoid
it getting any damages happened.
Prepare to use your Bluetooth headset
1. Charging and battery time
Before use your headset, you need to fully charge the batteries of headset and audio gateway.
NOTE: When the headset and audio gateway are under charging, headset’s power stays on “OFF” mode.
You’ll need to turn “ON” the headset to use after the charging.
Important: The headset’s power adaptor’s hole is bigger than the audio gateway; make sure you plug
the bigger adaptor’s connector to headset, while the smaller to audio gateway.
A. Connect the adaptor into an electrical outlet.
B. Plug the adaptor's connector into charging port.
C. While charging, the blue indicator light will stay solid on, when charging is completed, the light will be off.
Then you can take the adaptor's connector out from the headset and disconnect the adaptor from the
electrical outlet.
D. Charging time is about 2.5-3 hours.
When charging the headset please follow the arrow angle to insert the adaptor’s connector to headset, avoid
vertical insert
Note: The ear hook socket port and the power charging port is the same, it means you can either use
one port to insert the ear hook, while the other port to charging the battery.
2. Linking the headset to the audio gateway (Pairing)
Before you use your headset for the first time, you must pair the headset to audio gateway. The Bluetooth
connection between the headset and your audio gateway can be established by setting up a paired link. With
a paired link, the audio gateway remembers the headset's ID, and process with future use.
3. Pairing the headset to the audio gateway
Before you can pair your headset you need to put it into pairing mode.
Pairing mode can only be entered from the power OFF state of the headset. During pairing, it is
recommended that the headset and audio gateway distance is as close as possible with no solid objects in
between.
To proceed pairing the headset with the audio gateway, please follow this guide:
A. Ensure headset is switched off.
B. Press and hold the Talk button of headset for about 3 seconds, blue LED blinking 5 times, keep pressing,
then blue indicator and red indicator is cross blinking. This means the headset is in pairing mode.
C. Then using pair stick supplied; (In the opposite side of belt clip)
The pairing stick
Press down on the pair switch on audio gateway for about 3 seconds until the blue LED blinking. Then
release.
D. After few seconds, audio gateway blue LED off, and headset blue LED light flash in standby mode (every
3 seconds).
E. The headset and audio gateway are now paired.
NOTE: Once the headset and audio gateway have successfully paired you are ready to place and receive
calls.
Turning your headset ON and OFF
To switch your headset on, press and hold Talk button for about 3 seconds, the blue LED lights 5 times,
release the button. The blue LED will be then blinking once every about 3 seconds. This is standby mode
which means the headset is awaiting a call.
To switch your headset off, press and hold Talk button for 3 seconds until there are 5 times red LED blinking,
release the button.
Note: The audio gateway is always on standby mode, while charging completed and disconnects the power
adaptor from the electrical outlet.
Connecting the audio gateway to your phone
The audio gateway needs to be connected to your phone. To enjoy wireless communication with headset:
1. Locate the headset socket on your phone.
2. Plug in the connector from audio gateway.
Note: There are lots of headset sockets on different mobile phones system. So, you may plug the audio
gateway connector directly to mobile phone as below right picture; or your mobile phone required an
adapter to make the connection as below right picture.

Ensure your headset is turn ON, and audio gateway connected to phone correctly.
Place the headset on your ear in the desired wearing style.
Using the phone's keypad, dial the phone number.
To send the call, press the phone's SEND/CALL key the phone initiates the all.
The call will then transfer automatically to the headset when connection is made.
Ending a call from the headset
To end a call; when wearing the headset press the headset's Talk button.
Or you can end the call from the phone key pad.
Or when the other side hangs up the phone, the call ends automatically.
Receiving/Answering a call
If there is an incoming call while you are wearing the headset, a ring tone will sound in your headset and just
press the headset's Talk button to answer the call.
If you are not wearing the headset, then place the headset on your ear in the normal wearing position and use
the Talk button to accept the call.
If your cell phone supports auto answering a call, the headset will take the incoming call and you don't need to
press any button.
Speaker volume and volume control button
Headset offers adjust of speaker volume by press the volume up or down button. You can adjust the volume
to 15 pre-set levels.
Volume up and volume down button will regulate the volume to the speaker in these 15 steps. One step per
key press increases / decreases the desired volume until a satisfactory level is reached. An audible tone is
played for each step +/- and when either the minimum or maximum volume has been achieved.
Low battery warning
Headset:
The headset needs re-charging when the red LED is blinking once every 3 sec. You can also hear a special
tone of DO-LU-DO-LU-DO from the headset every 40 sec.
When you talk by the headset under battery low situation, the headset red LED is blinking 4 times every 3 sec.
Once the low battery warning indicator starts, you have around 10 minutes of talk time left and you will then
need to charge the battery in the headset.
Audio gateway:
The audio gateway needs re-charging when blue LED is flashing once every sec., while it's not in use.

Storage of headset and audio gateway
1. Always store the headset and audio gateway safety protected.
2. Avoid storage at high temperatures (above 60 C/134 F) such as in a hot vehicle or in direct sunlight.
(Storage at high temperature can degrade performance and reduce battery life.)
3. Do not expose the headset and audio gateway or any of its supplied parts to rain or other liquids.

This product is CE, FCC, BQB marked. Please note that this product uses radio frequency bands not
harmonized within EU. Within the EU, this product is intended to be used in Austria, Belgium, Denmark,
Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden,
United Kingdom and within EFTA in Iceland, Norway and Switzerland.
Users are not permitted to make changes or modify the device in any way. Changes or modifications not
