REMOVING THE SEAT CUSHION
1. Raise the footrest deployment handle to deploy the footrest (Fig.1).
2. Power off the chair, then unplug it.
3. Use your fingers to pop off the right-hand side panel (Fig.2).
4. Using a Phillips-head screwdriver, remove the screw from the underside of the right-hand armrest screw (Fig.3).
5. From underneath the chair, use a 16mm open wrench or socket wrench to remove the armrest bolt (Fig.4).
Tools Required: Phillips-head screwdriver, small flat-head screwdriver, 16mm open wrench or socket wrench, two people.
NOTE: SAVE ALL REMOVED PARTS FOR USE DURING REASSEMBLY

It is imperative that Human Touch® products are repaired in a manner that ensures product safety and regulatory compliance and that is fully consistent with the practices used
during the manufacturing process. Therefore, Human Touch requires that all product repairs are performed using only factory-new parts and in accordance with these repair
instructions. Failure to adhere to these instructions voids the product warranty and releases Human Touch from all liability for injury or product damage resulting from the repair.

6. Carefully remove the right-hand armrest from the chair.
7. Place a box or other sturdy object underneath the footrest, to hold it in place (Fig.5).
8. Locate the footrest actuator underneath the footrest, then use a flat-head screwdriver to remove the “C” clip and pin that secures the front end of the actuator
to the footrest (Fig.6).
9. Repeat steps 3 – 5 to remove the left-hand armrest.
10. Reach underneath the front of the seat cushion, then pull down and forward on the front flap to detach it from the underside of the chair (it is attached using
hook-and-loop fasteners) (Fig.7).
11. Lift the seat cushion up and off the chair (Fig.8).

1. Place the seat cushion into position on the chair.
2. From the front of the chair, slide the armrest backward into place. The tab on the bottom of the armrest slides into a slot on the chair.
3. Replace the screw on the underside of the armrest.
4. Align the left-hand armrest bolt hole with the corresponding hole in the chair frame, then replace the bolt to secure it.
5. Press the side panel into place.
6. Align the front end of the footrest actuator with the mounting point on the footrest, then secure it using the pin and “C” clip.
7. Repeat steps 2 – 5 to replace the right-hand armrest.
8. Remove the object that you placed under the footrest to support it.
9. Pull the front flap over the chair frame, then attach it to the underside of the chair using the hook-and-loop fasteners
10. Plug in the chair and power it on.
