Hyundai introduces a PCS phone, which will change your life. The Hyundai HGP-ZOOOE PCS has the
following main features,
0 7 informative icons with distinct and user-liiendly design.
0 Easy-to—use menu-driven operation.
0 19 buttons keypad with backlight.
Description of buttons
0 [LOCK]
Lock the buttons,
6 [VOL]
Adjust Eat-piece, Ringer, Keytone and Handsfi'ec volume,
0 [P]
Turns power on/off.
o [SEND]
Places or receives a call.
0 [END]
Ends a call or exits from the current menu structure during menu operation Clears all characters from
the display.
0 [MENU]
Selects menu mode, or exits from menu mode,
0 [El]
Edits and sends or receives SMS message.
0 [CLR]
Clears characters from the display, clears information in a memory location, or exits from the current
menu structure during menu operation.
0 [R/S]
Stores information in a memory location, or Recalls infomtation fi'om that In a menu, confirms a
setting,

Scrolls through the menu.
Display Indicators
0 (Signal Indicator)
l' Indicates current signal strength.
(Roam Indicator)
Indicates when the phone is outside of its home area.
Indicates when the phone 15 out of the servrce area and a is displayed
when the phone is ready to place or receive a call.

Basic Operation
Turning the Phone On/Off

The LIED blinks and all indicators light momentarily and then the greeting message and the phone
number appears on the LCD. Afier a moment. the display shows current time and data R55] and
Battery level appears on the ICD. If the phone isn’t in service area, fl icon is displayed.
If “LOCKOODE?” appears on the screen, you should enter 4 digits unlock code to unlock the phone
Turning Off
0 Press and hold the [P] button again until the lamp tums off.
Making a Call
Check the icon 5. If ‘ icon is displayed on the LCD. please move to another area until 5 appears.
0 Enter the phone number you wish to dial. Remember to include the area code.

One-Touch Dialing
For memory location 0 to 9, you can use one-touch dialing.
0 Press and hold the button corresponding to the memory location.
0 To use one-touch dialing, you should have stored the phone number in memory beforehand. J
Two-Touch Dialing
For memory location 10 to 99, you can use two-touch dialingr
0 Press the first digit and press and hold down the second digit.
0 To use two~touch dialing, you should have stored the phone number in memory beforehand. —'
Last Number Re-dial
The phone stores automatically the last ten nnmhers, whith you have called or nttempted to call.
To make a call to the number you called last;
0 Press {SEND}
To make a call to any of the other (nine) last—dialed numbers;

Receiving a Call
0 When the lamp blinks, “INCOMING CALL"is displayed on the LCD
0 Press any key except [P] button to get a call

Volume adjustment
On the side of the phone, press [VOL] to increase the volume.
Earpiece volume
0 During conversation, you can adjust Earpiece volume in 4 steps
Ringer volume
0 When the bell rings, you can adjust Ringer voluine in 4 steps
Keytone volume
0 During standby state, you can adjust Keytone volume in 5 steps including ‘SILENTE
Handsfree volume
0 During conversation, you can adjust Handsfree volume in 4 steps.
Using the Memory
Storing Information
Maximum 100 phone numbers up to 32 digits in length can be stored in memory.

memory location number of your choice.

How can I input and store characters?
1) Select character you want with table 1-1,
I Delete characters.

Recalling Information
You can recall the phone number you wish to find by memory location number, pm of phone number or
name in memory.

Using the Menu
There are two methods of accessing menu function.

- To move to the higher menu from current menu, press [CLR] / [END].
- To terminate menu completely, press [MENU] .

This fimction allows you to select and demonstrate the ear piece, ringer, key and handsfree volume level,

This function allows you to select auto retrying. If there is no answer, the phone retries the call
automatically every interval of time, which you set.

This function allows you to change or release the lock code of your phone.
