Quick Setting up and Using Your Beetles System
Setting up your Beetles Wireless system is easy and it won't take you more than few minutes to finish.
Follow the below steps:1. Unpack your Beetles Wireless System. You may save all the packing materials for packing purpose in the future.
2. Check if your Beetles Receiver are having the same RF Channels (U1-U10, please see P.9 for ICON Frequency Chart)
labels as your Beetles Transmitter. They needed to be same for your Beetles wireless system working.
3. Insert a standard 9V alkaline battery into the Receiver's Battery Compartment or plug in the
provided power adapter into the DC 9V jack.
4. Place the Receiver on the floor and lift up its dual antennas to the vertical position.
5. Make sure the powers are off for your Beetles Receiver and Transmitter.
6. Plug the cable jack to the output connector of your Receiver and connect it to your Amplifier
or Mixer (make sure the power is off for your Amplifier or Mixer).
7. Turn the Receiver's Volume Control knob to the most anti-clockwise position (i.e. Min. Level)
and push the Power knob to turn it on. The "ON" LED should light red.
8. Insert a standard 1.5V battery into your Beetles Transmitter Battery compartment. Then, turn
the power on. The "ON" LED should light once.
9. Check the "RF" LED on your Receiver, it lights (green) indicating the Receiver receives good
therefore signal from your Transmitter.

10. Now, it's time to set your audio levels. Turn on your amplifier or mixer and keep its level to minimum.
11. Turn the output level of your electric/acoustic guitar or bass to the maximum and start playing at a normal performance
level and keep observing the Beetles Receiver "RF" and "PEAK" LED. If PEAK LED stay on even Receiver's volume
control is set to its minimum, switch on your Beetles Transmitter's "15dB Pad " switch. Otherwise, turn the volume control
anti-clockwise until "PEAK" LED occasionally blinks red during the very loudest passages, then back it off just slightly;
this will ensure maximum signal to noise ratio.
12. Finally, raise the level of your amp or mixer until the desired volume is reached.
13. If you hear distortion or Beetles Receiver "PEAK " LED lights red even with the "15dB Pad" engaged and receiver level
control is set to minimum, please reduce the output level of your instrument until the "PEAK" LED no longer stay on all
the time. Conversely, if you hear weak and noise signal at the desired volume level, make sure your instrument is set to
maximum output level; the " 15dB Pad " is not engaged and the Receiver volume control is turned up.
