1. Introduction
The STAR RFL200 is an elegant looking and an attractive 4" read range proximity reader built-in
Proximity Single Door Access Controller which can be mounted to metal door frame (mullion) or to
any flat wall surface. The STAR RFL200 is epoxy potted that ensure you a successful operation
even in harsh environments.
Two-color LED of green and red, inside Piezo buzzer sound will guarantee you an accurate and
reliable Door Access Operations.

4. Installation
4
-1. Mullion/Wall Mount
Drill two 3mm holes 2.72"(69mm) apart in vertical and drill one 1/2" hole for
the controller cable 1.36"(34.5mm) apart from the top hole.
4-2. Put controller cable into the center hole and install the controller module by using two
3-20 screws.
4-3. Put bezel into the controller module then push bezel until you hear the locking sound.

6. Wire Connection of STAR RFL200
* If you use “Power Fail Safe” Lock
then connect Lock Type(Yellow wire)
t to Power GND(Black wire).

7. Operation
7-1. Apply power, Red LED will light. No sound.
7-2. Present proximity keytag to the RFL-100 until you hear beep sound, Green LED will light
and door opens for 5 seconds.
7-3. Press EXIT button for exit, door opens for 5 seconds.
7-4. Register/Delete User’s Keytags:
Present Master Card. Green LED will light with 2 beeps sound.
Present keytags to be registered or deleted. LED will flash to Red once,
3 beep sound let you know the keytag is registered to the memory and
4 beep sound let you know the keytag is deleted from the memory.
Present Master Card again to finish Register/Delete Operation. Red LED will light with
One long beep sound.
7-5. Erase all keytags and re-Register User’s Keytags:
If you lost the keytag(s) and want to delete lost keytag(s), you have to erase all memory
and re-Register User’s keytags.
Present Master Card. Green LED will light with 2 beeps sound.
Present Master Card again. Red LED will light with one beep sound. (All memory erased)
Present Master Card. Green LED will light with 2 beeps sound.
Present keytags to be registered. LED will flash to Red once with 3 beeps sound.
Present Master Card again to finish re-Register Operation. Red LED will light with
One long beep sound.
