3GBBATTERY INSTALLATION & SETTING UP:BELL PUSH1. Press  the recessed door catch with a  screwdriver to open the compartment.2. Insert three AAA-size (UM4) 1.5V batteries.3. Mount the compartment door on a wall using the two pieces of screwsprovided.EDC231

Assemble the front unit onto the compartment door.BATTERY INSTALLATION: RINGER1. Remove the screw on the bottom of the unit.2. Pull out the battery door.3. Insert two AA-size (UM-3) 1.5V batteries.4. 5GBWall-Mounting:Connector:Use wall-mount connector to align with other wall-mount bracket ifneccessary.Assemble the front unit onto the compartment door on a wall using the twopiece of screws provide.HOW TO SELECT THE DOOR CHIMEThe door chime is selected on the channel slide switch on the bell push.There are three chime patterns: Ding Dong (channel 1), Ding Ding (channel2) and West Minister (channel 3).To select the channel,1. Open the battery compartment door of the bell push.2. Slide the channel switch to the desired setting.3. Replace the battery compartment door.The channel selected will be displayed on the Ringer.channel  1 channel  2 channel  3
6GBHOW TO READ THE LOW BATTERYINDICATORReplace the batteries when the low-battery indicator for the Ringer or bellpush appears.HOW TO SET THE CHIME VOLUMEPress  [ VOLUME ] on the main unit to select between high and lowvolume. The volume level will be displayed.HOW TO SET THE SYSTEM CODEThis product uses a coding system to avoid interference among neighbouringOregon Scientific wireless products.  In the unlikely event that the unitrings without anyone of your bell push being used, it means another OregonScientific wireless product in the neighbourhood is using the same codes asyour own.  You should then change the security system code. Press and hold [ CODE ] for two seconds.2. Use [] to enter the code. You can select from 1 to 16.3. Press [ CODE ] to confirm and exit.Once set, the Ringer will retain the system code even when the batteries areremoved.To set the code for the bell push,1. Open the battery compartment door of the bell push.2. Set the code on the system code switch as shown below. There are 16combinations.3. Replace the battery compartment door.
7GBNote: These Oregon Scientific wireless models are compatible and willactivate each other if the system codes are set to be the same.  For example,if you install an additional Bell Push for your back door, make sure youadjust the system code of the additional Bell Push to be the same as yourother Bell Push and  your Ringer.HOW TO USE THE PRODUCTOnce the Ringer and bell push are in place, pressing the bell button on thebell push will activate the door chime in the chime pattern selected. Hold-ing on to the button will ring the bell continuously.TRANSMISSION COLLISIONSignals from other household devices, such as home security systems andentry controls, may interfere with those of this product and cause temporar-ily reception failure. This is normal and does not affect the general per-formance of the product. The transmission and reception of signals willresume once the interference recedes.THE RESET BUTTONThe RESET button is used to enhance synchronization of signals afterbattery replacement or when the unit is operating in an unfavorable way ormalfunctioning. Use a blunt stylus to hold down the button.  All settingswill return to their original values.PRECAUTIONSThis unit is engineered to give you years of satisfactory service if handledcarefully.1.
