Your keyfinder comes with two
CR 2032 battery (uninstalled).
1. Pull out the battery tray.
2. Place the new battery on the tray,
with the positive (+) side up.
3. Push the battery tray back in.
Your keyfinder
beeps and goes directly into
setup mode. The LED flashes
for about 50 seconds until you
press a button. Follow the steps
in Programming the Keyfinder
to program your settings.
Battery Notes:
• Use only fresh batteries of the required size and
recommended type.
• If you do not use the keyfinder for a month or more,
remove the battery.
• Dispose of the old battery promptly and properly. Do
not burn or bury it.
• Keep button-cell batteries away from children.
Swallowing a button-cell battery can be fatal.
Your Find One, Find All Keyfinder comes in a set of two
and helps you find up to six items within a range of up to
30 feet. Just attach the keyfinder to objects that are easily
lost, such as keys, TV remote controls, or cell phones.
Buttons on each key correspond to everyday household
items.

installing your battery
You can compose six sets of keyfinder systems. In each system, you can
program up to six items. Each item must have a separate keyfinder attached
to it.
1. Press a button on the keyfinder to program the set number. The keyfinder
beeps and the LED flashes quickly.
2. Press a button to program the item number. The LED flashes and the
keyfinder beeps to confirm your settings. For example, if you programmed
your keyfinder as Set 1 and Item 2, the keyfinder will beep once, pause,
and then beep twice.
• When the keyfinder stops working properly or the LED indicator dims, replace
the battery. Your settings will be lost, so you must program the keyfinder
again.
• If you do not program the keyfinders and press any key on the unit, all
unprogrammed units may respond. If keyfinder units are placed too close together and you press a
key on the keyfinder unit, you may receive a false beep from the other keyfinder.
• Do not attach the keyfinder closely to objects that contain large metal.
• Do not set both remotes with the same number for an object. They will not work properly. For
example: If you set 1 on your wallet remote, you must select a different number on your keyfob.

1. Press and hold 1 and 3 on your keyfinder for about three seconds to enter the setup mode. The
keyfinder gives a warble beep and the LED flashes continuously.
2. Repeat Steps 1 and 2 under “programming your keyfinder.”
checking your setup
You can check the set numbers and item numbers on each keyfinder at any time. Press and hold
5 and 6 at the same time. The LED flashes and a set of continuous beeps sound with a pause
between each one. The first beep is the set number and identifies which keyfinder set you have.
The last beep indicates the item number programmed for that keyfinder. For example: If the
keyfinder gives two beeps with an interval, and then one beep, the keyfinder belongs to Set 2 and
Item 1.
programming your keyfinder
Each keyfinder comes in a set. Use the supplied
plastic cord or the supplied double-sided tape
to attach one keyfinder to an object you don’t
want to misplace. Keep the other keyfinder to use
when searching for lost objects.
Loop the plastic cord through the opening at the
top of your cell phone and then slide the plastic
cord onto the keyring of the keyfinder.

To find a lost object, press the button on the keyfinder
that corresponds to the lost object. The LED flashes as the
search signal is transmitted.
If the object is within range, the keyfinder beeps and the
LED flashes. Move around the area and follow the sound
until you find the lost object. The keyfinder attached to the
object you are searching for emits a cluster of beeps, while
the LED flashes continuously.
You can use any keyfinder within the same set to
search for lost objects. This includes keyfinders that
are already attached to an item, such as your car
keys or cell phone. If you lose your keyfinders, you
can borrow someone else’s keyfinder. Program the
keyfinder to your set to locate your lost keyfinders.

• For the best results, hold the keyfinder unit
with the LED pointing away from you.
• Walk around your house while you
repeatedly press the number associated
with the item you are searching for in order
to get a clear search signal.
• Keep the keyfinder away from large metal
objects and other radio sources that might
reduce its range.
• To avoid confusion, use only one keyfinder
to search for the object you desire.
• Reduce or eliminate noises so you can
identify the beeping sound from the object
you are looking for.
hints and tips
• Keep your keyfinders dry; if they gets wet, wipe them dry
immediately.
• Use and store your keyfinders only in room temperature
environments.
• Handle your keyfinders carefully. Do not drop them.
• Keep your keyfinders away from dust and dirt.
• Wipe the keyfinder with a damp cloth occasionally to keep
it looking new.
