EN6TABLE STAND OR WALL MOUNTProduct can stand on detachable base or be mountedon a wall with a nail.GETTING STARTEDBATTERIESBatteries are not supplied with this product. You will needto purchase 2 x UM-3 (AA) 1.5V alkaline batteries forthe main unit, and 2 x UM-4 (AAA) 1.5V alkaline batteriesfor the remote sensor.Insert batteries before first use, matching the polarity asshown in  the  battery  compartment.  For  best  results,install batteries in the remote sensor before the mainunit. Press RESET after each battery change.Do not use rechargeable batteries.NOTE shows on LCD display when batteries are low.CHANGE SETTINGS1. Press and hold MODE for 2 seconds to enter settingmode.2. Press UP or DOWN to change settings.3. Press MODE to confirm.REMOTE SENSOR (THN122)This product is shipped with a THN122 Thermo Sensorthat collects Temperature data. Data can be collectedfrom up to 3 sensors.  Additional sensors sold separately.
EN73. Place the sensor near the main unit. Press RESETon the sensor to initiate signal sending between thesensor and the main unit. The reception icon onthe main unit will blink for approximately 3 minuteswhile it is searching for the sensor. (Refer to theSensor Data Transmission  section  for  moreinformation.)4. Close the remote sensor battery compartment.5. Secure the sensor in the desired location using thewall mount or table stand.SETUP SENSOROpen the  remote  sensor  battery  compartment  with  asmall Phillips screwdriver.1. Insert the batteries, matching the polarity as shownin the battery compartment.2. Set the channel. The switch is located in the batterycompartment.For best results:• Insert the batteries and select the channel andtemperature unit before you mount the sensor.• Place the  sensor  out  of  direct  sunlight andmoisture.• Do not place the sensor more than 30 meters(98 feet) from the main (indoor) unit.• Position the  sensor  so  that  it faces  the  main(indoor) unit,  minimizing  obstructions  such  asdoors, walls, and furniture.• Place the sensor in a location with a clear viewto the  sky, away  from  metallic  or  electronicobjects.• Position the  sensor  close  to  the  main  unitduring cold  winter  months  as  below-freezingtemperatures may affect battery performance andsignal transmission.You may need to experiment with various locations toget the best results.SWITCH OPTIONChannel Channel 1 - 3. If you are usingmore than one sensor, select adifferent channel for each sensor.
EN8SEARCH FOR SENSORTo  search  for  a sensor,  press  and  hold  MEM  andCHANNEL for 2 seconds.If the  sensor  is  still  not  found,  check  thebatteries, obstructions, and remote unit location.Signals from  household  devices  such  asdoorbells, electronic garage doors, and home securitysystems may cause temporary reception failure. This isnormal and does not affect general product performance.The reception will resume once the interference ends.--- shows in TempAreasICON DESCRIPTIONMain unit is searching forsensors.At least 1 channel hasbeen found.Channel 1 is selected (numberwill change depending on thesensor you select)The selected sensor cannotbe found. Press and hold MODE for 2 seconds.  The ClockArea will blink.2. Select the hour, minute, date, month, language, dayand time zone offset (-12 to +12).  Press UP orDOWN to change the setting. Press MODE toconfirm.The Language settings are (E) English, (D)German, (F) French, and (I) ItalianSWITCH CLOCK & CALENDAR DISPLAYClock with  Weekday, Clock  with  Weekday and ZoneTime, and Clock with Weekday and Zone Calendar.NOTENOTENOTEDATA TRANSMISSIONData is sent from the sensor(s) every 30 seconds.The reception icon shown in the Temperature Areashows the status.
EN9SET DUAL ALARM1. Press ((.)).2. Press and hold ((.)) again for 2 seconds. The Alarmsettings will blink.3. Select the hour and minute. Press UP or DOWN tochange settings. Press ((.)) to confirm.       To set second alarm perform step 1 twice,then perform steps 2 and 3.ACTIVATE ALARMPress ALARM ON / OFF to activate, deactivate and togglebetween alarm  settings.    (Alarm  symbol  with  #1  or  #2)shows in  Calendar  / Alarm Area  when alarm(s)  areactivated.TEMPERATUREThis product  can  display  the  following  temperatureinformation:• Current, minimum and maximum readings• Trend line for remote sensorData is collected by the remote sensors and displayedevery 30 seconds.SELECT TEMPERATURE UNITSlide the °C / °F switch into the desired location. EN10MINIMUM / MAXIMUM RECORDSPress MEM to toggle between current, maximum (MAX)and minimum (MIN) records for the indoor reading andthe  selected  sensor.  To  clear  both  the  indoorthermometer and selected sensor records, press andhold MEM for 2 seconds.A beep will sound to confirm that the memory has beencleared.TEMPERATURE TRENDThe trend line is shown next to the Temperature reading.RESET SYSTEMThe RESET  buttons  are  located  in  the  batterycompartments for  the  main  unit  and  sensors.  PressRESET when you change the batteries and wheneverperformance is not behaving as expected (for example,unable to  establish  radio  frequency  link  with  remotesensor.When you press RESET, all settings will returnto default value, and you will lose all stored information.SAFETY AND CAREClean the product with a slightly damp cloth and alcohol-free mild detergent. Avoid dropping the product or placingit in a high-traffic location.WARNINGSThis product is designed to give you years of service ifhandled properly. Observe the following guidelines:•Never immerse the product in water.
