USER SAFETY GUIDE
WARNING
THIS PRODUCT COMES WITH A LITHIUM BATTERY. BATTERY REPLACEMENT MUST IMPERATIVELY
BE PERFORMED BY QUALIFIED MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL. MOREOVER, ONLY IER APPROVED
MODELS MAY BE USED.
DANGER OF EXPLOSION IF BATTERY IS INCORRECTLY REPLACED. REPLACE ONLY WITH THE
SAME OR EQUIVALENT TYPE RECOMMENDED BY THE MANUFACTURER. DISPOSE OF USED
BATTERIES ACCORDING TO THE MANUFACTURER’S INSTRUCTIONS.
DO NOT OPEN THE POWER SUPPLY UNIT CASE FOR ANY REASON, SINCE HIGH VOLTAGE MAY BE
PRESENT.
DO NOT REPLACE THE FUSE OF THE POWER SUPPLY UNIT.

NOTE : This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device,
pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against
harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio
frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful
interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a
particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which
can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the
interference by one or more of the following measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.

IEC 364 AND NFC15-100 REGULATIONS, AND

In compliance with the European Directive 2002/96/CE relative to the management of Waste Electrical and
Electronic Equipment (WEEE) implemented as of August 13, 2005, this product may not be disposed of with
regular household waste. All products concerned by this directive are marked with the above symbol.
The end owner of this product is responsible for either:
• Transferring the product to an authorized treatment facility where the product components, recognized to
present a hazard to the environment and/or public health, will be recycled and recovered properly, or
• Consulting with the manufacturer for appropriate product waste management according to the terms of the
manufacturer.

CONNECTION TO THE LINE VOLTAGE / POWER UP
Connecting to the Line Voltage
Connect the AC power cord first to the AC power connector on the IER
product (see illustration opposite) and then to the AC power outlet.
Powering Up
Set the power switch to the I position (see illustration opposite).
POWERING DOWN / MAKING THE IER PRODUCT ELECTRICALLY SAFE
Powering Down
Set the power switch to the 0 position (see illustration opposite).
Making the IER Product Electrically Safe
Disconnect the AC power cord from the AC power connector of the IER
product.

La Federal Communications Commission (FCC) spécifie (dans sa réglementation 47 CFR 15.105) que les
utilisateurs de ce produit soient informés de l’avis suivant :
NOTE : Ce matériel a été testé et déclaré conforme aux limites imposées aux appareils numériques de
classe B, conformément à l'alinéa 15 de la réglementation FCC. Ces limites sont destinées à assurer une
protection raisonnable contre les interférences dans un environnement résidentiel. Ce matériel génère, utilise
et peut émettre de l'énergie aux fréquences radioélectriques et, s'il n'est pas installé et utilisé conformément à
sa documentation, risque de provoquer des interférences pour les communications radio. Cependant, tout

RACCORDEMENT / MISE SOUSTENSION
Raccordement à l'alimentation secteur
Brancher le cordon secteur au connecteur d'alimentation du terminal
(voir illustration ci-contre) puis à la prise d'alimentation secteur.
Mise sous tension
Appuyer sur l'interrupteur, en position "I" (voir illustration ci-contre).
EXTINCTION / MISE EN SÉCURITÉ
Extinction
Appuyer sur l'interrupteur, en position "0" (voir illustration ci-contre).
Mise en sécurité
Débrancher le cordon secteur du connecteur d'alimentation du terminal.
