INSERT/REMOVE MEMORY CARD
You can use a microSD/SDHC"‘l memory card (not included) to
expand the internal memory ot the tablet up to 32 GB. You can
choose whether to store your files on the tablets internal memory or
on the memory card.
To insert a memory card, orient it so that the metal contacts are
lacing the microSD slot and the rear ot the tablet. Then, press the
memory card into the microSD slot until you hear a slight clid<.
To remove a memory card, first turn off the power. Then, press on
the memory card to release It, and then pull It out of the slot.
Do not remove the memory card while you are viewing files or
using apps stored on the memory card. When the memory card
is removed, any tiles or apps stored on the memory card will not be
available.
SET UP HOME SCREEN
The home screen is the starting polnt to access all of the tablets
teatures.
Add an app shortcut to the home screen. On the home screen,
touch the Apps Menu button, find the icon tor the desired app, and
then touch and hold the icon. The app shortcut will then appear on
the home screen. Drag the app shortcut to the desired position.
Set the wallpaper. Touch and hold on a blank area ot the home
screen until an options menu appears. Then, touch Walwapers, select
the desired wallpaper image, and touch Set wallpaper to contirm your
selection.
SET LANGUAGE AND TIME
Set the language. From the home screen, go to tablet settings: Apps
Menu button > Settings > Language & input> Language. Then, select
the desired display language.
Set the date and time. From the home screen, go to tablet settings:
Apps Menu button > Settings> Dale & time. Then, select the desired
time and date options.
CONNECT TO WIRELESS NETWORK
From the home screen, go to tablet settings: Apps Menu button >
Settings > Wi-Fi.
Touch Onto enable Wi-Fi°3 on the tablet. The tablet will then scan tor
and display a list of available wireless networks on the screen. Touch
the name ot the desired wireless network. Then, enter the password
if necessary, and touch Connect. The tablet will then connect to the
selected wireless network.
ADD APPS T0 TABLET
To add apps to the tablet, touch the Apps Menu button and open the
Google Play store app, which gives you amess to a wide array ot free
and paid apps. Use this app to browse. select, pay tor. download, and
install apps on the tablet.
TURN POWER ONIOFF
To turn on the power, press and hold the power button located on the
side at the tablet for a tew seconds The tablet will turn on.
Alock screen may appear. To unlock the screen, swlpe upward. The
home screen will then appear.
The first time you use the tablet, a setup guide will appeal on the
screen. Follow the instructions in the setup 9 e to set up your
tablet.
To enter the sleep mode, press the power button once. The screen
will turn oft, but the tablet will not turn all. To exit the sleep mode,
press the power button once. The screen will tum on.
To turn ott the power, press and hold the power button tor several
seconds. An options menu will appear. Touch the Power Ofloption.
The tablet will turn oft.
CHARGE TABLET BA'I'I'ERV
The first time you turn on the power, allow the battery in the tablet to
n.ln down completely Then, plug in the mole and the charger and
charge the battery completely.
To charge the battery, plug the cable and the charger into the micro
USB port on the tablet and into a power outlet that is properly
installed according to local codes and ordinances or into a certified
cornptlter. powered hub, or power supply.
When the charger is plugged into a power outlet, it will take approx-
imately 5 hours for the tablet to charge completely. Do not use the
tablet while it is charging.
NAVIGATE TABLET
0 Touch the Home button to go to the home screen.
<1 Touch the Back button to return to the previous screen.
D Touch the Recent Apps button to view a list ot recent apps.
® Touch the Apps Menu button to go to the apps menu.
TRANSFER FILES WITH USB CABLE
To transter document, image, music, and video tiles between the
tablet and a PC computer. tirst plug the USB cable into the tablet and
into your computer.
Next, swlpe down the screen, touch the USB options notltlcatlon mes-
sage on the screen. and select the File transfers or the Photo transfer
(PTP) option to connect as a media device or as a camera.
Then, select and copy the desired tiles onto the tablet or onto your
computer.
Do not unplug the USB cable whlb the tiles are being
transterred. Wait until any file transfers are completed betore you
unplug the USB cable from the tablet and your computer
When you transfer files to the tablet, you can choose to store them
on the internal memory or on a memory card, it one is inserted. See
INSERT/REMOVE MEMORY CARD.
Note: To transfer tiles between the tablet and a Mac com-
puter Wlth the USB cable, you must download and Install the
tree Android File Transter app on your Mac computer. So to
androidcom/rlletranster for more Information.
TROUBLESHOOT
If the tablet gets wet 0 not press the power button. Unplug the
charger and the USB 0 Die. Next, unplug or remove any other
devices that are connected to the tablet. Then. contact Customer
Care for assistance.
It' the tablet does not turn on: It a memory card ls inserted, remove
it. Then, charge the tablet completely and try to turn on the power. If
the tablet still does not turn on, contact Customer Care.
If the tablet lleezes up: Press and hold the power button until the
power turns otf completely. Then, turn on the power again.
It' the battery dialns quickly: Tum down the volume level on the
tablet. Navigate to tablet setting :Apps Menu button > Settings >
Display Then, set the brlghtness ot the display to a lower level and
set the sleep time to a shorter interval.
