Quick Start Guide
Please read the following instructions before initial use.
Charge the battery prior to initial use.
During the test, your hands MUST NOT come in contact with each other.
Step 1. Charging
Charge the InBodyWATCH by docking the device to the included
charging cradle dock and plugging the dock into a USB port.
A full charge requires approximately 1 hour.
Bluetooth will not work while charging.
Step 2. Powering Up
To turn on the InBodyWATCH, press the side button for 3~5 seconds.
Step 3. Syncing with the App
1) Search “InBody” in the App Store or the Google Play Store and click download.
2) Open the app and enter your mobile phone number. Enter your gender, height, age, and password.
Finish creating your account by pressing the ‘Done’ button.
3) Select ‘InBodyWATCH in the setup screen, and press the ‘Setupbutton. Enter your weight and
press ‘Confirm’.
4) The InBodyWATCH will vibrate to indicate a successful connection has been made between the
InBody App and the InBodyWATCH. (※Bluetooth must be on.)
Step 4. Method of use (Touch screen)
To move the various function screen of InBodyWATCH, slide the screen
right and left. To go detail screen for each function, slide the screen up
and down.
Testing Instructions (Body Composition)
1) Maintain the proper posture during the test as shown in the image
on the right.
2) Your hands MUST NOT come in contact with each other. Be sure
your fingers are not in contact with the back of your hand.
3) For accurate results, maintain the same posture for every test and
use similar testing conditions (i.e. same time of day).
Testing Precautions
*Warning
1) Individuals with artificial implants such as pacemakers or life-sustaining implants should not take
the InBody test.
2) The electrical currents used for the test are not harmful to the body, but pregnant women are
advised to consult with an expert before use.
*Caution
1) This product is not a medical device and the presence of illnesses cannot be determined. To
determine the presence of illnesses, contact your doctor.
2) Results may vary depending on physical and environmental conditions.
3) Tests should be taken indoors in the event of cold weather.
General Precautions
Please observe these safety warnings for safe and proper use of the product to prevent accidents
or danger.
* Caution
-This product has been tested in a controlled environment and is water and dust-resistant under
specific conditions. It satisfies the requirement for IP68 Level of International Standard IEC 60529 –
Degrees of Protection provided by Enclosures [IP Code]. However, the InBodyWATCH may not resist
water and may become damaged by water in certain circumstances.
-Do not disassemble or cause impact to the product arbitrarily. Such actions may result in electrical
shock or injury, failure and inaccurate outcomes of the product, and no further warranty service
may be provided by the manufacturer.
-Do not open, disassemble, break, deform, bend, smash, press, or make a hole in the product.
-Do not use the product if damaged. It could cause a fire, burn, injury, and/or electric shock.
-Do not place the InBodyWATCH in salt water or chemicals (soap water).
-Do not leave the product in a bath tub or hot water.
-Do not leave the InBodyWATCH where high-pressure water (tap water, waterfalls, and waves) can
be splashed on the product, or use the product underwater.
-Do not bend the product excessively. It may cause damage to the product.
-Do not drop or impact the product. The main device of the product can be damaged or deformed,
causing water leakage.
-Keep out of reach of pets or children. InBodyWATCH can be a choking hazard or battery can
explode.
-Do not wear the product for prolonged periods in environments with high temperature and
humidity such as inside a car or in a spa. The exterior can deform or the product can break or
explode.
-Do not expose the InBodyWATCH to UV light for prolonged periods of time.
-The battery itself must not be changed, remodeled, or added with other substances, or placed in
or exposed to water or other liquids.
-The battery must be charged before it is fully discharged. The battery life reduces if the battery is
discharged for long periods of time.
-The battery life can vary by the degree of use.
-Do not cover or wrap with a blanket while the product is being used or charged. It can cause a
fire.
-Those allergic to metal, rubber, and/or silicon materials must not use the product.
-Clean the product regularly to maintain hygiene.
-Users who wear the InBodyWATCH tightly and/or with sensitive skin may experience skin reactions.
-Skin reactions can appear to users who are exposed to external irritants such as sweat and/or soap,
or by allergens, environmental factors, and/or other factors.
-Keep the band clean and dry. This product observes the international safety standard but can cause
allergic reactions in certain circumstances.
-Do not connect the product to other equipment in methods not specified in the users manual.
-Keep the electrodes of the product away from electro conductive materials. Electrical stimulation
such as static electricity can cause product damage or failure.
-Do not check the phone notification or other data shown in the product display in circumstances
that can cause risks by negligence or while driving.
-The band strap can be contaminated and/or discolored or deformed by direct sunlight, water, oil,
and/or cosmetics.
-Do not touch or use excessive force on the charging dock while it is plugged in.
-Be sure not to bend the charging dock USB cable. Stop using the product if the USB cable is
damaged.
-The InBodyWATCH is classified as home (Class B) electromagnetic radio equipment and can be
used anywhere.
-The wireless service may interfere with other Bluetooth-enabled devices. Therefore, it cannot
provide life-safety services. Get the notification directly from your cellphone in situations such as
medical emergencies or when communication is required.
-Bluetooth devices may cause electromagnetic interferences with multiple electronic goods due to
use of the same frequency range.
-Illegal data transfer or data transfer problems through Bluetooth is the responsibility of the user.
*Reference
-Clean the product with soft fabrics once a week.
-Changes to product specifications and/or the users manual can be modified without prior notice.
Disposal
Customer Information for Eco-friendly Project (Disposal Product):
This product must be disposed for the purposes of recycling electronic goods.
See the handling policy of the local community association for the disposal and
recycling of electronic goods.

This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device,
pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection
against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can
radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions,
may cause harmful interference to radio communications.
However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation.

determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the

-Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
-Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.

The equipment must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or
transmitter.

Product Warranty
InBody provides warranty for products in compliance with the Consumer Dispute Resolution System

*Product Service Criteria
-Service will be provided free of charge only for failures caused by manufacturers defect or by
natural causes during the warranty period.
-See Consumer Dispute Resolution System announced by Fair Trade Commission for unspecified
details.
Paid Service Information
1) Failure caused by user mistake
-Failure or damage caused by mishandling (dropping, flooding, shock, breakage, excessive
operation etc.)
-Failure and damage caused by not observing way of use and precautions in manual
2) Other cases
-Failure caused by natural disasters (fire, flooding, abnormal power source etc.)
-The consumable part is expired or is already used (battery, strap already in use)

If the content of product is modified or damaged by arbitrary disassembly of product,
unauthorized change of operation, and repair by a third-party person other than the personnel
authorized by the company, warranty will be invalidated.

-In case the date of product purchase cannot be found, calculate the warranty period on the 3rd
month following the purchase date.
-Keep this warranty information safe as it will not be reissued.
