Quick Setup Guide | NS-SSTK2B/NS-SSTK2B-C “Selfie” Stick - Expandable Mobile Phone Holder PACKAGE CONTENTS • • • • • ATTACHING YOUR DEVICE Adapter head GoPro adapter Selfie stick Adjustable mobile phone holder Camera mount Bluetooth® remote control Quick Setup Guide Phone holder 1 If the camera mount is attached, remove the locking screw and detach the adapter. 2 Line up the phone holder and selfie stick screw holes, then insert and tighten the locking screw. 3 Pull up the mobile phone holder, then insert your phone in a landscape position. Locking screw OR Note: The mobile phone holder adjusts to fit phones that are 1.5 – 3" in width. Camera mount GoPro adapter 1 If the phone holder is attached, remove the locking screw and detach the phone holder. 2 Line up your GoPro and selfie stick screw holes, then insert and tighten the locking screw. OR Mobile phone holder PAIRING YOUR BLUETOOTH DEVICE 1 Press and hold (shutter) on the remote control to enter pairing mode. The light blinks blue and red. 2 Make sure that your phone is within 33 feet (10 meters) of the remote control. 3 Turn on your Bluetooth device (such as a phone), turn on Bluetooth, then put it in pairing mode. For more information, see the documentation that came with your phone. 4 On your Bluetooth device, select NS-SSTK2B. The remote control pairs with your Bluetooth device and the light turns off. Extending stick 1 Put your device in picture or video mode. For example, open your camera app if you’re using a phone. Tip: Use your phone’s front-facing camera to aim. 2 Pull the adapter head to extend the selfie stick to the length that you want, then adjust the angle by tilting the tilting the phone holder, GoPro , or camera mount. 3 Aim your camera, then press (shutter) on the remote control. Remote control Tip: Attach the remote control to the handle of your selfie stick for easy access. Slide off the battery cover. Insert a CR2032L battery. The positive side should face up. Replace the battery cover and rubber back. STORING YOUR SELFIE STICK • Make sure the mobile phone holder is attached at the top. Fold the mobile phone holder down, then screw the camera mount to the bottom of the selfie stick. Use the Velcro strap to attach the remote control to the selfie stick’s handle. TROUBLESHOOTING Remote control will not pair with my phone • Move your phone and remote control closer together. • Make sure that your phone and remote control are not paired to another Bluetooth device. • Make sure that you selected NS-SSTK2B on your phone. • Turn your phone off, then on. Re-pair your remote control and phone. • The remote control battery may be depleted. Replace the battery. “NS-SSTK2B” does not appear on my phone • Move your phone and remote control closer together. • Put your remote control in pairing mode, then refresh your list of Bluetooth devices.
