Identifying the Parts
1. Emergency Button/ LED

Learning-in the Halo Transmitter
Press the Emergency button, a radio signal will be transmitted to the Control
Panel. Please refer to the learn-in procedure of your Control Panel for further instruction.

Operation
 To dial Emergency Line:
Press once on the Emergency button, the GREEN LED will illuminate for 2 seconds and transmit
the message to the Control Panel.
 Sleep Mode:
-The Halo Transmitter ships in “Sleep Mode” to conserve battery life
-Pressing the Emergency Button once will cause the Transmitter to exit Sleep Mode
-To put the Halo Transmitter back into Sleep Mode, hold the Emergency Button for 14 seconds.
The LED will illuminate RED for 2 seconds

Battery & Electrical Specifications
 Frequency: 315 Mhz
 Battery: CR2032, 3V 230mAh
 Battery life: Typical life expectancy of 5 yrs at an average use rate of one activation per day.
 Open Field Range: Approximately 600 ft.
 Low battery status: when the battery voltage is below the threshold, the Halo Transmitter will
indicate a low battery by illuminating the RED LED for 2 seconds when the Emergency button is
pressed. The low battery signal will be transmitted to the Control Panel.

-- Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
-- Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
