1. Emergency Button/ LED



Learning-in the Halo Transmitter
Press the Emergency button, a radio signal will be transmitted to the Control
Panel. Please refer to the learn-in procedure of your Control Panel for further instruction.

Operation








Sleep Mode:
-To put the Halo Transmitter back into Sleep Mode, hold the Emergency Button for 14 seconds.
The LED will illuminate RED for 2 seconds


Press once on the Emergency button, the GREEN LED will illuminate for 2 seconds and
transmit themessage to the Control Panel.
-The Halo Transmitter ships in “Sleep Mode” to conserve battery life
-Pressing the Emergency Button once will cause the Transmitter to exit Sleep Mode




Battery life: Typical life expectancy of 5 yrs at an average use rate of one activation per day. 
Open Field Range: Approximately 600 ft.
Low battery status: when the battery voltage is below the threshold, the Halo Transmitter will
indicate a low battery by illuminating the RED LED for 2 seconds when the
Emergency button is
pressed. The low battery signal will be transmitted to the Control Panel.



