1. Emergency Button/ LED

Learning-in the Halo Transmitter
Press the Emergency button, a radio signal will be transmitted to the Control
Panel. Please refer to the learn-in procedure of your Control Panel for further instruction.

Operation
To dial Emergency Line:
Press once on the Emergency button, the GREEN LED will illuminate for 2 seconds and
transmit the message to the Control Panel.
Sleep Mode:
-The Halo Transmitter ships in “Sleep Mode” to conserve battery life
-Pressing the Emergency Button once will cause the Transmitter to exit Sleep Mode

Battery & Electrical Specifications
Frequency: 418 MHz
Battery: CR2032, 3V 230mAh
Battery life: Typical life expectancy of 5 yrs at an average use rate of one activation per day.
Open Field Range: Approximately 500 ft.
Low battery status: when the battery voltage is below the threshold, the Halo Transmitter will
indicate a low battery by illuminating the RED LED for 2 seconds when the Emergency button is
pressed. The low battery signal will be transmitted to the Control Panel.
