This document is a quick start guide providing information on your TAG Heuer device basic functions only. For more information, please refer to complete user guide available on www.tagheuer.com/connected. COMPATIBILITY To make your TAG Heuer connected watch, you will need to have a phone with running Android 4.3+ or iOS 8.2+ ans supports Bluetooth. Supported features may vary between platforms. Visit g.co/wearcheck on your phone to see if it’s compatible. You will also need to keep your phone next to the watch. TURNING ON YOUR WATCH Make sure battery on watch is charged or is charging. To see how to charge your watch, please see the CHARGING section of this document. 1. To turn on your watch, press and hold the Power Key (on the right hand side of the watch) for a few seconds. 2. Swipe the welcome screen left to begin. 3. Tap a language 4. Connect your watch to a power source and swipe left to continue. TURNING OFF THE WATCH 1. Press and hold the power key until the apps list appears. 2. Tap Settings > Power off. 3. When prompted with message Power off: Are you sure? Tap check mark. PAIRING YOUR WATCH Make sure battery on watch and phone is charged or is charging. 1. Connect your phone to wifi and turn on Bluetooth. You need a data connection to set up your watch for the first time. 2. From your phone, please go to Google play store and download the “Android Wear” app. 3. Open the “Android wear” app and click “pair” if the pairing code displayed on the watch matches with the code shown on the phone application. 4. Confirmation message on your watch will be displayed once it is paired. This can take a few minutes, please be patient. 5. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the initial setup and enjoy the discovery of your TAG Heuer Connected watch. CHARGING YOUR WATCH Before using your watch for the first time, you should charge the battery. Use the charging cradle and micro USB cable provided with the watch to charge its battery. 1.Please insert the micro USB cable into the charging cradle and make sure Micro USB cable is plugged in to an authorized power source. You can use the wall plug provided within the accessories. 2. Once your cradle, micro USB cable are ready, please align the shield logo of your power button with the shield you can find on the left side of the charging cradle. You should have the charging terminals of your watch aligned with those of your charging cradle. Once those are aligned, the charger should be set properly for your watch to start charging. Tips for using Bluetooth and Wi-‐Fi on your watch When connecting your product to other mobile devices, the devices must be positioned close to each other. If not, it may cause abnormal operation or noise, depending on the use environment. In an open space, the Bluetooth communication range about 10m. This range may vary depending on the use environment. Do not place obstacles between your product and connected devices. Outgoing / incoming signal can weaken due to user’s body, walls, corners or obstacles. Use where there is no obstacle. When using a wi-‐fi connection, your watch will search and connect to the nearest Wi-‐Fi network based on the Wi-‐Fi list registered on your watch.
