BATTERIES
Installing the Batteries.
1. Make sure that the device is off.
2. Slide the battery cover outward to open it.
3. Place the "AAA" size batteries after checking their polarities carefully.
4. Make sure that the polarity of each battery is correctly aligned as indicated, and then slide the battery cover until locked.
Replacing the Batteries
When the battery level indicator starts blinking on the LCD panel, replace
L - b R t the batteries as soon as possible. When the batteries are exhausted, the signal
of "L»bAt”(Low battery) is shown on the LCD panel.

GL (Gain Low = dictation mode) 1 In the VOICE mode, GL is recommended to select for recording

LP (Long Play) : In the VOICE mode, LP is recommended to select for recording long play
Max. 500 minutes of recording time is avaible in this mode.
LO (Low resolution) : In the CAMERA mode, pictures can be taken with low resolution
of 320 x 240 pixels. Total 500 frames can be taken in this mode.
BEFORE YOU USE
HI (High resolution) 1 In the CAMERA mode, pictures can be taken at high resolution
of 640 X 480 pixels. Total 130 frames can be taken in this mode.
USB : Indicates that the device is being connected to the computer Via USB cable.
This button is to hold all of function keys. You can see the signal of "HOLD" on the LCD panel for
2 seconds when you swttch the Hold on. It returns to the STANDBY mode for Iminute before power—off.
This function prevents accidental operation while carrying the deVice in a podcet or briefcase.
Low Battery Indicator
When the batteries are exhausted, the signal of "L-bAt" (Low Battery) is shown on the LCD panels
Then, you should replace the batteries as soon as possible,
FuII Memory Message
When the memory is full, the signal of ”FULL" is shown on the LCD panel.
Either of photographing or recording is not available any more.

HOW TO INSTALL THE SOFTWARE
Installing "the Software for the V0|ceCamlI on your PC allows you to carry out the following 1
- Upload data on the VeiceCamll to your PC, View photo files, and play votce files.
- Save files on your PC with indrVIduaI file name.
- Print the photo images ustng the printer connected to your PC.
To operate the device on your PC, you should setup the hardware drive and install the interface program to your PC as lollows.
1. Connect the device to your PC Via USB cable.
2. Insert the software CD into your CD—ROM or DVUROM driver.
3. Follow the installing procedure.

To make uploaded files run on your PC, you should understand the window system of the VoiceCamIl If you double—click
the icon of the VoiceCam on your PC screen, the Main Window mpears. You can use this program, iust like the
Outlook Express. The Main Window is composed of Outlook Window, Thumbnail Window, Wave Player,
Graphic Window, Menu Bar, Tool Bar.

HOW TO UPLOAD DATA TO PC VIA USB CABLE
After completing installation of PC interface program, you can see an icon named VoiceCam on the screen.
1. Double-click the VotceCam icon on your PC screen.
2. Connect the VoiceCam to your PC Via USB cable.
3. Click the icon in the Toolbar, or click " Upload All"
a or "Upload Photo", "Upload Voice" of the Data in the MENU bar
4, When the message of "Prevnous Uploaded data All Deleted!!" appears, click "YES".
5. While uploading, the signal of "UPLOADING" IS blinking on the Window.
6. Wait until the message of "Upload Complete!" appears.

To View PHOTO files,
1. Click "PHOTO Folder" in the Outlook Window.
2. The PHOTO files (cam001.|pg ...... ) taken display in the Thumbnail Window.
3. Click the right file that you would like to view in the Thumbnail Window.
4. You can see the big sized image in the Graphic Window.
rv NOTE 1 The available functions With PHOTO file are SaveAs, Copy, Cut, Remove, Paste, Rename, Send To
Mail, Photo Rotate (Left, Right, Reverse), Info, etc.
To play VOICE files,
1. Click the right folder among the Folder A/B/C/D/ in the Outlook Window.
2. Whenever you click each folder, the recorded files (camOOl ,wav ,,,,, l are shown in the Thumbnail Window.
3. Double-click the right file that you would like to listen.
4. While playing you can adiust the volume level With the Volume Adiuster.

To readiust the "Maximum pause time in VOR mode“, In case of selecting the VCR mode on, it is mtomaticdly converted to
the STAND—BY mode after 5 minutes with no extemd voice recognized while recording.
1. Clid< the "Option" of the View in the MENU bar.
2. Write the number of time that you would like the device to be paused before being converted to the STAND-BY mode in
case of the VCR mode on. You cm select the time among 1~ 30 minutes.
3. Clid< "Apply" and "OK",

When you connect the VoiceCam to the computer with USB cable, you can use it as a PC Camera.
In the PC Camera mode, you can take pictures and record video clips with the VoiceCamIl.

3. The method of compression supported are RGB and YUV.
