he Invacare® Comet™ pediatric wheelchair’s good looks are second only to its adjustability. The
chair is designed to fit even the smallest children and grow right along with them, simply and
inexpensively. A depth range of 7" to 13" is available on one frame. Or, choose the long frame for a
growth range of 9" to 16". The chair’s width can be changed just as easily, from 10" to 16" on either the short
or long frame. Even the crossmembers can be moved to accommodate almost any seating system. For
smaller children, the chair may be set up in a reversed configuration, with the larger wheels in front, and then
switched to the conventional configuration when the child is able to reach the rear wheels — all with no
additional parts required. These innovations have helped the Comet introduce a new word to the world of
pediatric chairs: simplicity.
