100T-MS Methane Sensor Endpoint User Manual  The 100T-MS is an endpoint that includes a methane sensor used to detect, record, and transmit methane levels and alarms to a 100 Series collector or repeater. To Install the Endpoint 1. Attach the endpoint mounting bracket to the wall or pipe and use the bracket leveling feature to ensure it is level. 2. Attach the endpoint to the mounting bracket using the screws provided. 3. Cover the screws with the tamper caps. 4. Using an FC300 radio put the endpoint into Run mode. 5. Verify that methane level messages for the particular endpoint ID are being received at the head end application.  Troubleshooting If methane level messages are not being received, check the following: • The Endpoint is in Run mode • The CCU or repeater is installed within range of the endpoint is powered. • The head end application is connected to the correct database that contains the endpoint data. Service The endpoint contains a non-serviceable lifetime battery.  If the unit fails, please return to Itron for repair/replacement. Unapproved modifications or operation beyond or in conflict with these instructions for use may void authorization by the authorities to operate the equipment.
